First time trying this place! It's pizza how it oughta be. Dining in was fancy for me with the little pizza stands. What makes mountain mikes pizza stand out is that the toppings go to the edge of the crust. I also noticed one of the workers cleaning the table and sitting down to measure if it was a good distance or not. That's attention to detail. I loved the smell of the place as I can smell that new smell. My favorite. Everything was nice and shiny. Let's hope it stays that way. As far as the food goes I liked the snowy alps more than the pepperoni pizza. The snowy alps had a nice cheese pull and the veggies made the pizza taste more fresh. Overall really great texture and I would be back again. We also ordered the churros. They're not overly sweet which actually makes them dangerous for me. I like how they're mini and I can literally eat them in one bite to prevent making a mess. As soon as I finished eating one id want another until I was stuffed. You can also order online and create a custom order with different toppings of your choice. I forgot to mention that this place has a lot of tvs to watch sports. I think that's another unique thing to this pizza joint. They also have Pepsi products in their drink dispenser.

Wilted salad with brown lettuce and rotten spinach

Not much to say about service. You don't get much when you do the buffet, however pizza reminded me of frozen ones from Walmart. Crust was tough, and dry and not much flavor. Salad had lettuce with brown edges and as shown in photo, bad spinach. Many of items on salad bar out of reach for me. The tip-off should have been it was 12:30 and only two customers in the place. We were very hungry and we did eat, however we won't be back nor will we recommend it to anyone.

Great crust, it was hot and had a super crunch. We got a pepperoni and BBq ranch. Both were very good the bbq was a shining star. Lots of toppings and great sauce.

I honestly considered not writing a review for Mountain Mike's Pizza, but i wouldn't be doing the right thing by not writing it, so here it is! It sucks! As a pizza fanatic, i have to judge the pizza as a whole and it just doesn't measure up to the better class of eats as other pizza places. First thing is the crust, tasteless and doughy. No wonder they cover the whole pie and don't leave a crust ring. It's probably to cover up the fact that their dough isn't up to par. The pie also had a very weird taste and i'm not talking about the Linguica, which in itself is a little weird to be putting on a pizza, but ? Other thing wrong, we're tasteless Italian Sausage, small pepperoni and very little beef. The sauce was light and probably would be appreciated by most who don't like a spicy sauce. The biggest problem or should i say the other biggest problem, was the lack of Jalapenos. When i ask for Jalapenos, i expect to get Jalapenos all over my pie, not just a few scattered willy-nilly over the top. Let talk price. OH MY GOD! I can't believe i spent over $35.00 for this heavy, tasteless piece of s... The large pie i got cost me $29.99 and then added $2.50 for Jalapenos, plus the tax took it just above the $35.00 mark. This is just unacceptable for something that's not good eats. I totally wasted my hard earned money. In fact, i threw out most of it cause i just could eat any more(that's the pic i took). I'm really sorry about this, but i have to call it like i eat it.

    Receipt

Everything was good except the price. Ordered a medium thin crust Snowy Alps to go. It was not huge but it fed 2 adults. It was good but not remarkable and the check was $29.55. Even without the $2.50 gratuity a medium, not remarkable, pizza isn't worth $27.05. Sorry Mountain Mike's!!

New to this area Mountain Mike is a growing chain. I got the all you can eat salad bar. It's nothing special basic salad for 10 but a single serve salad is 8. I ordered a small pizza it cost 20 plus a drink and tip a 40 dollar lunch. A bit pricey when buffalo wild wings is next door and an in n out also in the center. The pizza was timely hot and tasty. The staff friendly and attentive. I missed the lunch buffet, which would have been all I needed salad and a slice. The price is a bit high especially with the competition in the same center. It's worth a try

Went to this place because the other location has great reviews and I wanted to try them out. There's a location near my job but this one doesn't have the best reviews but I can at least get a taste of what all these California people are into. So the buffet has potential it's small but there's enough room to have a good variety of pizza. The slices are like for kids they need a thicker cut come on I'm not 4 and this isn't a child's pizza I need adult slices. Third the pizza isn't constantly fresh it's a you get what's out there on the buffet and that's it. Buffets have fresh product coming out even if the other stuff is old. They will not make a fresh pizza here and hey I get it. From a business standpoint that's wasting good money. I also get it because the traffic doesn't warrant fresh pizzas sitting out. I was in there an hour and only a group of three came in to eat. I mean why waste money and product putting out fresh pizza for no one to eat it makes no sense. Overall the pizza was decent it wasn't bad and it was t the best however I think it would taste better how and fresh out the oven. I would actually go again if I'm on my lunch and craving pizza.

My young daughters literally just ate 1 slice and left the rest.

No disrespect but my honest opinion. I purchased this "medium" size pizza for about $20 just to try and will be the last time. The pizza practically had no sauce and just wasn't worth the prize. My daughters love pizza and just ate a small slice and left the rest. Wouldn't recommend !

It was my mom's birthday and she was in the mood for Italian. I had heard good things about Pie Tap…read moreso Pie Tap it was! We came in on a cold Monday night. We parked at street parking across the restaurant without issue. Inside, we were promptly seated. The inside is nice and dim with an open kitchen. We started the night off with the Fondue. The rosemary buffs were delicious and the perfect vehicle for the two different dips - goat cheese fondue and pecan pepper jam. I really enjoyed the goat cheese. It was nice and hearty, pairing very well with the bread. The pepper jam added a sweet touch but I'm more a savory person so I was more than content with the cheese itself. My mom got the papparadelle and bolognese while I got the sausage pizza. The papparadelle was nice and al dente. It paired well with the bolognese sauce. However, I felt it was warm when it came out so it got cold quickly. The sausage pizza was delicious! The star of the pie were easily the carmelized onions - added such a perfect level of sweetness that it really elevated the whole dish. The crust also went well with the cheese from the fondue. At this point in the evening, we were feeling pretty full. Nonetheless, our waiter, Seamus, knew it was my mom's birthday. With that in mind, he treated us to the donuts. They came with chocolate sauce and strawberry jam. Both were good. I personally preferred the chocolate since that's what I usually lean more towards. We thought it was such a nice gesture. The night was that much more special because of Seamus. Overall, althrough everything wasn't perfect (not that it should have been), the work and effort was clearly there. Looking forward to coming back again one day.

My parents were in town and we decided to come here for my birthday in fact. Usually, we would have walked. Though it was pretty cold outside. There's a small lot that's right at the entrance (or back) of the restaurant. However, in the likely case that it's full, there's a spacious lot that's nearby next to the parking garage as well. Inside, we were quickly seated. Our waitress brought out our drinks promptly. We knew what we wanted so we ordered then and there as well. For appetizers, we got the Artichokes Classique. I'm not the biggest artichokes fan. I may or may not have been trying to convince my parents that I have a sophisticated adult palate and this looked like it would do the job. The artichokes were lightly fried with a crispy exterior. They retained their earthy, taste. Paired well with the slightly spicy, garlicky calabrian chile aioli. My dad got the Chicken Parm Sandwich. It was nice and meaty - solid chicken parm! What really stood out, in my opinion, was the side caesar salad. They used whole gem lettuce as opposed to romaine which I felt offered a better texture, presentation, and helped with the dressing distribution. My mom, or rather all of us, got the Chorizo y Miele which was their pizza of the month for Feburary. Without a doubt, it was one of the many highlights of this night. It's a sweet-spicy pizza with rich, salty sausage accented by an appropriate amount of habanero honey drizzle. I had never had sweety drop peppers but it was such a nice addition in terms of presentation for the month of February, texture with the slight cruchiness of the whole pepper, and flavor with the slight spice. Last but not least, the texture of the pizza was phenomenal. The crust had that nice smokey flavor - perfect base for all of the ingredients on top. Finally, I got the Truffle Carbonara. Rich. Decadent. Mindblowing. This is easily one of the top three carbonaras that I have ever had. It was so delicious. The truffle flavor is not overwhelming at all - just the right amount. Lastly, I want to comment on the stellar service. We were checked on frequently by our wonderful waitress. Additionally, since it was my birthday, we had brought a cake from a bakery to the restaurant. Not only did she offer to store the cake in the fridge, but she made sure that we had enough plates, silverware, and even a lighter for the candles. Truly made sure that the evening was special! Overall, I'm looking forward to one day coming back to Cane Rosso. From trying the unique monthly pasta and pizza specials to the wonderful service, you can't go wrong with a meal here!
