The first time I went with my parent after a show at bass hall, one night after a show. We ordered a margarita pizza and we tried their Zeppoles. They came out with chocolate sauce and some ice cream. It was delicious. I've also had their tiramisu. It was perfectly moist and hit the spot for desert one night with a friend service is good and ambiance can get noisy with parties but it's a nice restaurant. Pricy but the food is good.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Service and ambiance were great![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I really appreciated all the movie decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We got half truffle/half pepperoni with pesto pizza and the flavors were great. I wasn't the biggest fan of how soft the crust was I definitely prefer a crispy crust. Overall super good and the Caesar salad was awesome

Somehow the pizza came out cold at least the ingredients were and the cheese wasn't hard stiff. The dough not as airy as pizza napolitana traditionally is. The super nice staff made up for the low par food experience.

We ate the other day and had a great experience. We had pizzas and some spinach artichoke dip. All of them were really good. I would totally go back and eat again. The service was 7 out of 10. Good not great.

We were recently in Fort Worth, taking one of our grandchildren to the zoo. He wanted pizza for lunch and we had eaten here several years ago and remembered it as being quite good. Thank goodness, it's still really good. He had the kids meal pizza and really enjoyed it. We shared a dinner salad and the Honey Bastard (aka "Honey B") pizza. The pizza was amazing, especially the crust.... Thin under the pizza, but thicker and soft around the edges. Perfect for dipping in their excellent Ranch dressing. The salad was simple, but very fresh and tasty. Our server, Kyler, was very nice and attentive. This place is definitely worth a try if you're looking for good, fresh food. BTW, the "Honey B" is the top seller and I can see why. Keep up the great work!!

My wife and I recently took our daughter to Cane Rosso to celebrate a recent promotion and the Christmas holiday. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The evening we went, the temperature outside was somewhat mild, so as we reached the restaurant entrance, there were quite a number of guests having dinner in the restaurant's outdoor, courtyard-esque seating area. Since the courtyard seating is adjacent to the entrance, opposite Magnolia Ave., it was really quaint, and quiet, and absent of any of the normal byproducts of sitting outside when a restaurant is situated on a major thoroughfare.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This was our first visit to any Cane Rosso location, so walking in, I was immediately impressed with the churning, wood-fired pizza oven. I'm a pizza fanatic too, so seeing the oven blazing inside made my heart flutter![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I could hardly wait to see the menu offerings! Whenever I try out any restaurant that is "new to me," I have a bad habit of trying to order EVERYTHING. This night was no exception! As appetizers, we ordered the fried mozzarella bites, listed on the menu as Fried Nuggz and, the Artichokes Classique, which are fried artichoke petals. The artichokes are served with a Calabrian Chili Aioli. And, let me say, without reservation: These tasty bites of fried goodness are next level delicious! I bet they go through at least a hundred artichokes a day. I'm not even kidding! The first time I ate fried artichoke was waaay back in 1993, in California. They are a staple in most California restaurants, because they are grown there. And... ever since I had them and then moved on from California, in my military career, I have yearned to eat them again! Enter Cane Rosso and my life has come full circle!! In all seriousness, even if you go to Cane Rosso for nothing else BUT the fried artichokes, Go! Just GO!!! You'll thank be later! So, now that I'm back... for our meals, my wife ordered the Truffle Carbonara, with a Crispy Chicken add-in; my daughter ordered the Capra Stack Salad, also with a Crispy Chicken add-in, and I had the "Che Cazzo" Pizza. Everything was absolutely delicious! The "Crispy Chicken" was very similar to how one would likely get it in Europe; tenderized to 3/8 inch thick with a very crispy coating, fried to perfection and juicy! The Carbonara was to die for; homemade noodles prepared perfectly al dente! And, the sauce was so wonderfully light; with an appearance that re-heating any leftover would no separate. We did have leftovers that my daughter took home with her, but we did not check-in afterwards to see how well or not it re-heated. My daughter's Capra Stack was fresh and very delicious; very novel and bursting with flavor! She said she would have liked fewer cherries, but my wife and I both liked the flavor so much with the cherries, we thought it was great As Is. It was a great salad! Now as for my Che Cazzo Pizza, I will issue the following disclaimer: I should have paid closer attention to the admonishment in the Cane Rosso menu and followed the traditional European recommendation for maximum number of Items to be ordered on a pizza, "3." The Che Cazzo comes with four, plus bacon in the Marinara. This did end up resulting in a slightly floppy pizza. Now, don't get me wrong about the Che Cazzo; this is one DELICIOUS pizza! But, should you decide to order this pizza - and, YOU REALLY SHOULD ORDER THIS PIZZA! - make sure to request of your Server that your Che Cazzo be Well Done! Doing so will completely solve any flop or sog issues, and you will thank me for the recommendation. For our drinks, we ordered a couple of Spiked Sangrias, a Red, an Iced Tea, and a couple of Waters. All of the drinks were spot on; no "slime in the ice machine!" Yaaaaay!! Our Server was fantastic! She was knowledgeable of the menu, friendly, attentive and considerate! Very Impressive!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance inside was almost party like, but definitely not in a bad way. It was like every table was having their own private party, but one where the vibes were carrying throughout the room, but everyone's volumes were respectful of others around them; I was really digging it!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We spoke in normal times, sometimes with a little laughter at a higher volume but never felt like we were disturbing others, because it seemed like this was what everyone was doing. It was just a cool, relaxed, comfortable party vibe. Kind of like having an adult party at a friend's house, where none of the really obnoxious people showed up. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was clean, as was the restroom; clean and well stocked![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] All I will say, in case you haven't already figured it out, GO TO CANE ROSSO! Enjoy, Repeat! Eat well. Be well. Cheers!

We came around on a Friday night to eat before heading to a concert. As expected, it was really busy, but the service and speed of food delivery to the table wasn't affected by that. The server kept our water filled, and was friendly even while rushing around to meet all the tables needs. I highly recommend the burrata appetizer! It was perfection. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The noise level is high here but we could still hear each other when we were talking.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've always loved eating at Cane Rosso through the years and that opinion stands unchanged!

As a resident on Magnolia, we're fortunate to have many great restaurants to support. Cane Rosso was no exception. My parents were in town and we decided to come here for my birthday in fact. Usually, we would have walked. Though it was pretty cold outside. There's a small lot that's right at the entrance (or back) of the restaurant. However, in the likely case that it's full, there's a spacious lot that's nearby next to the parking garage as well. Inside, we were quickly seated. Our waitress brought out our drinks promptly. We knew what we wanted so we ordered then and there as well. For appetizers, we got the Artichokes Classique. I'm not the biggest artichokes fan. I may or may not have been trying to convince my parents that I have a sophisticated adult palate and this looked like it would do the job. The artichokes were lightly fried with a crispy exterior. They retained their earthy, taste. Paired well with the slightly spicy, garlicky calabrian chile aioli. My dad got the Chicken Parm Sandwich. It was nice and meaty - solid chicken parm! What really stood out, in my opinion, was the side caesar salad. They used whole gem lettuce as opposed to romaine which I felt offered a better texture, presentation, and helped with the dressing distribution. My mom, or rather all of us, got the Chorizo y Miele which was their pizza of the month for Feburary. Without a doubt, it was one of the many highlights of this night. It's a sweet-spicy pizza with rich, salty sausage accented by an appropriate amount of habanero honey drizzle. I had never had sweety drop peppers but it was such a nice addition in terms of presentation for the month of February, texture with the slight cruchiness of the whole pepper, and flavor with the slight spice. Last but not least, the texture of the pizza was phenomenal. The crust had that nice smokey flavor - perfect base for all of the ingredients on top. Finally, I got the Truffle Carbonara. Rich. Decadent. Mindblowing. This is easily one of the top three carbonaras that I have ever had. It was so delicious. The truffle flavor is not overwhelming at all - just the right amount. Lastly, I want to comment on the stellar service. We were checked on frequently by our wonderful waitress. Additionally, since it was my birthday, we had brought a cake from a bakery to the restaurant. Not only did she offer to store the cake in the fridge, but she made sure that we had enough plates, silverware, and even a lighter for the candles. Truly made sure that the evening was special! Overall, I'm looking forward to one day coming back to Cane Rosso. From trying the unique monthly pasta and pizza specials to the wonderful service, you can't go wrong with a meal here!

The Honey Bastard was the favorite of the pizzas I've tried. The pizza is good, but because of how thin it is, it's very floppy which isn't my favorite quality in a pizza. Our server was very nice, but the service and ambiance didn't blow me away. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is nicely located on Magnolia with both indoor and outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Well, it's been ten years since we first had our first Honey Bastard pizza. And I'm here today to say it is still off the chain delicious. It occurred to me today at lunch to double the toppings. Six bucks extra. Well worth it. So good. Y'all just go and double the toppings for the win. Man, I dunno who thunk this pizza up but they deserve a James Beard Award or something. Maybe a Pulitzer Prize or a Nobel Peace Prize. Something! LOL. And the Caprese salad here is outstanding. Tomatoes are nothing to write home about but that's what I expect anymore in a restaurant (or anywhere actually...cannot recall the last time I had a great tomato), but the mozzerella, basil pesto, EVOO, balsamic, and arugula all work together to make for a lovely salad notwithstanding. Will definitely do this again here on future visits. Definitely recommend as a salad accompaniment to your pizza or meal. Great service in a very comfortable and enjoyable restaurant.

Cane Rosso has a great menu for the pizza and pasta lovers out there! A friend and I walked in for dinner without a reservation and were promptly seated. Our server was wonderful. She was quick to grab drinks and was attentive without being overbearing. The menu is varied with lots of vegetarian options. I tried one of the white pizzas and thought it was good. It was a little floppy for my taste, but the leftovers were excellent after being crisped up in my oven. My friend got the carbonara and liked it a lot. Parking was really difficult to find. The restaurant also got pretty loud, but it has a nice ambience with a ton of natural lighting. I would come back again in the future, but I'd probably carpool or Uber to avoid parking headaches.

Both Service and food were amazing. I think the brussels sprouts and the artichokes are by far our go to favorites for appetizers. We really could eat all appetizers at this restaurant. The pizza is also delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have both inside and outside seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Reservations are available for all sizes of parties.

I'm not sure if they just changed suppliers or not but things have gotten smaller / worse quality while the price has gone up for what arguably is standard breakfast fare. Case in point: the Chicken or Egg Sandwich. Used to be my go to, but after having it recently again after not coming for quite some time it was a disappointment. The chicken cutlet used was thin compared to the thick fried version it had before, everything was a bit beige, and a rather small serving of hash browns accompanied it. I had a standard black coffee alongside it which tasted a bit watered down and my partner has commented that the speciality coffees are not as good as they used to be. Other new additions to the menu aren't exactly what you would expect, for example the Monte Cristo is more a deconstructed version of the Bennigan's classic but it's not obvious unless your waiter tells you. The price is typical of downtown but the food doesn't rise to the occasion and the value proposition for me isn't enough to come back unless something changes. Thats not to say the food is all bad, but seeing what it was prior to their menu change, it's just uninspiring for the price. The service however has remained top tier and every time I have gone I've had fantastic service regardless of if it's a Sunday morning with a hour long wait or a quiet weekday lunch.

The only downside was a strange smell like old mop water that permeated the entrance and the seats near it. We had to ask to move seats. The table we were then moved to was crammed against the front wall crooked for some reason. Otherwise, the food was on point and delicious.

Completely soggy and unable to eat as a sandwich. Strawberry jam on it was a nice different touch. Had to eat with fork & knife. Not one of the better ones in the area. Fries were really good though. We will go back sometime and try breakfast.

None of our meals disappointed us and we left very satisfied by the experience. Memories for a lifetime! Most folks were dressed up (Including me and my partner...ironed starched blue jeans, smart collared shirt, cowboy boots and cowboy hats are very acceptable here). While it was a lovely experience in a stunning environment, it fell a bit short of the high bar you'd expect for a $95/pp tea service. The Good: First and foremost, the environment is absolutely beautiful. The Bowie House, Bricks & Horses restaurant, and the Mulberry Room itself are gorgeously decorated with a sophisticated Texas Western theme. The atmosphere in the Mulberry library is intimate and visually striking. Additionally, the service was excellent from start to finish, being both attentive and professional. The food portions are quite generous, with both the savories and sweets served together on a single tower. The sweets were the highlight of the food, as they were very delicious and surprisingly large. We also really enjoyed the tea selections themselves, particularly the Earl Grey and the plum rooibos. The Letdowns: Unfortunately, a few details missed the mark, especially considering the premium price point: - The "Champagne": The experience is advertised as including a glass of Champagne, but we were actually served Prosecco. At nearly $100 a person, substituting Prosecco for real Champagne or Cremant is a major disappointment. - The Tea Service: Instead of receiving a teapot to enjoy throughout the afternoon, the tea is steeped directly in the cup. This limits you to a single cup per tea variety, though to be fair, I didn't ask if refills were an option. - Food Refinement: While the portions were large and the savories were tasty, they lacked the elegance of a traditional tea. Every savory option was open-faced and heavily blanketed in microgreens and edible flowers, which felt a bit unrefined. - Comfort & Conversation: The Mulberry library features low couches, deep chairs, and coffee tables. While this setup would be absolutely perfect for relaxing with a glass of whiskey, it makes leaning over to eat finger foods highly uncomfortable. Furthermore, the seating layout isn't ideal for holding a natural conversation with the people in your party. Overall: It is a nice experience in a breathtaking Fort Worth hotel, but I'm not sure I would return. If the price point were lower, the execution would make more sense. However, given the other highly refined afternoon tea options available across DFW for less money, this one doesn't quite live up to its price tag.

Want a southern Louisiana breakfast in Fort Worth? Check out Fixe Southern House in ClearFork…read more Sunday brunch was so nice. Went for the biscuits, but our very wise waitress, Adriana, warned us that the biscuits were made with lard. Well that knocked out a bunch or breakfast options. She was so sweet and actually went to the kitchen and marked the menu pointing out lard-free menu choices. On the menu. Using black ink dots. Above and beyond. So we regrouped our breakfast plans and went mainly vegetarian. The Herbivore was absolutely delicious! Antebellum cheese grits topped with garlicky kale, romanesco and a soft boiled egg. We added a second egg. Split with my hubby. So good!! My sister-in-law had the brioche French toast. French toast topped with honey better, fresh berries and pecan granola. Served with maple syrup. Amazing! Added the duck fat breakfast potatoes. Who knew that the flavor would be so enhanced with the onions, peppers and duck fat. Get this side! Not a coffee drinker, but my hubby really enjoyed the coffee that is sourced from Cusco, Peru. Adriana made sure that the cups were always full and hot. Thank you for the VIP service at Fixe Southern House. Resident discount applied. Born from Opelousas, Louisiana, breakfast served with a huge helping of southern hospitality. We started with the biscuits and cinnamon roll. I would recommend both. The biscuits came with a jam, honey and whipped butter. The cinnamon roll, which may look a bit underwhelming had a such a great crispy texture on the outside while still being fluffy on the inside. The icing wasn't too sweet and complimented the roll nicely. For the table, we had the pollo frito biscuit w/duck fat potatoes, Brisket Benedict w/okra and the Fixe Breakfast entree w/maple sausage and potatoes. The pollo Frito was delicious, the chicken was seasoned well and maintained crunch even within the biscuit. Duck fat potatoes were also good but were even better after adding some salt. The brisket benny was okay, the texture of the brisket was very odd and didn't really hold up to the egg. Although the okra had a great flavor the batter was a bit too thick which made it chewy. The Fixe breakfast was great and the maple sausage was perfect. Our waitress was Adriana, she was great and very helpful. Overall we would definitely come back and look forward to trying dinner one night.

However the bathroom sinks may just be an elaborate prank pulled on every guest of this hotel. There are many photos already on here, but the pictures don't do it justice. The sink is approximately 7" x 12", and has a mirror jutting out over a portion of it, leaving you with roughly 4-5" of functional sink space. This will be the smallest sink you've ever used in your life (and I've spent lots of time in NYC and Chicago, where I've used some very small sinks). Need to wash your hands? You're getting water on your feet. Shave? Better wear a bathing suit. Wash your face? A wetsuit is recommended. Accidentally turn the water on too high when doing any of the above? Bet you didn't know you were about to take a full shower! I'm not sure the building codes in Dallas, but apparently you can get away with installing dollhouse fixtures here. Choose another property just simply so you don't have to deal with the hassle.

Overall the room was very nice.. I was surprised by the complete cement room but shockingly it was perfect, the bed is comfortable however the pillows are very big. My neck does not do well with thick pillows and these were very thick. The bar was mediocre and the bar tender struggled to keep up with customers and wasn't very friendly. Overall it was a good hotel and a fun experience.
