Atmosphere baby!

It's been years since I last set foot in Campisi's. 15 years to be exact. I normally frequented the original Dallas location on Mockingbird Drive, but I made a point to visit here while in town to see Rush during their 50th Anniversary Tour. I've been craving a hamburger and white onion Campisi's pizza and their signature dinner salad for 15 years, and I wasn't disappointed. Exactly as I remembered it, and as usual, the service was impeccable. I'll definitely return whenever I'm in Ft. Worth, which sadly, isn't often enough.

Our first time here. The waitress Morgan was awesome. Very friendly let us have an appetizer free since it was our first visit. We ordered the Randy White ravioli. It was terrific, fried crispy with melted cheese and one of the best sauces we have had. The pizza had a very thin crust and was very tasty. We ordered a sampler dish with meatballs that were some of the best. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was on point. Thanks Morgan for a terrific meal and great experience. We will be going back.

Bruschetta

Been wanting to stop in and eat here for a while, and glad I did. The bruschetta and pizza were delicious. I was not expecting the crust to be as thin as it was but it was good and light. I left full but not stuffed and sleepy like after eating some other pizzas that have a lot of dough. I recommend for authentic Italian.

Salad

Service was good. Food was okay. Salad was plain just lettuce and sprinkled Parmesan cheese. Combo pasta plate was 50% sauce. Ravioli was not fully cooked.

Food was great, service was great, very clean inside! One of my favorite FTW spots and for good reason! Ask for Leyla - the best waitress!

The pizza was the best pizza of my life. I had the salami pizza. My service was also exemplary. The host offered me a spritz of hand sanitizer when he seated me, and my waiter was the perfect balance of attentive and polite. I would recommend the place to anyone and everyone! 10/10

There's an atrium-looking room which looked like a private party room, but it was part of the bar area and it has no roof so it's hot when it's hot and cold when it's cold. On the way to the restrooms, there's more of a private seating area where they seat larger parties. Our server was actually the head bartender, Maxwell. He was awesome! He recommended great drinks for us and he gave a little background on the menu because this was our first time there. The pizza crust is made from 300 year old sourdough starter! It says it on their box so it must be true! But seriously, it's gut healthy. I didn't feel heavy after the meal. Our party hadn't eaten for about 7 hours so our eyes were incredibly hungry. We ended up ordering the burrata and the watermelon salad. Both of which were delectable. We also ordered the truffle cheesesteak to share between all four of us. It was good. I personally didn't taste the truffle in it, but overall the meat was tender and the provolone was oozing from the cheesesteak. The caramelized onions took it over the top for me. Then came our two pies. We chose the ones that had the little greater than signs on the menu. I was assuming that's what they were known for. Hot pepperoni and the prosciutto. Hot pepperoni was not too spicy, which I liked because when something is too spicy, all you taste is the spice. This gave a bit of kick, while maintaining the taste of the pepperoni. I think my favorite out of the two was the prosciutto. It had every flavor and texture that I was looking for. It was sweet from the balsamic, savory from the prosciutto, had a bit of bitterness and the crunch from the arugula. It was crunchy and soft at the same time lol. They have dipping sauces too, friends! Goat cheese fondue was my favorite. Planning to come here again to try their brunch menu, but only if Maxwell is working!

The crust had a good chew to it and the toppings were fresh, I've had this pizza in Dallas and was excited when it came to Ft. Worth. It was so good I strapped a pie to the motorcycle and brought some home to my husband.. surprisingly it made it.. lolol

Serious Pizza... more like SERIOUSLY SLOW…read more We walked in around 6:10pm on a Wednesday and it was pretty dead, so we thought easy win. We came specifically because they offer both vegan and non vegan options which is perfect for us. We were told 35 minutes. Fine. An hour later we are starving after a run in the heat and still no food. I check in and get told 12 more minutes. Breadsticks come out for my husband. Still no pizza. At this point the place starts filling up and you can see smaller orders come out like one slice pizza orders , while ours is nowhere in sight. After waiting even longer, I ask again. The cashier says 5 minutes, but the cook makes it obvious our order has not even been started. It felt like orders were being made at random, not in order, like the guy was making whatever he felt like . We finally got our food at 8:00pm. Yes, almost two hours later for one pizza and breadsticks. We ordered an 18 inch half vegan half deluxe and breadsticks, about $40. Add another $6.60 for parking, which is a mess by the way. By the time we got the food we were so over it we didn't even take a photo. Pizza was meh . I appreciate having vegan options, but I also appreciate a place that can manage a basic dinner service & train staff properly. The bathrooms were dirty, the tables were sticky, even the table number was sticky. Not a great look. This was a frustrating experience from start to finish and unfortunately not somewhere we would come back to. One star is generous. The scratcher coupons we were given to try to remedy are laughable !

You get close to angelo's and you must be doing something right. The bread was crisp and tender. Steak was rich and melted into the cheese matrix. If you have had cooper sharp, it's like American cheese and cheddar combined. When cooked properly with fried onions, it's make a cheese sauce that is unmistakably philly. This was getting close to the real deal, but feel short overall. The north shore roast beef was a find! The sando was stacked thick with meat. I didn't really like the bbq sauce, but that is what a north shore is like for sure. The owner of this place and I would be great friends with things like this on the menu. When I took my first bite, it was immediately obvious the pizza was not fresh. The cheese wasn't hot or melty like a freshly made pizza should be. Instead, it appears they used pre-made slices that were already sitting out and combined them to make a 14" pizza. I did not receive a fresh pie--just reheated, old slices passed off as a new pizza. That's unacceptable, especially at this price point. If a customer orders a fresh large pizza, it should actually be made fresh, not assembled from leftover slices and warmed up. Very disappointed and I will not be returning to this location. Customers should be aware that ordering a "fresh" pizza here may result in exactly what I experienced--a rip-off.
