Long time fan of the Italian spot on the main drag in Azle. Fairly cozy with a couple of side rooms and even a patio outside. They have a takeout area and a bar also. A few televisions hang on the walls with the volume turned off. The service is pretty good here and the food quality is great. I got the philly cheesesteak with a side of marinara for dipping! The veggies were fresh and tasty and I really appreciated that the fries were cooked perfectly! read more

One of the few restaurants open in this town on Mondays. My family's go to favorites are the Alfredo sauce, shrimp scampi, chicken Marsala, and my personal favorite, the spaghetti with meat sauce. Tonight, almost everyone eating around us had pizza, it must be amazing :-). Nice outdoor patio is the best place to enjoy the weather with coverage, fans, and heaters for all occasions. read more

Pizza was very good, my wife loved her salad. We had multiple servers. 2 were very nice, but 1 was unfriendly and would cause me to not return if the other two weren't so good. Overall it was solid. I really like the way the place is set up with a separate entrance to the bar and a nice outside eating area read more

Been twice while visiting family. The food and service have been outstanding. The fresh bread and the olive oil starter is sooo good. My wife and mother love anything with the "pink sauce." Chicken Verdure was fresh and very light, not a heavy taste. My parents love the stuffed mushrooms with the pink sauce as well. I haven't had the pizza but it's my mom and dad's go to order when we've visited. Great for kids as they love the chicken Alfredo. The restaurant is clean and the drinks have been strong and well made also. I definitely recommend checking them out if you're in town. I was surprised by the difference in review score between Google and yelp so I had to leave a great review for this place as it deserves it. read more

This is a local restaurant and I believe it has changed ownership in the recent years. Anyway, this was our first visit and we decided to grab lunch here with friends. We sat in the bar area, I think they have a separate dining room, but since it was on the early side of the night, the bar worked fine. As I mentioned, I think it has new ownership and the bar area looked like it had been refreshed. Very nice and clean, overall a welcoming place to have a meal. Service was quick and friendly. Our server took good care of us and made sure we had what we needed. Food was good overall. My only ding, and admittedly it is a pet peeve, is that the spaghetti that came with my chicken parmigiana had a bunch of water on the plate. It happens in a lot of places and it is too bad because it can easily be taken care of. Toss the pasta in a little sauce, don't just grab it out of the pot... Not a big deal, but it hurts the overall meal. Still, it was a nice first visit and we will be back. read more

The service was amazing! We came in skeptical because of other reviews but our waitress was so kind and giving us the best customer experience I think I've ever had she spoke so kindly about how she loved working in place that feels like family it makes it easy to work here ! The bread is made fresh by hand so it's so delicious! The food was delightful as well ! My son loved this place so much he wants to come back for his birthday! The inside was so surprising nice I'd love to bring my family that visits here ! We will be back hungry for more shout out to your waitress Bri she was amazing!! read more

I'm driving through town, and frankly, this looked like the cleanest restaurant to stop! The interior of the restaurant is very nice and clean, the service was exceptional, and the food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend eating at Italiano's Capriccio! read more

Was expecting more. Bread was almost stale. Spaghetti was made by a 8 yearold. Vodka pasta is HARD

First time- did door dash, food came hot and fresh! However, the food did not taste good. The marinara is bland and thin, meat/ricotta mixture in the cannelloni tasted off (cheap beef maybe? Also had lots of the little rubbery beef bits). There were 3 cannellonis SWIMMING in sauce. I do not think it was worth the price for the amount of food and definitely not for the flavor. The bread was warm but still managed to be super hard. Perhaps another dish there would be good, but will not be getting anything with marinara and definitely not the cannelloni ever again due to it being the worst cannelloni I've ever experienced in my life. read more

Pro tip: order your pizza with light/easy on the sauce. It comes out wonderful every time!! I'm originally from New York and as most know my home state is known for its great pizza. Capriccio may not be New York pizza but it's the best I've taste in all the places I've tried here in Texas since moving here 5 years ago. I have also experienced great customer service here and the ambience is quite relaxing. You'll thank me lately when you order their pizza like I recommend! read more

I come to this restaurant often while waiting for my son to get out of soccer at the high school next door , or just on the weekends. #1 everything I have tried is DELICIOUS. And im a foodie so thats saying a lotttt. #2- have never had a bad interaction with any staff member ever at the restaurant . They are always kind, helpful and caring . Last time i went a super sweet lady accidentally spilled her drink next to me , she ran out completely embarrassed , I tried to reassure her but sometimes it doesn't matter and people just get embarrassed. The staff cleaned up the mess, offered me a new plate and were incredibly sad she left because not one single person got mad. Anyways, nice staff, great food, and wonderful atmosphere. Great job guys! read more

Place looks like a small pub inside. A place I would order from again for food but more of a small dark pub environment. Excellent Italian food and was impressed. That written, not a family atmosphere and they could make a lot more money if they brightened it up in the day and catered/advertised to families as they do have great Italian food that's up there in quality. Pricing to high especially for pub atmosphere so probably losing on order that could be for pub goers. Drop price a few points, lighten up and be a family go to place until evening and they would be rocket it. Order take out and you are good. Pub day or night you are good. Too bad, excellent food but so much profit lost on this place that they could capitalize on in this small young city. read more

We used Capriccio to cater a family event. We ordered 60 total sandwiches that included chicken parmesan, Philly cheesesteak, meatball, and Italian. The sandwiches were large and very delicious. The price was also very reasonable, and the order was prepared on time without any errors. I highly recommend Capriccio and would use them again. read more

I have been to this restaurant a couple of times in the past couple of years and wished I hadn't stopped today. I ordered a house salad with blackened chicken. The salad was a bowl of iceberg lettuce that was mostly white and from the core. It was sprinkled with soggy cheese and diced tomatoes that were not ripe and pale in color. The "blackened" chicken was seasoned with something that was not blackened seasoning and was extremely salty (it was too well evenly coated to have been anything but from a prepared freezer bag from a food wholesaler). When the salad bowl was placed in front of me, it appeared more of a pasta dish because of how much the lettuce was yellow and white instead of containing anything remotely green. Once I made a complaint about the lettuce and stated I'd be happy to pay for the chicken but not the lettuce, the manager came out carrying a bowl of the same lettuce and tried to argue with me about that's what they served and if I didn't like iceberg lettuce not to order it. I told her the Menu should state its iceberg lettuce (even though it was primarily the core of the iceberg head) and that I would be happy to pay for the protein. She continued to be defensive instead of just providing an alternate or volunteering to take it off the check (I had not eaten any of the lettuce). The bread is no longer the same garlicky rolls (now dry and larger crescent shaped loafs) that I once enjoyed and the marinara sauce is not the fresh tasting sauce, but a tangy metallic tasting imposter. The server did a good job, but overall, there are far superior "Italian" restaurants out there to spend your good money on. I didn't mention the pasta because I didn't order it today, but I have in the past and was not impressed! Keep driving to better destinations for a happier dining experience! read more

Second time here. Went about a year ago. Kids like it and was recommended by one of my teenagers friends. Didn't leave a review last time and should have. Service was good. Server was good. Food was terrible. Son got the margarita pizza. Dough was rather flavorless. Tomatoes on top were pale red (likely over cooked or not ripe. Basil was not fresh and was cooked nearly to a crisp. I recommended to my . son saying "you will love it" hoping he'd be a bit more adventurous with his eating. I was wrong, it was bad. Wife got the three pasta sampler. It came in one bowl and didn't look likkee three different things. Looked like some noodles, ricotta all drenched in red sauce. It was flavorless. Just tasted like a can of tomatoes. She ate three bites. I had the chicken verdure. Have had it before elsewhere, liked it very much.. noodles were done well, but menu said "light garlic olive oil and it was dripping in olive oil. Probably 2-3 oz of olive oil at the bottom of my normal sized portioned bowl. Forking my food to the side to eat off the top part that was drained aa bit better, it had zero flavor. I added salt, pepper but it really juustst didn't help. We had 9 other teenage girls with us, they all seemed content or polite and mostly were just happy and being silly. If I could did give zero stars I would. This is not very good Italian food. Perhaps Azle Texas just doesn't know any better. I'll never go back. $400+, only thing good was the bread rolls. The first experience was actually way worse as the owner argued with me over my egg battered veal was supposed to be soggy and the menu had a mistake when it said "battered." read more

As of Spring 2022, this is probably the best dining establishment in Azle. We arrived just before 7pm on a Friday night and expected it to be busy. It was, but surprisingly we were seated quickly. We were greeted by a host, a manager said hi to us and quickly took drink orders. Our server came by shortly after and we ordered the garlic tomato bread to start. Do not skip the rolls and garlic bread, they are both amazing options!!! For dinner, we shared a medium chicken Alfredo pizza, as it was listed as a specialty, and a chicken parmigiana. Both we're really good. The crust on this pizza was very smooth, I enjoyed it a lot. Wish the pizza had more sauce, but that's my personal preference. The chicken parmigiana was cooked perfectly and was not tough. Very delicious and I'd highly recommend. The only complaint I can think of was we had to ask for refills one time, but every employee was clearly running around the restaurant doing something, so they get a pass on being a busy Friday night. The restaurant was very clean, every employee seemed to be contributing to something, the service was fast despite being a busy Friday night.... I'm impressed. Many other restaurants cannot currently serve up this level of quality, definitely worth giving Italiano Capriccio a try! read more

Very nice inside atmosphere. Very clean and modern. Waitress was adorable. The bread was the best. We had chicken verdue which was very good. Out for a later dinner with my better half and wanted to give this a try. The reviews looked good. We went in an hour before kitchen was closing and it was pretty late. Samantha B. greeted us and was super nice. She got our drink order quick and brought us some bread. Samantha was also helpful with our menu choices. I opted for the Chicken Verdue since it looked lighter with no heavy sauce and veggies on it. My wife's go to is always chicken parmigiana. Our dinner salads came out and were ok. Nothing to write home about. Then our entrees came out. Mine was absolutely scrumptious! Light and full of flavor. My wife loved hers and I tried it. Just not a fan of heavy sauces. All this and reasonably good prices. read more

Our daughter recommended we try this place, so we made the short drive from Fort Worth for a Valentine's day dinner. There was a 30 minute wait for the main dining room but none for the bar so we seated ourselves at an open booth. We started our meal with cheese sticks and marinara sauce. Sticks and sauce were good. Entrees were cannelloni and spaghetti with meat sauce. Both arrived hot and they were very good. I like that they use thin spaghetti noodles. Sauce is savory with a hint of sweetness we both enjoyed. Portions are ample and prices are great for Italian food. We both took home leftovers. Service was good considering they are short staffed, and we appreciated that our server told us from the start to be patient. Owner was there too, doing whatever was needed. Bar area is large and has lots of televisions so it has a definite sports bar vibe but was not too loud. We recommend and will return to try other menu items. read more

We haven't ordered from Capriccio's in a while because it was too expensive for the quality of food we had been receiving. Decided to try it again over the weekend. We ordered a pizza and it was worse than any fast food pizza we've had to date. The dough was horrible. It didn't appear to be mixed properly and wasn't cooked all the way through. Someone used tons of garlic powder to the point it was bitter. We threw away all but the two pieces we originally tried. Waste of money and will not make the mistake again. read more

Another nice dinner for two here and we loved the ambiance. The menu had many great dishes to choose from to satisfy anyone. The bread was delicious, and our food came out in a timely manner. The food is consistently good. They did change hands not long ago and the one thing they can't get right is the Alfredo sauce. It use to be amazing. Their drinks are a bit to pricy especially being in Azle. You can eat here and have drinks else where, it's worth it. read more
