Long time fan of the Italian spot on the main drag in Azle. Fairly cozy with a couple of side rooms and even a patio outside. They have a takeout area and a bar also. A few televisions hang on the walls with the volume turned off. The service is pretty good here and the food quality is great. I got the philly cheesesteak with a side of marinara for dipping! One of the few restaurants open in this town on Mondays. My family's go to favorites are the Alfredo sauce, shrimp scampi, chicken Marsala, and my personal favorite, the spaghetti with meat sauce. This is a local restaurant and I believe it has changed ownership in the recent years. Anyway, this was our first visit and we decided to grab lunch here with friends. We sat in the bar area, I think they have a separate dining room, but since it was on the early side of the night, the bar worked fine. As I mentioned, I think it has new ownership and the bar area looked like it had been refreshed. Very nice and clean, overall a welcoming place to have a meal. Service was quick and friendly. Our server took good care of us and made sure we had what we needed. Food was good overall. My only ding, and admittedly it is a pet peeve, is that the spaghetti that came with my chicken parmigiana had a bunch of water on the plate. It happens in a lot of places and it is too bad because it can easily be taken care of. Toss the pasta in a little sauce, don't just grab it out of the pot... I come to this restaurant often while waiting for my son to get out of soccer at the high school next door , or just on the weekends. #1 everything I have tried is DELICIOUS. And im a foodie so thats saying a lotttt. #2- have never had a bad interaction with any staff member ever at the restaurant . They are always kind, helpful and caring . Last time i went a super sweet lady accidentally spilled her drink next to me , she ran out completely embarrassed , I tried to reassure her but sometimes it doesn't matter and people just get embarrassed. The staff cleaned up the mess, offered me a new plate and were incredibly sad she left because not one single person got mad. Anyways, nice staff, great food, and wonderful atmosphere. First time- did door dash, food came hot and fresh! However, the food did not taste good. The marinara is bland and thin, meat/ricotta mixture in the cannelloni tasted off (cheap beef maybe? Also had lots of the little rubbery beef bits). There were 3 cannellonis SWIMMING in sauce. I do not think it was worth the price for the amount of food and definitely not for the flavor. The bread was warm but still managed to be super hard. Pro tip: order your pizza with light/easy on the sauce. It comes out wonderful every time!! I'm originally from New York and as most know my home state is known for its great pizza. Capriccio may not be New York pizza but it's the best I've taste in all the places I've tried here in Texas since moving here 5 years ago. I have been to this restaurant a couple of times in the past couple of years and wished I hadn't stopped today. I ordered a house salad with blackened chicken. The salad was a bowl of iceberg lettuce that was mostly white and from the core. It was sprinkled with soggy cheese and diced tomatoes that were not ripe and pale in color. The "blackened" chicken was seasoned with something that was not blackened seasoning and was extremely salty (it was too well evenly coated to have been anything but from a prepared freezer bag from a food wholesaler). When the salad bowl was placed in front of me, it appeared more of a pasta dish because of how much the lettuce was yellow and white instead of containing anything remotely green. Once I made a complaint about the lettuce and stated I'd be happy to pay for the chicken but not the lettuce, the manager came out carrying a bowl of the same lettuce and tried to argue with me about that's what they served and if I didn't like iceberg lettuce not to order it. I told her the Menu should state its iceberg lettuce (even though it was primarily the core of the iceberg head) and that I would be happy to pay for the protein. She continued to be defensive instead of just providing an alternate or volunteering to take it off the check (I had not eaten any of the lettuce). The bread is no longer the same garlicky rolls (now dry and larger crescent shaped loafs) that I once enjoyed and the marinara sauce is not the fresh tasting sauce, but a tangy metallic tasting imposter. The server did a good job, but overall, there are far superior "Italian" restaurants out there to spend your good money on. I didn't mention the pasta because I didn't order it today, but I have in the past and was not impressed! Keep driving to better destinations for a happier dining experience! read more

We used Capriccio to cater a family event. We ordered 60 total sandwiches that included chicken parmesan, Philly cheesesteak, meatball, and Italian. The sandwiches were large and very delicious. Second time here. Went about a year ago. Kids like it and was recommended by one of my teenagers friends. Didn't leave a review last time and should have. Service was good. Server was good. Food was terrible. Son got the margarita pizza. Dough was rather flavorless. Tomatoes on top were pale red (likely over cooked or not ripe. Basil was not fresh and was cooked nearly to a crisp. I recommended to my . son saying "you will love it" hoping he'd be a bit more adventurous with his eating. I was wrong, it was bad. Wife got the three pasta sampler. It came in one bowl and didn't look likkee three different things. Looked like some noodles, ricotta all drenched in red sauce. It was flavorless. Just tasted like a can of tomatoes. She ate three bites. I had the chicken verdure. Have had it before elsewhere, liked it very much.. noodles were done well, but menu said "light garlic olive oil and it was dripping in olive oil. Probably 2-3 oz of olive oil at the bottom of my normal sized portioned bowl. Forking my food to the side to eat off the top part that was drained aa bit better, it had zero flavor. I added salt, pepper but it really juustst didn't help. We had 9 other teenage girls with us, they all seemed content or polite and mostly were just happy and being silly. If I could did give zero stars I would. This is not very good Italian food. Perhaps Azle Texas just doesn't know any better. I'll never go back. $400+, only thing good was the bread rolls. The first experience was actually way worse as the owner argued with me over my egg battered veal was supposed to be soggy and the menu had a mistake when it said "battered." read more

As of Spring 2022, this is probably the best dining establishment in Azle. We arrived just before 7pm on a Friday night and expected it to be busy. It was, but surprisingly we were seated quickly. We were greeted by a host, a manager said hi to us and quickly took drink orders. Our server came by shortly after and we ordered the garlic tomato bread to start. Do not skip the rolls and garlic bread, they are both amazing options!!! For dinner, we shared a medium chicken Alfredo pizza, as it was listed as a specialty, and a chicken parmigiana. Both we're really good. The crust on this pizza was very smooth, I enjoyed it a lot. Wish the pizza had more sauce, but that's my personal preference. The chicken parmigiana was cooked perfectly and was not tough. Very delicious and I'd highly recommend. The only complaint I can think of was we had to ask for refills one time, but every employee was clearly running around the restaurant doing something, so they get a pass on being a busy Friday night. The restaurant was very clean, every employee seemed to be contributing to something, the service was fast despite being a busy Friday night.... I'm impressed. Our daughter recommended we try this place, so we made the short drive from Fort Worth for a Valentine's day dinner. There was a 30 minute wait for the main dining room but none for the bar so we seated ourselves at an open booth. We started our meal with cheese sticks and marinara sauce. Sticks and sauce were good. Entrees were cannelloni and spaghetti with meat sauce. Both arrived hot and they were very good. I like that they use thin spaghetti noodles. Sauce is savory with a hint of sweetness we both enjoyed. Portions are ample and prices are great for Italian food. We both took home leftovers. Service was good considering they are short staffed, and we appreciated that our server told us from the start to be patient. Owner was there too, doing whatever was needed. Bar area is large and has lots of televisions so it has a definite sports bar vibe but was not too loud. We recommend and will return to try other menu items. read more

Nice staff and owner but they took the old CHEERS restaurant and ruined the feel, not to mention the bread and the pizza, it's not better, the $ savings was not worth the change.
