Stopped in at Palio's for lunch and it did not disappoint! I ordered the kids ziti with meat sauce, and it was absolutely delicious!! It was full of flavor, served piping hot, and so fresh. The service was friendly and quick, and the whole experience was just great from start to finish. Definitely a go-to lunch spot! read more

Palio's Pizza cafe - Kids Ziti with Meat sauce - Pizza Near Me - Azle, Texas

Usually I order my weekly pizza from Mr. Jim's. I decided to give Palio's a try... but a $10 delivery fee is wild for an additional .2 miles (5 miles delivery radius). Not servicing one of largest and fastest growing communities (Vintage Oaks), in your immediate area, may need some reconsideration. Looks like Mr. Jim's will continue to receive not only my pizza orders, but most of the communities. I'm not going to give 1 star because I feel that isn't fair, seeing as how I didn't try the pizza. But on the principle that the manager wouldn't consider an additional 10 seconds of drive time to land a forever consumer is disappointing. read more

We went as a church group and they treat us very good. The food is always good. I would recommend them . Try it you you'll like it!

I've been ordering from Palio's at least once a month for the last 5 years. The quality never disappoints and I always look forward to the next excuse I have to justify my next purchase. The don't know where they get the recipe for thier food but every thing is simply divine, I'm prompted to review them today, (which is long overdue) because David went above and beyond. I placed a late order (my bad! I know!!) and they were out of something (totally understandable). They told me unfortunately they couldn't fulfill the order. We sadly moved on with our lives only to be pleasantly surprised to a knock on our door 15 min after Palio's closed. It was Dave, who felt bad and made our order work somehow. Blown away, that is not something you get from a typical brand pizza place but from a local branch of local people. read more

After DoorDash failed to deliver our order, Palio's went above and beyond to make it right. They didn't hesitate to remake the pizzas and deliver them to us themselves (out of their normal delivery area) to ensure we got our food hot and fresh. The customer service was incredible, genuinely kind, quick to respond, and cared about our experience. And of course, the pizza was delicious (worth the wait!). read more

If you're not a cauliflower crust pizza master yourself, this place is a winner - great pizza! The decor's on point too. Only bummer is it doesn't seem to be super popular, probably because it's tucked away in a shopping center. Guess it's a hidden gem! And bonus: the manager and staff are friendly and helpful. read more

The food is terrific, the turtle cheesecake is to die for. The pizza is always fresh we are always down to grab some Palio's!

I've only been to Palio's twice in Azle. The ordering process is a little awkward. You order at the counter, then are seated and served. They have menus so I'm not sure why they don't just take your order at the table. Either way it's fine, but it would be a little nicer experience for them to come to the table and take your order. We stopped in for lunch on a weekday in the little shopping center where Palio's is located. The girl at the counter was really nice and explained how things work and told us to just take our time and let her know when we were ready to order. We order our food and paid and then sat down. It wasn't very long until we got our drinks. Shortly after that our food was ready. My meal came with a small Greek salad complete with sun-dried tomatoes! Very tasty! I ordered a Gyro with chips and I really enjoyed it. We ordered a meatball sub to go later when we ate it we were surprised how good it was. read more

Pizza has always been amazing every time I've ordered and the prices were great. I'd recommend if looking for good pizza.

The pizza at Palio's is just like I like it. Thin crust, slightly burnt edges. Full selection of toppings. We will have to make a point of eating there once a week since they just didn't seem busy enough around 5 on a Saturday and we want them to stay in business. We have had pizza, salads (very good) cheesy garlic bread, lasagna and spaghetti and meatballs. It was all good portions and very tasty. It is true it is not decorated much, but our favorite pizza forty years ago was Big Eds in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and decorations don't make the pizza better! Check that place out if you're ever there. The folks serving us at Palio's were all real nice on both our visits. It is so convenient to us. Just hop on the 199 and get off in Azle at the Stuart exit. The restaurant is on the right corner at the first light on Main, along with a fitness center and yogurt place. Palio's is called a pizza cafe but it has a lot of Italian dishes too if you want more than pizza. The prices were good, and we know prices. We eat at Cracker Barrel, Cheddars, Outback, Spring Creek, In N Out Burger, Westside Cafe, BJ's (gotten pricey!), Taste of Asia at Bryant Irvin, and on Clifford Street, the new breakfast/lunch place, Eggsquisite Cafe. Next time we will get photos of our food at Palio's! read more

Neighborhood pizza spot that offers a massive amount of options, any kind of sauce you want, gluten free offerings, and the restaurant is BYOB. Now onto the bad... It ran us just shy of $60 for 2 pies, one of them had to be gluten free so I understand that naturally it's going to be more expensive. The price is just not justifiable at all for conveyor belt pizza. The gluten free pizza was just sad really. It was pizza mush and was completely soggy. We took it to go 8 minutes down the road back to the house and even put it in the oven for a little bit when we got back, so the drive home was not the culprit. I think the folks there are really nice and very friendly, but the food, for the price especially, just does not deliver the way you would expect... read more

We decided to visit Palio's Pizza Cafe again because their food was very delicious the last two times we've had it -- well, things have changed. We ordered two pizzas, each with different toppings. It's not the toppings that were bad -- it was the pizza crust that wasn't great. Everything was fresh, which is something Palio's Pizza Cafe is known for; however, their crust wasn't the best. The crust was difficult to bite down on, making the experience a bad one. We had to cut off most or all of the surrounding crust to make it bearable. Aside from this, the pizza was good albeit we weren't able to eat a good portion of the pizza. read more

Ordered dinner from Palio's because I wanted to get away from the standard chains like Pizza Hut and Dominos. I have been to a Palio's before (Frisco, TX), but it had been several years. We ordered the classic pizza and Greek bread via Door Dash. It was delivered in about 30 mins and our order arrived on time and we got exactly what was ordered. The pizza was pretty good, but the Greek bread is really what caught my attention. It was delicious. One thing I did notice is that they don't have a very good Health / Safety score listed on Yelp, which is a little concerning. It states things like food being left out, office supplies above the food prep line, manager needing safety training, etc.. I'd like to continue ordering from here in the future as I enjoyed the food, but they need to fix their health / safety rating. read more

We order here all the time and do take out... but I just ordered delivery and the food was all messed up. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch and there were tons of bits of ham in it. Looked and tasted like dog food. Is this supposed to look like this?? We also ordered a chicken tender kids meal with fries and y'all added chips instead. Annoyed. read more

I have to say we were there 10 minutes before they opened and the door was open but they wouldn't serve us. We waited until open time after several people went in and were served before the actual open time. I was excited to try the salad. What a disappointment. It was more like soup and totally inedible. The pizza was ok. It was not clean inside. The napkin holder my husband had to fix to even be able to get napkins as nothing was brought to our table. Overall I only have 2 stars because my husband said he liked the pizza. read more

First time at Palio's in Azle. We had the cauliflower pepperoni pizza and it was delicious. The pepperoni was crispy but not too spicy and crust was one of the best I've had. Staff is pleasant and the food is hot. Definitely will be back when we are in the area. read more

I've never dined in, but the food has always been delicious and on time when we pick up!

I ordered the King pizza because I had seen someone posted that Palio's had the best pizza. When I got home to eat it I wasn't impressed. I won't be driving to Azle again for pizza. The turtle cheesecake was pretty good though. read more

I wanted a pizza that was a little bit fancier, and a little bit more gourmet than like... Dominos. So we ordered Palio's for takeout. Simply put, I would have rather had a Dominos. It wasn't bad per say, it just wasn't that good and it didn't hit the way you want a pizza to hit- ya know? A large and a small for $28... and they seemed to be the smallest smalls and larges around? Anyways, I can't really put my finger on why I didn't love this place, but next time I'll just go to Dominos. read more

Their service sucks!! They made me wait 20 minutes after my pickup time just for the employee to be neglectful and forget about my order

So good every time we've been! Clean inside. Best cheesecake I've ever had! Service is ok, lots of young people there.

Newer spot here in Azle. I have had a few different dinners here and I think their pizza is their best item. A little higher priced than the other pizza spots but worth it. I wish their delivery area included our development but we are 0.5 miles outside of the 5 mile radius. read more

Great service and yummy food. We haven't eaten in and taken out and had a great experience each time. Thank you, Palio's!

I ordered a Greek pizza and two tiramisus last night at around 630pm and one tiramisu was covered in mold. Had to throw away everything because I was too grossed out to eat anything. This was only the second coming here. All the employees in the store were not properly wearing masks according to the CDC Guidelines. Literally only one out of at least 8 employees that I saw was wearing her mask properly. One of the cashiers didn't even have a mask on AT ALL. They also allowed 2 guests to be in the store waiting for food without a mask. I had ordered my food online otherwise I would had left and cancelled my order. read more

Update: I gave them a second chance on my birthday, ordered a King pizza, 2 salads and Tiramisu as my birthday cake. Driver got lost, then gave me the wrong order- luckily she had my order in her back seat but it was missing the Tiramisu. She didn't know what to do, I told her to come back with it but she never did, now we're out $14 + tax on wings we couldn't eat and cake we never got! It's really too bad because the food we did get was really good, just wish we didn't get ripped off. We are new in town and wanted pizza so we gave them a try. Food was delivered at the time promised and was piping hot! We ordered a King pizza pie, garlic wings, spaghetti with meatballs, and a Greek salad. The pie was fabulous as was the salad and spaghetti, however, we got hot buffalo wings instead of the garlic. When I called to let them know I got a recording that no mailbox was setup and was prompted to enter another subscriber number...needless to say we're out $10 for wings we can't eat (though I'm sure they were delicious to someone) I would have given them a higher score but I wasn't able to get my order corrected, perhaps if they respond and offer a credit for the mistake, and fix their phone issues I'll update my review read more
