We stumbled upon this place located on Main Street in Azle and it did not disappoint! The burger had a little spice to it but it was not overpowering the flavor. The Caesar wrap tasted fresh and was nicely packed with chicken. We tried the onion strings and those were very good on their own. We will definitely be back to try other menu items! The location is great for grabbing a quick bite. Come check them out! read more

The place is small and cute. The service is nice but we did wait about more than 20 minutes for our food to arrive but it was a bit busy when we came in. I ordered the red burger basket which comes with fries and drink. I did order the coleslaw which is not worth $3 for a tiny cup and it is not flavorful. The burger is delicious and I like how fresh the ingredients are. Fries are a bit soggy in my opinion. But I do appreciate the fries seasoned with granulated salt. read more

The best burgers!! Service is great! And comfortable ambiance, what you would expect from a burger place.

I love the burgers! They are always made fresh and service is always great. My husband states he had the best blt ever made at Red's.

Great place to stop! Good fries that aren't over cooked! Good flavor burger on a bun that had a little sweetness with it! Service was quick! Can't wait to stop here again! read more

An interesting little local spot. Food was well prepared and tasty. Will return the next time I'm in the area.

A good roadside burger joint with their own distinct burgers with a good crisp like a smash burger. We got the Reds burger basket each. Super friendly counter help and food runner. You order at the counter and they bring it out. We'll stop in again. The place is pure American dining. Metal topped booths. Well worn hardwood floor with a great patina. The place has a comfort to it. Like coming home. read more

Nice quaint, local joint. Very clean, friendly staff. Ordered a Junior float- a bit disappointed literally a 1/2 scoop of ice cream in a small plastic cup for $3.99. I was hoping this wasn't a representation of what was to come. Burgers did not disappoint. Very dense and flavorful. Cooked medium-well ish. Nice think substantial buns. Fresh cut fries were cooked perfectly. Good amount of fries served with the basket. All and all, very good food - just steer clear of the floats!! read more

Great burgers, clean tables, fast service, and clean high chairs for little ones! Loved it. Got a cheeseburger with lettuce and some sweet potato fries, perfect! The bun was soft and fresh, burger was a bit dark but tasted great nonetheless. read more

Fried Chicken Sandwich is my favorite. Don't skip the fries they are homemade delicious.

This is a cute little place. They really support the local schools. I've been here several times and tried to salads to burgers. Service is always good, the young people are cheerful and happy to help with any questions. The only reason I gave them a 4 was due to the visit last week, the burgers were really dry and didn't have the flavor they usually do. Maybe just an off day, I still recommend them and will go back! read more

I ordered a Cobb Salad for dinner tonight, it was 14 dollars for what looks like side salad (in size). The container was a side container (the same container they use for their chili cheese fries). After paying 14.00 plus tip (17 dollars total) you would think you're getting a dinner sized salad. read more

I'm always looking for a good burger. Driven by this place before but never gave it a second thought. That is until I searched for a good place to eat and relied on my fellow Yelpers. From the outside it looks like a small barn. Inside it's got the country ambience but you instantly know this is going to be a good experience. The dining room is family style with picnic table to meet your fellow diners. I ordered the Farmhouse burger that has a fried egg and bacon on it. Who couldn't pass up the cheese fries either. Your order at the counter and they nice girls bring it out to you. Some old fashioned service...I liked that. My burger and fries came and looked amazing. Now the picture makes the burger look small but I just have big hands. The bun seems to be homemade and loved the egg running down the side. My first bite was even more than I hoped for. Lots of flavor packed inside that patty. The fries were just as good. Some places put a little shredded cheese that covers about 1/3 of the fries. Not here. Every single fry had cheese melted all over it. Greasy but in a good way. This place goes on my return list. Enjoy! read more

The food was a 3/10. And the service was mid. If you are gonna charge 10 dollars for a burger at least make it worth.

Worth the stop! Fresh ingredients! Great burger and fries. Homemade house ranch dressing too. Staff is friendly and attentive. Put it on your list and enjoy this hidden gem in Azle. read more

I've been looking for a place that does a great burger for several years now (after my favorite joint closed), and I think I've found it. The Red's staff did an outstanding job following my specific requests (cheeseburger with bacon, sautéed onions, and barbecue sauce, no lettuce or tomato), and that burger was outstanding. We're definitely going back! read more

Great, local food! Everything we have had comes out fresh and hot. Even have veggie burgers!

This place used to be the best in Azle. After many soggy fries and dry burgers the wife and I stopped coming. We decided to try again. I tried the Twisted Oak. "We cook it to medium ". I am fine with that. Burger was well done. Fries are now various sizes, and not evenly cooked. I guess we will wait even longer next time. read more

The food was amazing the fact that you can get this fresh of food for the same price as fast food is astonishing. The service was awesome and made you feel like they were family!!! The homemade cookie was red velvet and by far way better than the big name crumbl. The milkshake was fantastic and fresh. Absolutely one of the best burger joints around. But the fact that they have a couple other none burger options is even better!! Fantastic sweet potato fries!!! read more

Have heard so much about Red's since we moved here. Finally was able to check it out and I give it two thumbs up! Friendly service, great portions, and pricing was decent. We ordered cheeseburger baskets and loved the flavor and freshness of the items. Red's has the cutest decor! I could feel the town pride just looking around the room. Red's was following COVID-19 guidelines by wearing masks and having every other table separated. They also offer curbside pickup. Looking forward to trying one of their specials in the future. I have been here twice and I am not impressed. People rave about it, but I can't understand why. The burgers are a little on the expensive side, and there isn't anything really that sets them apart. The menu has basic burger joint stuff with a few things that have interesting names but are really just things you would find in a lot of semi-upscale burger places. I came here today to get a cheeseburger. The counter person must have been new. She wasn't sure if they had onion rings or onion strings, but finally decided on the latter. I can't imagine a burger place without onion rings. I ordered a cheeseburger by itself, but she kept saying basket. I finally had to correct her tell her again I just wanted a burger. It was about 1:20 when It ordered. I finally got my food about 20 minutes later. The burger was bloody in the middle, so I sent it back. They sent out another one pretty quickly. I looked it over and it appeared to be what I ordered. I forgot they use those awful bread n butter pickles. I didn't remember all of the reasons I didn't like this place last time, but it all came back to me. They should warn a people if they are going do something like that. Yuck. The burger was greasy and it had not been seasoned at all during cooking. They toast the buns which I like, but it was barely toasted‍. I ate about half of it because I was hungry. Not my kind of place. read more

What a neat little place. Clearly a locals joint, and it seems to have been here a while! Nestled right on Main Street, I can see where parking can be a nightmare. My very favorite thing: Grass fed/ Grass Finished beef! Love this place for keeping GMO's, and chemicals out of my body! When I want a slab of beef and ALL the carbs... I DO NOT want excess corn by product in my meat! This alone would earn my business!! But they burgers are awesome! The options of toppings are killer, and you can seriously build a satisfying burger in this place! Simple people, simple ingredients very often make for 5 STARS! While this isn't white cloth... if you are after a very good burger, this is a great stop! read more

Order online picked up the burgers were burned and dry was not busy on a Saturday evening fries were good

It's been a few years since I last reviewed Red's on Main Street. In retrospect I feel I was harsh. Their burger was better than I remembered. But that was only after I had the Ruben a few times. The burger is worth going for. Tastes fresh ground. I'll admit ive been back a few times. Get the burger. Nothin fancy. It's good. read more

Great staff. The burgers are always good and the sweet potatoe fries are yummy. We enjoy supporting local and are never disappointed here.

My husband and I stumbled upon this hidden gem today and decided to give it a try. I'm so glad we did! We both had the Twisted Oak burger which comes with smoked gouda, garlic butter, provolone, caramelized onions and lettuce and mayo. The meat was locally sourced and grass fed and was cooked perfectly. The fries were seasoned with pepper and course sea salt. Slightly crispy! I absolutely recommend the house made ranch dressing as well. Excellent selection of craft beer including Community and Lakewood. Employees are very nice and attentive. We are in town for a week and will definitely be back. read more

Hamburgers are great, kids chicken chips are great and real chicken not minced up, yummy milk shakes but the fries are ok.

My total, including a two dollar tip for the to-go order, was just short of $20. That's quite a lot of money for a burger lunch. When I was ordering my burger, noting the high starting price, that the add-ons were $1.00, to $1.50 each, and considering the great reviews, I assumed I was going to at least get a generously sized burger, with generous, and/or exceptionally high quality, toppings. I ordered a medium rare hamburger with avocado, bacon, chilies, and onion strings, and a small fry. No drink. I got a well-done burger, with a piece and a half of decent, but not super great, bacon, and a few very thin slices of avocado, no onion strings, and a few chili peppers. When I opened the burger, I moved a bit of the avocado aside, to see if I was missing some onion strings, but aside from that, this is exactly how it fell. The person who put this burger together obviously did not GAF. Not even a small one. The fry box was not even full. On the positive side, the bun, which outsized the overcooked burger, was really good. The fries were also very good. If there had been more toppings, they would've been good, but it was a very stingy situation for the price, and I did not even get all the toppings I paid for. The avocado was ripe. The bacon was... Well, it was bacon. It's got to be pretty ***tty bacon for me to call it bad bacon. ;) read more

Went in last night and ordered a Philly and Fries for dine in. 32 mins. later I still didn't have my order. I asked a staff person about my order and they responded to me with "I don't cook the food!" I continued to wait and then here the person came with just the Philly and no Fries. I asked, "What about the Fries?" Again, a rude reply. So, I said, "I want my money back, as it has been over 30 mins," and then she went off on me. I went back up to the register, where there was a very nice and friendly girl who I think credited back my credit card. Guess I will watch my bank statement and see. That nice girl had to tell the girl who was so not nice to "Stop!," responding to me as she was. I left and went elsewhere for dinner. Me and my family have dined at Red's many, many times, but we will not be returning. And to the person who was so rude, you should find work outside of the hospitality industry. read more

Not crazy about the burgers. I feel that they use too many seasonings causing the burgers to be extra salty.
