Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken

Prima was good for our first time. The prices are certainly great! Nothing is over the top in terms of flavor, but nothing was terrible. We will definitely be back to try some more items. The staff was friendly, but service was a bit slow. However, I did appreciate the Italian style murals on the wall.

Such a cute family oriented Italian restaurant, super friendly staff and reasonably priced food. Great portions packed with flavor. BYOB, self seating *Great Place to sit large parties*

Ravioli

The consistency keeps us hooked. I always love coming back to Prima's especially with family. Our all time favorites: the lasagna, zuppa di mare, minestrone soup, fagoli soup, eggplant parmigiana, chicken fettuccine alfredo, shrimp diablo, pizza, raviolis, and spaghetti & meatballs. It's all about that tomato sauce! And the fresh baked bread doesn't hurt either I would say, other than the very authentic tasting sauce, the spaghetti itself is always cooked perfectly and is very addicting and I am always blown away by the shrimp, big and delicious! This time my parents and I came by on a whim and on a slower Thursday night. Despite the quiet atmosphere and lack of filled seats, the food was still hot and service is always delightful. We like our food spicy and they had no problem making our zuppa di mare and minestrone soup spicy. I personally tried everything (sharing is caring!) and loved it all. It was my first time having their raviolis and I can attest that anything served in that little lasagna dish is made better by it for some reason, so yummy! Can't wait to try more from their menu :)

I stumbled on this place bc of sole fabulous reviews that I saw online. It did not disappoint! I got the kids ravioli to go and it was sooooo fresh and delicious. I cannot wait to go back and try other things. The ambiance is quaint and byob. The owner came out and spoke to me and their service was excellent! I did read Billy Bob Thornton was just there which is cool. Definitely try this place!

Your my little secret and that's how I kept it lol! Cuisine of the year is Italian, Italian restaurant of the year goes to Prima's Pizza & Pasta. Located just off Hulen south of the mall, you'll find Prima's tucked away in a small shopping center. Dimly lite on the outside yet inside the flavors and atmosphere are as colorful as can be. Family owned, Prima's dawn a warm atmosphere often filled with families enjoying great meals. The usual service staff is on hand making return visits feel like home. Prima's menu is pretty extensive though my go-to item is the Lobster Ravioli which is accented with a few shrimps. The pink sauce used on the dish is a creamy based tomato sauce, yet not overpowering but rich in flavor. Other items I've enjoyed have been the stuffed mushroom appetizer, manicotti shells .. & the BYOB! Prima's is definitely a spot to try in the southwest FW area. Be warned Sunday's at Prim's means a pack housed for all the right reasons. Job well done Prima's

My new favorite local pizza place! I love how I can BYOB my favorite beer and get some amazing neopolitan pizza from a great staff! Family friendly and seems like they know how to handle large groups. My wife also likes how they have a range of options that are good for her to eat while pregnant and having to watch her blood sugar.

This lil hidden spot was pretty good. The pizza was great, the ceaser salad was good, mozzarella sticks and knotts were amazing. I had the chicken Marsala, the serving was huge! Restaurant has many tables, we just sat on our own and a server came to assist us. The Service was pretty fast compared to other places. I will be returning and totally recommend.

We parked at street parking across the restaurant without issue. Inside, we were promptly seated. The inside is nice and dim with an open kitchen. We started the night off with the Fondue. The rosemary buffs were delicious and the perfect vehicle for the two different dips - goat cheese fondue and pecan pepper jam. I really enjoyed the goat cheese. It was nice and hearty, pairing very well with the bread. The pepper jam added a sweet touch but I'm more a savory person so I was more than content with the cheese itself. My mom got the papparadelle and bolognese while I got the sausage pizza. The papparadelle was nice and al dente. It paired well with the bolognese sauce. However, I felt it was warm when it came out so it got cold quickly. The sausage pizza was delicious! The star of the pie were easily the carmelized onions - added such a perfect level of sweetness that it really elevated the whole dish. The crust also went well with the cheese from the fondue. At this point in the evening, we were feeling pretty full. Nonetheless, our waiter, Seamus, knew it was my mom's birthday. With that in mind, he treated us to the donuts. They came with chocolate sauce and strawberry jam. Both were good. I personally preferred the chocolate since that's what I usually lean more towards. We thought it was such a nice gesture. The night was that much more special because of Seamus. Overall, althrough everything wasn't perfect (not that it should have been), the work and effort was clearly there. Looking forward to coming back again one day.

As a resident on Magnolia, we're fortunate to have many great restaurants to support. Cane Rosso…read morewas no exception. My parents were in town and we decided to come here for my birthday in fact. Usually, we would have walked. Though it was pretty cold outside. There's a small lot that's right at the entrance (or back) of the restaurant. However, in the likely case that it's full, there's a spacious lot that's nearby next to the parking garage as well. Inside, we were quickly seated. Our waitress brought out our drinks promptly. We knew what we wanted so we ordered then and there as well. For appetizers, we got the Artichokes Classique. I'm not the biggest artichokes fan. I may or may not have been trying to convince my parents that I have a sophisticated adult palate and this looked like it would do the job. The artichokes were lightly fried with a crispy exterior. They retained their earthy, taste. Paired well with the slightly spicy, garlicky calabrian chile aioli. My dad got the Chicken Parm Sandwich. It was nice and meaty - solid chicken parm! What really stood out, in my opinion, was the side caesar salad. They used whole gem lettuce as opposed to romaine which I felt offered a better texture, presentation, and helped with the dressing distribution. My mom, or rather all of us, got the Chorizo y Miele which was their pizza of the month for Feburary. Without a doubt, it was one of the many highlights of this night. It's a sweet-spicy pizza with rich, salty sausage accented by an appropriate amount of habanero honey drizzle. I had never had sweety drop peppers but it was such a nice addition in terms of presentation for the month of February, texture with the slight cruchiness of the whole pepper, and flavor with the slight spice. Last but not least, the texture of the pizza was phenomenal. The crust had that nice smokey flavor - perfect base for all of the ingredients on top. Finally, I got the Truffle Carbonara. Rich. Decadent. Mindblowing. This is easily one of the top three carbonaras that I have ever had. It was so delicious. The truffle flavor is not overwhelming at all - just the right amount. Lastly, I want to comment on the stellar service. We were checked on frequently by our wonderful waitress. Additionally, since it was my birthday, we had brought a cake from a bakery to the restaurant. Not only did she offer to store the cake in the fridge, but she made sure that we had enough plates, silverware, and even a lighter for the candles. Truly made sure that the evening was special! Overall, I'm looking forward to one day coming back to Cane Rosso. From trying the unique monthly pasta and pizza specials to the wonderful service, you can't go wrong with a meal here!

We grabbed a booth and ordered a large pepperoni, and it didn't take long before it came out hot and smelling unreal. First bite--crust had that perfect balance of crispy on the outside but still soft inside. The sauce actually has flavor (which a lot of places miss), and they don't skimp on the toppings. Cheese pull was legit too. You can tell this isn't some cookie-cutter chain pizza. Service was friendly and super laid-back. No rush, no attitude--just good people making good food. This is the kind of spot you don't overthink--you just keep coming back. Definitely adding it to my regular rotation. If you're in the area and want real pizza, this is it.

When I took my first bite, it was immediately obvious the pizza was not fresh. The cheese wasn't hot or melty like a freshly made pizza should be. Instead, it appears they used pre-made slices that were already sitting out and combined them to make a 14" pizza. I did not receive a fresh pie--just reheated, old slices passed off as a new pizza. That's unacceptable, especially at this price point. If a customer orders a fresh large pizza, it should actually be made fresh, not assembled from leftover slices and warmed up. Very disappointed and I will not be returning to this location. Customers should be aware that ordering a "fresh" pizza here may result in exactly what I experienced--a rip-off.
