Pollo alla Milanese

Ambience- small, was quiet, not busy (only one other couple), super fast service, intimate Food - focaccia was sooo yummy. We got Chicken picatta and chicken Milanese. Both were good but the chicken in the picatta was a lot better and less chewy. Both came with a penne and arrabiata sauce. It was good and a good price ($50 total with a small Ceasar salad without tip). I would come back again and try something where you get more of a mountain of pasta. I would come back but it's not the best Italian I've ever had. I've decided I will give it another chance bc it's so charming. Ceasar was good. The dishes we got just weren't anything special? Service - excellent; super nice Overall : skip out on the chicken Milanese in my opinion; maybe get the chicken picatta but it just wasn't anything I would come back for; try one of the big pasta dishes.

Don't let the cash/check only policy and the 6 indoor dining tables discourage you from trying this place out. Not going to lie, I was pretty skeptical about the merits of this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the food. Everything was delicious and well cooked. They make a mean calamari that is tender and not over cooked at all. It's different from the calamari you would usually expect at Italian restaurants since it's not fried... nonetheless, it was so tasty. The pasta was boiled to perfection. I had no complaints about the food whatsoever. I had a wonderful experience asides from the 1 hour wait (so come early) :) PSA: They are BYOB!

Literally AMAZING!! Cash only so bring cash but such a cozy vibe and the food was absolutely incredible!! The service was so quick and so nice and gave great recommendations, also the food is super reasonably priced and I love that you can bring your own wine. Will definitely go back.

To start off, this place is cash or check only but don't let that keep you from visiting. It's worth stopping somewhere to grab cash beforehand. It's also BYOB and to save a few dollars ($3/glass), bring your own wine glass if you're bringing something that's not bottled. The experience is great if your goal is to have a dinner that tastes amazing but this is not somewhere you come and have a romantic dinner for a date night. The bruschetta was a small portion and I'm not the biggest fan of balsamic but every bite was memorable. The Caesar salad and Pollo Alla Milanese entree were a good size and the dishwasher didn't have to clean much cause I licked the plates clean. My girlfriend also really enjoyed her lentil soup and gnocchi. The service was good but not very fast. Overall, I'm happy that I didn't listen to the negative reviews here on Yelp and got to experience this place.

Lasagne alle Bolognese & Pappardelle Special. No notes, absolutely delicious and large portions.

BYOB $3 cork fee. Don't forget to bring your own glasses. Get there right when they open, inside seating goes fast. Delicious food, we got the trio dip appetizer and loved the bruschetta. Must try, local favorite.

The food was ok. They really rush you to eat and get out. Not a big selection on the menu. Been there, done that...

Apéritivo Hour should draw locals running every day in the bar & patio including drinks & snacks. I wish I had come with a larger appetite because the menu offers a balanced selection of antipasti (starters), zuppa (soup), insalata (salad), primi (housemade pasta), secondi (protein dishes), and contorni (sides). My gracious server recommended a Rosemary Foccaccia (saved for next time) and Wild Arugula salad that was garden fresh in a Texas pecan vinaigrette with snappy pecorino and the most incredible crisped chicken skin as an alternative to traditional breadcrumbs. It was light and fresh with depth and richness, a perfect starter. From cool to warm - a Kabocha Squash Soup made with honeycrisp apple cider topped a tart currant chutney and crunchy roasted pine nuts. Texture was velvety smooth, delicately sweet, perfectly balanced, thoughtfully light to precede later dishes. Dessert a must, ask for house recommendation which rotates. My lovely server remained present and attentive although I was her only patron on the patio - a sign of superb service! I'm looking forward to seconds and main on my next trip.

Wait staff dressed uniformly. Dining area divided into sections, so we sat in a cozy intimate "corner" with a few other tables. Wait staff: Clean, neat and friendly. Our server was a WONDERFUL young lady named Jasmine. Very attentive, almost "intuitive", but not too intrusive. Perfect service. Food: Bread was nice, in house made garlic rolls with a light pretzel salt on top. I had Chicken Parmigiana, on a bed of thin spaghetti. My wife had the Lasagna. Portions were very generous. (I'm Cajun, so a "portion" to me usually feeds two. I was full and happy.) Chicken was fresh, hot, perfect breading. Marinara sauce tasted like homemade sauce, with a perfect amount and blend of Italian herbs. I had my wife's leftover lasagna for supper. (She loved it, but there was a lot.) It was every bit as good as my entree. I'm guessing that was ground veal. Wonderful! A gentleman I assume was the owner/manager came around to personally make sure the dining experience was good. Price was well in line with other sit down restaurants. (About $37 for both, and got 3 meals out of it.) Overall experience: I'd give it a 9.5, only because I don't give 10's. (Unless you feed me by hand, and wash and wax my car. HA!) We will *DEFINITELY* go back. (OK. I admit. That means I'll be harassing my wife to go back sometime this week. But, it really was GREAT!

The best part: I had a specific craving that wasn't on the menu (it likes "build your own pasta" from Romano's Macaroni Grill restaurant that is Grilled Shrimp on angel hair with veggie) and they cooked it exactly how I asked. The dish came out perfect and even better with high quality shrimp and veggies. You can tell the kitchen really cares. Cozy atmosphere, homemade taste, and service that makes you want to stay all evening. Highly recommend!

The restaurant is small and cozy. Twice we could not get in without a long wait. Other times we made reservations and did not need them. Best to be safe and call. Bar seating is also available if you want to sit there. The food was very good, we tried two of the dishes. They are Chicken Sunrise, and Veal Genovese, both come with pasta and the sauce on the meals are wonderful. Since we like these two dishes so much it is hard to try anything else. Bread rolls also come with the meal. Salad is extra, I had the Caesar salad. Started with an appetizer Escargot Provencal.... oh man this is good. Dip your bread into the garlic butter yum. The plates have plenty of food you will be full or take-home leftover. Nice glass of wine is good with the meal. Service was good once they were terribly busy, so the food came out slowly. But I understand the staff were working very hard. They only had two wait staff when we were there. Great place to go for a date or special night. Or anytime casual inside.
