I love this place! Ya'll they have gluten free calzones and they are delicious! I highly recommend!

We were avid visitors to the Bryant Irving location but once we heard it was moving to Vickery...YES!! We could WALK to our favorite spot now! Amazing pizza, staff is always incredible and the smell when you walk in the door...yum! We have loved Palios for years and will continue to love it! Our favorites are the Maria's which is a BBQ chicken and The King...basically everything. The best salads are the nutty Hawaiian or Greek. read more

Was craving pizza without any leftovers, so dropped into Palio's for The Meal Deal (chose salad, 3 topping pizza, & drink). Was chef's kiss perfect sized meal. Next time, I will try the spicy red pizza sauce bc the standard sauce was sort of eh. Decor is warm-tones (wood, brick, etc.). While I do not typically post reviews, I feel compelled to share my recent experience regarding the treatment I received from an employee at this establishment. I have visited this restaurant multiple times in the past and found the food, particularly the vegetarian options, to be very good. However, I will not be returning due to the unprofessional and discriminatory treatment I encountered. I experienced a stark contrast in customer service from a specific employee (description: short, white woman, heavy set, wearing a black hoodie). The employee was pleasant and cordial toward the two white customers immediately preceding me, but her demeanor toward me was hostile and unwelcoming. Her non-verbal communication and direct gaze conveyed an intense level of animosity that I can only interpret as racially motivated. This interaction was deeply upsetting and left me feeling that my business was neither valued nor appreciated because of my race. In light of this experience, I strongly encourage others, particularly people of color, to consider supporting businesses that ensure a respectful and inclusive environment for all patrons. Management should address this serious matter to prevent future instances of bias and maintain a professional atmosphere. All I can say is GREAT PIZZA! When staying out of town, I always want leftovers for the hotel room. Palio's was right around the corner. I joined the email club, which gets you a free appetizer. The managers special is buy one and get the second one $5 off. I got the Greek bread for my free appetizer. It was fantastic! So good! I ordered a medium Grace's Alfredo and a medium The King. I can't begin to tell you how good this pizza is. The King, which is a supreme, was an easy 4.5/5. But the Grace's Alfredo is a magnificent 5/5. This combination of chicken, spinach, mushrooms, and Alfredo sauce made me eat more than I should have! The best pizza I've had since Earl's 377 in Argyle. The double cheese with pepperoni is an all time favorite! It's so delicious and you just can't help but eat almost the entire pie on your own!! We love coming here the staff is amazingly friendly and talented the ambience is family friendly this location offers some very fun games you can play at your table and it's overall an enjoyable place. Three topping pizza, ordered ham, jalapeno and bell pepper, there was no ham that I could find and very few peppers. So basically a cheese pizza for the price of a three topping. Restrooms were not accessible. Probably a health code violation. Used to be the only pizza place I would go to. Update; Manager very nicely apologized for the above issues. Gave this place a try. Ordered Alfredo w chicken, artichokes & mushrooms and also meatball spaghetti. The dishes came w a cheese bread. We added side salads. The Alfredo sauce was bland yet salty & hardly had any artichokes. It was also cold but the pan it was in was very hot. The bread was cold too. The spaghetti was ok. My kid suggested this place after a doctor's appointment today. I wasn't particularly in the mood for pizza or any of it's derivatives, but I said "OK" and away we went. I'm so glad I didn't say "no". We got a couple of Calzones and they were amazing. Flaky delicious crust, wonderful fillings, dipping sauces that made the whole thing even better. This place was truly a treat and I'll be eager to return and try some of their other offerings next time I'm in the area. Good on you, Palio's. You've really impressed me on my first visit! Palios Pizza has some of the best pizza in the DFW area. My two favorite are Ralphie's Pizza and Formagio. The pizza size is great and size and flavor is always consistent. Eating at the restaurant is nice (staff is attentive) but I mostly enjoy taking some pizza to go and enjoy at home. Wednesday is a great day to buy their pizza because they have a BOGO special where you buy any size pizza and you get the second one for only $5!!!! Definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys eating pizza. read more

I have to thank Palio's for the excellent customer service they provided to me yesterday. My daughter had some guests (children) at her birthday party who have a severe dairy/gluten allergy. The local place we originally ordered from assured me they could accommodate for the allergies, but ended up putting cheese on the gluten free/dairy free pizza I'd ordered and stated they wouldn't be able to make a replacement for more than an hour. Palio's came to our rescue and provided a safe and delicious pizza within 15 minutes. Our guests were so happy to be able to eat with everyone else, and we'll definitely be loyal customers from now on! read more

Yesterday my wife ordered a pizza while I was running errands so I could pick it up. Perfect. Get a call that it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. Perfect. Get there in 22 minutes, give them my name and they ring up my pizza. Great. Then they tell me it will be 10 minutes? Not sure why, but ok. 10m goes by, nothing. No word or status. Meanwhile, there's 3 people and a manager standing around and people are clearly coming and going to pick up pizzas right on time. Ask again, and get "what's your name?" Manager says gluten free pizzas takes longer; didn't order a gluten free pizza. Can tell they go back and it was never started. I'm pissed. 15 minutes later I get my pizza. Total time 47 minutes. Manager never apologizes, staff the same, no sorry for the wait. Pizza is just ok. I like Palio's but just not this location as I've had issues before. Go to Aledo or somewhere else. Going here was a terrible experience. When we first got there, we had to wait for 16 minutes before we even got are order taken. Then when we tried to order, we learned that apparently they don't do whole wheat crusts anymore. After all of that, we had to wait 35 minutes for our food. When I got my pizza, they told me they ran out of pineapple, which was one of the main toppings on my pizza. The pizza wasn't even that good, considering we paid 17.50 for each one. The pizza was edible, but overall wasn't really enjoyable. I'm never going back there. read more

Thoroughly enjoyed my most recent visit to Palio's Pizza Cafe. I almost walked out because nearly every table was dirty. But as soon as we sat at a table a crew came out to clean up the place. This place gets really busy. First visit, wasn't sure what to order. Decided to try traditional pastas and a pizza. So happy we stopped at this location. The staff was charming, attentive and very friendly. The crust on the pizza and French bread was soft and flaky. Our entire meal didn't take as long as I expected since we were told everything is cooked to order. A free salad came with the pizza and soon our entire table ordered one because it looked so pretty. Recently, my spouse and I stopped at Olive Garden in Abilene. Our ticket came out to be near $70. I enjoyed my meal but my spouse left his. He couldn't eat it it tasted so bad. Here, our ticket came out close to $40 for pizza, pasta ( good sized portions ) and drinks and nothing was left on our plates. Their pizza crust has to be what makes them famous. Dh is diabetic and rarely eats pizza crust from any place. Palio's pizza crust he ate. My family left feeling content and completely satisfied! Highly recommended. Will definitely be back! read more

We had no idea about this place but a few weeks ago I got lucky and saw them on IG and some of their posts. We decided to go Saturday night and made the 30 mile drive to give it a shot. The young man taking the orders could tell we were rookies and explained how things worked and was very nice and the entire staff was great and very welcoming to us and everyone we saw them interact with. Order 3 of the lunch size so we could try a few at a time and glad we did. My wife got the Hawaiian Sunrise and LOVED it! I got a Stella and the Meat and Cheese Deluxe and both of them were fantastic! Don't judge if we wanted to lick the pan clean from that Stella, the buffalo sauce and ranch combo makes me a weak person lol So glad we made the trip and we will be back. The young man taking the orders recommended the chocolate cake since we did say we'd probably take a dessert to go, and he was spot on, it was great! Next time we'll try some cannolis! read more

So I was sitting around the apartment with my girlfriend and she said she wanted some pizza. I usually don't order pizza because I don't eat cheese, but I also was easily convinced not to cook that night. So I got on Yelp and typed in "vegan pizza" and found out that Palio's was a 2 minute drive and had vegan cheese featured on their menu. I thought to myself, "How have I never heard of this place? None of my vegan friends that avidly support businesses that cater to the diet have mentioned it before on the 'Gram or Facebook," so I thought I was gonna beat them to it and I'm glad that I sought it out. My hotass girlfriend ordered a Greek Pizza, for me a Palio's Vegetable Pizza with vegan cheese substituted, and we went to pick it up. Then we picked up some sodas from the corner store because we're not used to pizza parties and weren't thinking about the fizz until the smell of some dankass pizza filled the cabin of my small sedan. For the record though Palio's does offer soda. Now onto the important part. We got home and put the streaming service on the TV and opened up our boxes. What I saw did not look like Chao, Daiya or Follow Your Heart vegan cheese. It could have been Mozz Brand, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a Palio's exclusive. It was fully melted. I ate my medium pizza down to the last 2 slices and said "damn it all to hell, I'm gonna eat this whole thing." I DIDNT EVEN WANT TO SAVE IT FOR LATER CAUSE I KNOW ILL JUST BUY ANOTHER ONE FOR THAT TIME. So I clearly thought it was delicious. We ordered our food delivery. The website said it would be 75 minutes. No problems. It's Saturday it's cool. It gets here when it gets here. I have to eat here is if I want pizza. They are one of the only and best places that offer glutenfree. I asked that my calzone be crispy as possible cause the gluten free stuff is just better a little crispy but it was kinda raw and under cooked when it arrived. I didn't mind waiting 75 minutes. Service is absolutely terrible. Nobody seems to have any sense of awareness. So here I am ordering a medium brose add bacon TRIANGLE CUT (insane I know, how dare I customize it to the way every other pizza place cuts it?). Then I check when I pick up and it's neither triangle or square, looks like someone decided to cut it like a 3 year old and it's missing bacon. So I have them re make it and they tell me it'll only be 5 minutes. So I sit there in the cafe and 12 minutes later someone comes up to me asking if that's my pizza--it's square cut again, still no bacon. Also when I told the person it's not right (again) they acted as if I was crazy for complaining (again, sorry for explaining my order isn't correct.) it wasn't even super packed. People just don't seem to care about reading the order or communicating when they have to correct something. Idk man I think between the terrible service and the default square cut (what the heck are you supposed to do with the middle piece??) I don't think I want to come back which is a shame because the pizza itself tastes good and they offer Gf options but they don't seem to know what's going on. Third pizza was finally right.
