Convinced that not a single person in there has ever been to New York because that tastes worse than Little Cesar's. We came in to get "pizza by the slice" as advertised and they scammed us saying that they don't do that because they weren't going to make a pizza just for individual slices. Our only option was to spend $12 on their smallest pizza. They tried to sell us bottled water and when we refused and asked for water cups and they charged us $1.50 per cup with no ice (which was definitely tap water) and the cups were dirty inside. Pizza itself was disgusting. The crust was hard but the cheese was rubbery and just slid of the pizza like it wasn't even cooked with it. They took forever to get us our order and it was a bad experience overall. We come to this strip mall all the time and NEVER see anyone in there and now we know why. Such a shame cause it could be so good. I wouldn't come back here even if someone paid me to.

Stromboli & Calzone
Jeff B.

Blew in because our usual pizza spot closer to home was closed Mondays, so we thought we'd give 'em a try. And they're really good! So I suppose we have another pizza option for the nearby rotation. We got a calzone and a stromboli and shared each other's. They were huge, and made well, and came out quick enough for "made to order". Of the two, we liked the stromboli a bit more. A fun side thing, I'm a nut for all things 80s, and this couple had the kickin'est deep cut music playin', and I mean italo-disco, Modern Talking, Sandra, Bad Boys Blue... I was VERY impressed! And when I mentioned it, I suppose they appreciated their taste to be recognized! I assured them I thought the food was good too! Haa!!! Anyway, meant a lot to me! Another aside, I notice some of the harsh reviews here make a stink about being unable to customize pizza-by-the-slice. I encourage anyone reading those reviews to realize that's not how pizza-by-the-slice works, the ability to make one huge POPULAR choice pizza and selling it to multiple customers. To ask them for a slice of pizza with a weird request (like no marinara) that nobody else would want, those customers are asking them to throw out out 80% of the remainder of pizza. If a customer wants something nobody else would want, get a whole pizza and don't blame them for not understanding the principle of pizza-by-the-slice. Anyway, just had to throw that in. Anyway, great place!

I try & try with this place. I try with different names and number because I've had to complain before, but keep trying because there a small business that's close to home. They're just like, lazy acting... my food always feels & tastes old. I ordered a fresh, new, large pizza. It came out burnt like it's been there all day and they rewarmed it or like they just over did it. Looked at it & didn't like it, but still tried it & no. It tastes burnt. The Asian lady owner is so rude when I call, I don't even want to call and let them know. Just don't waste your time here, there's better.

Always good, friendly and they have a wide variety of food from wings, to pizza, to Mediterranean.

Bar full of customer eating, drinking, and being merry.

Some nights there is a bar full of customers, and about 8 beers on tap, and some vino. Thankfully there is also a few tables and booths to sit at.

Great pizza! Great crust, nicely crispy with just enough chew to it. Awesome ambience and music as well. Just a great local pizza joint.

Overall good experience. We had the baked ziti and toasted ravioli and it was all tasty. Will try the pizza next time.

Nice clean place. Atmosphere is fun and casual. Full bar. This is kind of like a Brazilian steak…read morehouse style, but with pizza. You order one of three fixed menus. One is salad, pizza and dessert pizza (I know, but give it a try). The other includes a choice of appetizer and the third is appetizer choice and dessert choice. Essentially, the wait staff brings different pizza around and you either try a slice or pass. They will keep bringing pizza and salad until you tell them no more. Our server was Ray (also a bartender), she was very friendly. If you want a full pizza tell the server and they will accommodate. I really liked the customer service. The pizza was fun to try different types (Brazilian Salami, pepperoni, margarita, and desert pizza coconut creme, nutella. Sweet pizzas. All different, not all ones I liked, but the whole experience was fun. And our server was fantastic at making us feel welcome and making sure we got what we wanted. Will definitely be back.

I can't give 1/2 stars. But I give 2.5 stars. It took about 5-7 mins for anyone to acknowledge us…read more We got sat and waited another 8-10 mins for the sever to come and offer drinks. The card was red and right away the pizza came. And that was the last time it was that fast. We waited in between every serving for a bit of time. At one point we sat for 10 mins waiting on more pizza. Once we finished and was ready for dessert that took forever. We asked for the dessert and the waiter said it'll be out shortly and didn't come back until we were ready to pay. It's a great concept and the pizza is good but could be done better.

We live nearby and wanted to try this place after we saw the positive YELP reviews. Once again,…read moreYELP for the win!! We started with the Arancini, a deep-fried ball of rice, pesto and mozzarella; rolled in bread crumbs. Never had anything like it before. It's amazing. Their tomato sauce is so fresh and salted perfectly. For your entrees, you "build your own"....choose your pasta, the sauce and the protein. My wife had the penne pasta, tomato sauce and meatballs. Very good. I chose the lobster ravioli with vodka sauce. Excellent. The bread is also terrific. Prices are fair. Service very attentive. It is a very minimalist dining room, boardering on spartan, but who cares, you can't eat ambience. We will definitely be back. Want to try their margherita pizza. Also saw another diner's entree of pasta with pesto sauce. This place lived up to its stellar YELP score!!

Pastaza in Trophy Club keeps things simple, and that choice pays off…read more The menu sticks to Italian basics. Nothing feels padded or overworked. What lands on the table tastes careful and confident, like a kitchen that knows when to stop. Sauces feel balanced. Pasta comes out cooked right, not rushed and not tired. Portions make sense. The dining room is clean every time I visit. That sounds minor, but it sets the tone. You trust the food before the first bite. Even the cheese pizza makes the case for the place. It looks plain. Then you taste it. The crust has structure without going stiff. The cheese melts evenly and carries real flavor, not just salt. It is the kind of pizza you keep eating without thinking about it, then notice the plate is empty. Pastaza does not chase trends. It focuses on doing familiar food well. That guardrail is likely why it works.
