I love coming to this location that's in hurst off of Pipeline road. The young lady with the glasses is always bubbly and really cares. I thought that maybe she was just an employee and I wanted to steal her away but I soon found out that her and her husband which is also a very nice person own this location. Their food is amazing, I love Detroit style and the sticky fingers. If you want coupons, they have a whole bunch of them upfront on the counter. Now you have to be patient sometimes if they're closed because there's only two or three people working the whole store and they get pretty busy sometimes, I would definitely call ahead of time. I've noticed that they put a little more toppings on top of the pizza than other companies so I enjoy it. They also have special sauces and stuff that they put on their crust if you'd like they also have keto stuff for those of you that need to be on the keto diet, I have not tried that yet, but I do know people order it. Yum! Besides big chains this is the only pizza near me. I was skeptical at first, but pleasantly surprised. We had a large thinner (not thin) crust pizza with pepperoni, onions, and mushrooms. We LOVE Mr. Jim's. We don't eat pizza too often, but love a good splurge here and then. Their crust is amazing, I actually prefer the new "Delights" version to their original crust, it's not thin, just thinner. You can not go here without getting an order of the Jim Stix, too. I recommend getting the garlic dipping sauce--they have the best I've ever had. Sometimes it's just flavorless liquid with a hint of butter taste, but this stuff is delicious. A few years ago we ordered here so often that one time I hit pick up by mistake and they called me and made sure it was not a delivery like usual. Well maybe Ownership changed.. i don't know maybe it's kids working at a pizza place.. never the less, it's junk now. Tonight we ordered a welldone pepperoni. The last 3 times we ordered delivery the delivery driver has giving me a whole talk asking why I want it well done.. and I should ask for less sauce or this or that... no I want it well done cause I don't like my pizza floppy.. and I like my cheese a bit crisp.. (i order well done at every pizza place most places get it and just push it back in the Oven for another min or so) a year ago it was never an issue if i ordered well done. Quite honestly me Jim's was perfect... 5/5.. that is no longer the case. I'd give it a .5 if I could rate it that. It's a shell of what it used to be. Let me start by saying Mr.Jim's is amazing pizza. The only reason they get 1 star from me is because the customer service I was given when ordering my pizza. They left out part of my order so when calling them after the delivery guy dropped it off we requested to have it brought to us with our order remade, seeing that the order we got would be cold by the time they got back. When speaking to Cody he told me that he cannot remake it because he would be losing money and then said "You have a microwave". Seeing that the box says do not reheat Mr. Jim's pizza in the microwave. I was more than insulted and could not believe that was the way they treat their customers. I told my family to go ahead and eat since everyone was so hungry and after all that the delivery guy showed up with a new order. We gave them the old order and took the new one, no one ate it because we had no idea what they could have done to it then. Like I said the pizza is great, the best in the area, it's a shame that they had to be so rude. They lost me as a customer. read more
