Limone Risotto!

Solid Italian! Went here for lunch with the family. The Arancini appetizer was great. I had beef ravioli with Rossa sauce, wife had cheese ravioli with pesto and son had limone risotto. All delicious! Also BYOB do bring your favorite wine. Ordered cheesecake to go, which was excellent!

Pastaza, Olive it so much(get it because olives are in Italian food lol). The pasta was good, and Giuseppe in the kitchen was saucy. Wouldn't be surprised if remy was back there, so let's make sure not to call the health inspector. Enjoyed the straws as well they were kind of silly; 5 stars.

We love Pastaza. In fact, we probably eat here WAY too much. This is one of the few places that I've actually tried everything on the menu, and I actually mean that. Every single item is truly excellent. Everything is hand made, and you can really tell as the quality of the food is something out of a fine dining restaurant. Our personal favorite item is the Margherita pizza as well as the arancini rice balls. The pizza is delicious, and the arancini are the best in the area. Their pastas are completely customizable and they're all really really good. You really can't go wrong here. I've never actually eaten in the restaurant, we've always done takeout - we live about 25 minutes away and the food is still hot and delicious by the time we get home. You really must put Pastaza on your list of places to regularly eat at. You won't be disappointed.

Wonderful concept, delicious food, great pricing, great service. Pastaza is a true gem in the Trophy Club area. While the ambiance is fast-casual, the food is something out of a fine dining restaurant. The premise of Pastaza is that the everything is customizable, so there is something for everyone. Great for a date night or family meal out!

If you're in the trophy club area, I recommend you to try this place out if you want fresh pasta and pizza. Service was great, ambiance was warm and welcoming, lastly food came out perfect. Give it a shot, it won't disappoint!

Wooooooow! My boyfriend and I wanted to try a new food place, so he found Pastaza in Trophy Club! The service was awesome! The guy at the front was very helpful with recommendations on what to order. We ended up getting calamari, margherita pizza, and a build your own pasta. The calamari was perfectly battered and fried, and not too greasy like other places. I don't usually like calamari, but I have to say this is the best one I've tried and I ate half the plate! The margherita pizza was a beautiful tasting pizza. My boyfriend took one bite and immediately was hooked. It's not too thick and not too thin of a pizza- perfect imo. It was just the right amount of crispy to where the pizza was not floppy. Aesthetically 10/10 looking too. We also wanted to try their pasta. We got the cavatelli pasta with Alfredo sauce, tomatoes, spinach and chicken. It also comes with a fluffy piece of bread. The pasta was great as well! The food came out very quick and tasted great. Overall I'd rate it a 10/10! My boyfriend and I will definitely be back! This was a great trophy club find!!

Excellent fast-casual joint to satisfy your pasta cravings! Ambiance & Service: The interior is clean and modern! You order at the register and then find a table. The owner was incredibly nice and mentioned they'd been open for over a year. It wasn't very busy, and I hope that changes for them soon! Food: - Caesar Salad: It was okay--just romaine, Caesar dressing, and Parmesan. I wish they would add croutons! - Cavatappi with Rossa Sauce: I love that you can add three toppings. I chose spinach, mushrooms, and asparagus. The pasta was delicious--piping hot and very fresh! The Rossa sauce was creamy but not too heavy. The homemade bread served on the side was also delightful! TL;DR - Perfect option for fast-casual Italian! I'd skip the Caesar salad but highly recommend the Rossa sauce with your pasta!

I love it!!! The owner is so kind and the food is delicious. In the least patronizing way possible, it's simple and straightforward. The biggest plus is how affordable it is. It's just insane what a value this is. It's also clean and so light if you choose to sit and eat. I think this is a real gem. I am definitely a new regular

This has a mom and pop feel, the owner came out to greet us and was super kind. A great place for a quick authentic Italian meal. The ambiance is modern and quiet. Great place for a friends or family dinner/lunch and kid friendly.

This is a solid pasta/pizza spot for anyone in the area. It's a no frills, elevated fast casual spot with proud owners and cooks. Quick tip: It's on the right side of the Tom Thumb plaza How it works: Choose your pasta, choose your sauce, and choose the toppings to add. Up to 3 toppings are a set price and proteins are varying prices. Same goes for the pizza orders as well. The reason I say it's an elevated fast casual spot is because they cook everything you order, fresh. You also grab your own water/drinks, utensils, etc. This spot is also BYOB so could be good for hanging out, but it looks like a lot of people grab this spot to go. Overall, a solid choice for lunch or dinner

167 reviews that average 4.8 stars? C'mon now. I will say it's good. It's not that good. The pizza was very good. In the words of Dave Portnoy, I would have liked it a little tighter. The crust was not quite as crisp as it should have been. However, flavor of crust was very good. As was the overall pizza. We also had an order of pasta. The concept reminds me of a Dalmoro'esque vibe. Picking the pasta, sauce, toppings. Anyway, the pasta was overcooked and over sauced. The flavor was good. The bread they gave us was also very good. Good crumb. Good texture. This is a solid choice. Casual. Easy. Basic menu that works. At a time when restaurants are trying to be everything to everyone, Pastaza stays in a lane and sticks the landing.

10 stars! So authentic. So fresh. So delicious. It's a gourmet meal in a casual, quick setting. I didn't expect the food to be so scrumptious but it has been EVERY time! To make it even better: They could serve alcohol and play Italian music (I'm not a fan of the karaoke-style music) but it's quiet and they have great service. The bread tastes like it's right out of the oven, the salad is so fresh and heavily dressed in a delicious dressing. The menu is meant to give you lots of choices so don't be overwhelmed, just ask for recommendations. If they had gelato, I'd never leave. Questo posto ha un autentico delizioso cibo italiano. se servissero il gelato, non me ne andrei mai. (That's the one without the unbleached enriched white flour American products use.) I had the hand tossed original crust, specifically with white sauce, chicken, onion, mushrooms, asiago, mozzarella and parmesian. Delicioso! The house white wine in Cloe du Bois....very nice. The house red is Dark Horse cab. Jordan was my server. I loved her service, knowledge, and laid back professionalism. Her hair is gorgeous: long and black. She recognized me as soon as I walked in, despite being otherwise preoccupied. I appreciated that. While the inside is low-lighting, the ceilings are extremely high. There are several TVs tuned to sports. While there is a small patio out front along the street, the better one is the larger, covered patio (door found near the bar). There's a patio indoor/outdoor wooden Barton counter that is encompassed by the bar with raised windows on good weather days. There's plenty of tables on this back patio as well.

Bartender/Manager(?) took our drink order and brought garlic knots to snack on. Nice touch, guess this is like offering dinner rolls...? Either way, they were good and much appreciated. Decent selection of beers and even a few craft options avaliable too. Bar area was buzzing during our visit and it appears they have some drink specials throughout the week. They were showing the NFL game, so good spot to catch a game too. Seating is a mix of tables and booths, and a bar in the back corner. We ordered 2 personal pizza options (4 slices, 8 inch), 1 was a custom order and other was their menu offering with spicy marinara, sausage, jalapenos and pepper jack cheese. Pizzas arrived pretty quickly. The crust was larger than expected and was a little more doughy than expected. Not bad, just not what we were expecting for hand-tossed crust options. Toppings were appropriate, so no concerns there. The pizza was good, not great, no complaints...just average pizza, similar to what you might get from a delivery pizza place. The server was really good and seemed to be covering the entire place, and yet she stopped by multiple times to check on us and refill glasses. I think I'd like to give the location another try again in the future.

The first time that I came I wasn't too impressed with the green chile mac & cheese pizza but this next time after ordering something new, my expectations were blown away. The pizza was cooked to just the right crisp with a very flavorful sauce, and the chicken parmesan had a perfectly cooked chicken with cheese on top and a delicious chicken alfredo pasta with 2 pieces of bread. We were brought upstairs to this little loft area, which felt....like we were being punished. Now we were only a 2 top, so I can understand that they may not have a spot or wanted us to take up a 4-top on a Saturday night, but it felt...CRAMPED up there. This place really does seem fun, but it was very hard to enjoy it up in the attic... As far as the restaurant, it was very clean and well kept, no issues with how everything looked. Nothing was really out of place, although it did feel like the upstairs was a storage area. We ordered the Killer Queso for an appetizer, which was served with fritos. Odd choice for fritos, but hey, all good, didnt take away from the appetizer. What took away from the appetizer was the fact that this felt like it was heated up from a can. The cheese was not really seasoned well and it was already clumpy, like it had been left out for a while. Then we ordered 2 pizzas; The Bees Knees (spicy red sauce, hot soppressata, fresh moz, basil, honey) and Local Goat & Fig (bacon, goat cheese, free moz, dried figs, balsamic glaze, basil). Here is where I continue to say that pizza is a very opinionated meal, so your taste may differ, but this was my take. Flavor was there, I liked the pizza, it had a nice crispy crust, however, as far as the bee's knees, there was no spicy that pizza at all, like zero heat. The Goat & Fig was good, like the flavors they put on that pizza. The crust did lack some flavor and could have used some olive oil maybe. There was a nice crispy to the crust, like I said, but ZERO crisp on the bottom of it, which is odd. they had a nice wood fired oven (at least I think it was wood, hard to tell from the attic). So you thin they could get a nice bottom, but hey, it is what it is. Drinks. Had a OB Hef and also a Prickly Pear Mule, both were DIVINE, best part of the evening! Staff. Well, lets just say, she started off like she was going to be fun, but really felt like we were annoying her to have been seated up there. I could understand with having to walk up and down a narrow staircase with food and drinks. She must have passed us 5-6 times and we had not touched any more of our pizza. She finally did bring us a box for it. Overall, price was not bad, the drinks were awesome, the service was meh and the meal was meh. I think that this place could be KILLING IT, and maybe it was just an off night, perhaps we will try it again with a bigger party to see how it is.
