Julia and William are incredible! She is an amazing server. Took care of us, attentive, friendly, amazing! Standout items: 1. Catch roll 2. Wagyu roll 3. Sea bass 4. Hit me cake Least favorite items were the lobster pasta- it was Luke warm and the pasta was overcooked or undercooked. Wagyu fried rice needs some sauce.

If you're in the mood for great service, food and drinks, you have to experience dinner at Catch. My group of 5 arrived on a Thursday after work for dinner. We ordered a variety of dinner options ranging from edamame, shishito peppers, rainbow sashimi pizza, crispy shrimp, fried rice. We truly sampled the menu and everything was amazing. For drinks, I ordered the porn star martini and lemon drop martini. They both were made with Kettle One and the pours were great. For desert, we had the chocolate cake and called it a night. I'd definitely return to continue exploring the extensive menu.

Went to Catch Dallas for dinner and the interior was super cute, very vibey, and perfect for a girls' night out or date night. The service, drinks, and desserts were good and definitely the highlight of the night. The food was good but nothing too special or memorable and it's definitely on the pricey side. I'd personally skip the sushi since there are other places in Dallas where you can get higher quality fish for much less. So I'd recommend trying their other dishes instead. Overall, you're really paying for the ambiance, experience, and vibe more than the food itself. Great spot for a fun night out if that's what you're looking for! I'd go here again for the atmosphere and service and their drinks!

Catch is very elegant. It's 2 floors with a patio that is great for brunch. I've been 3 times. Once for brunch and twice for dinner. Brunch was amazing however it is a bit pricey for breakfast. For dinner, I've had the branzino, Brussels, surf and turf roll and the watch fried rice. The branzino is delicious and comes with rice with mango. The roll has been perfected! The rice was flavored well but it was overcooked. I've had pretty good service when I've been. I would recommend Catch to visitors! 9/10.

Our service was exceptional. The pasta was amazing. The ambiance was dim and relaxing.

Crispy shrimp was delicious and the creamy basmati rice was good as well. The service was amazing everyone was really nice and the server was attentive. The atmosphere was nice wether a romantic date or celebrating good news, it's the right vibe. I almost forgot the hit me cake was amazing and since it was my birthday they gave it to me for free. Overall a really nice experience

Expensive but worth it in my opinion. Everything we got was so good. The crispy rice with tuna was amazing. I'm not a big dessert person but the strawberry dessert was 10/10. Would highly recommend!

Went here for my birthday and it was absolutely incredible. The fish is flown in fresh from japan, probably some of the best sashimi I have had. Service was so friendly and calm, and the interior was stunning. So so so good.

Dined for a late dinner. We made reservations and we were sat fairly immediately. The wait for the food took a bit longer than expected. But our server was great and fast moving. They have convenient parking and offer valet which is a plus. I would suggest as the branzino was really good.

Our reservation was not honored . We waited about 35-40mins after our time before seated. Once seated we noticed the demographic in a certain area of the restaurant along with the servers . I really liked the water options where the options of lemon, mint and orange are brought to the table . The drinks were too sugary but not bad. The edamame was awful! My friend enjoyed the sushi and I enjoyed the truffle spaghetti. Upon leaving and waiting for our ticket to be validated the gentleman at the door came from out of no where being extremely rude and unprofessional. I felt uncomfortable and it altered the experience even more.

My friend and I have been wanting to come here for a while so we booked reservations for 745PM. Upon arrival, they were PACKED. The bar was full as well as the dining area. We waited at the bar (and had a drink) while we waited for our table to be ready. We FINALLY were seated at 820PM and ordered around 830PM. The customer service (waiter) was a bit scattered but we were able to get everything we wanted ordered. For starters, we ordered the Wagyu Gyoza and we really liked these - although we were starving from the long wait. The next item to come out was the Truffle Sashimi and Madai Crudo. We thoroughly enjoyed the Truffle Sashimi and even dipped our Crudo in the sauce! Would definitely recommend the Sashimi. Thereafter, we were just waiting and waiting for our rolls and nigiri. As we looked around, no one was eating but drinking and drinking. The food service was terribly slow. Around 25-30 mins later, our Catch Roll, Hellfire Roll, and Otoro and King Salmon Belly nigiri arrived. The nigiri was very fresh and tasty and we enjoyed the Catch Roll. The Hellfire Roll was ok - definitely not a favorite. Since we had a reservation for cocktails after, we had to high tail it out of there! Overall, the food was good but the timeliness and service can be improved so much especially for what you're paying. I guess as long as the aesthetic fit, no one cares. Try it for yourself - the food won't disappoint!

While I can't give a full food review just yet, I absolutely have thoughts after stopping in for a nightcap at Catch's bar. My husband and I popped in for "just one drink," which we all know is code for a vibe check. And let me tell you, the atmosphere alone makes you want to linger. It's sleek, polished, and has that low-lit, city-at-night energy that feels effortlessly chic. Now for the drinks. I ordered the porn star martini, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it was a 10/10 moment. It arrived in a classic martini glass, perfectly chilled, with that gorgeous golden hue that practically glows under dim lighting. And then, the detail that sealed the deal: a petite glass of prosecco served alongside it. Crisp, bubbly, and meant to refresh your palate between sips. It felt indulgent. Playful. A little dramatic in the best way. The martini itself was smooth, balanced, and dangerously easy to drink. Sweet but not syrupy. Bright but not sharp. It tasted like it was crafted by someone who understands that a cocktail should feel like an experience, not just a drink. I would go back for this alone without hesitation. Now... the dirty martini. My husband ordered his with Tito's and blue cheese olives, and we were ready for that bold, briny, savory magic. Unfortunately, this one just didn't deliver. It lacked that punchy, ice-cold crispness you crave from a truly elite dirty martini. Instead of feeling sharp and refined, it fell a bit flat. For a place with this level of polish, it was honestly a letdown. Overall, though, I'd absolutely return. The bar atmosphere is inviting, the porn star martini is worth the trip, and I'm genuinely excited to go back and explore the food menu. But if you're a dirty martini purist with high standards... consider this your friendly warning.

First restaurant week we went to in 2025 and what a start. First, the service was really good from walking in the door. There were a few lawyers gaps in the dishes but overall wasn't that big of an issue. The restaurant has a nautical feel to it but like a fancy dining room on an old ship. Food wise we were expecting to pick one from each course but it was a tasting menu so a lot of food. Basically everything was good. For the first course, we got Catch Sushi and Madai Ceviche. The ceviche was ok but the sushi was the star of this course. It is basically a California roll with seared salmon on top. The second course included Crunchy Rice Cakes, Crispy Shrimp, and a Spinach Artichoke Salad. The crunchy rice cakes were meh; the rice was too much and almost like a tater tot but the tuna on top was delicious. The crispy shrimp were fried perfectly and had the right amount of spice. The salad was by far the biggest surprise of the night. It wasn't the best dish of the night but was an incredible salad that I can't compare to one I've had before. The crispy shiitake and leeks on top were the perfect added touch. The third course was Salmon a la Plancha, Herb Roasted Branzino, and a NY Strip. For me the salmon was nothing special, just salmon. The herb roasted branzino was the best dish of this course - had great flavor and was cooked perfectly. The NY strip was coooked to a perfect medium rare. However parts of it were too salty for me. For dessert, got Warm Ricotta Donuts and Sorbet. The donuts were good; I liked the chocolate and white cream cheese on it. The sorbets are seasonal but strawberry was my favorite.

Often times after it's all said & done, you wonder - was that worth it? Thankfully, that is NOT the experience I had at Haywire! I ate here on August 9th, 2025 and enjoyed everything about it. I was with a large party but would love to return for a more intimate experience. On this Saturday, my younger cousin was graduating from Parker University so I was in town for the weekend. At around 1pm, I was one of the first to arrive at the restaurant. Unfortunately the parking is a bit confusing. There was construction being done on the same street when I went but there's a parking garage for customers that's difficult to navigate AND the elevator that connects wasn't operating at the time which was an issue for many (but not me, I got a good spot & walked). My party hadn't all arrived yet so I took a gander. Upon entering the tall doors, the space breathes southwestern elegance: wooden structure, leather seating, separate dining areas with highlighted ranch-style art. The abundance of space gives it an open-concept feel. The lighting fixtures are modern, the space was dim but not too low, with an option to utilize the large windows also. I was quiet impressed at the overall presentation. When my party did arrive, I wanted to keep it simple so I ordered the Chicken Cobb Salad and a Hibiscus Haze with Vodka. The table shmoozed as we ate some of the appetizers: the Crab Dip & Green Tomatoes, both amazing. The food did take some time but, considering it was 10-12 of us, that's expected. The Hibiscus Haze was splendid: smooth & flavorful, a great concoction. Cobb salads are usually pretty thick but this one was HEARTY. It came in a large bowl stuffed with the all the toppings. The dressing it was tossed with was well balanced but could've used a tad bit more. With some pepper & a little ranch, I was set! I defeated the salad but it also left me stuffed to the gills. Satisfying meal that I would order again! There are tons of restaurants to dine at in Dallas & sometimes you never know which is worth your time. Despite the inconvenience of parking, I'd bet my bottom dollar that this is a good place to eat. Whether you want a fine dining experience, it's a special occasion or just want a good drink with a meal, Haywire has enough to satisfy all interests.

Knowledgeable about the menu & great recommendations. Kev was a joy to have as our server. The food is amazing & love the ambiance of the restaurant. My only complaint...we came in early Saturday prior to Stars game. The restaurant wasn't busy at all. We were asked if we had a reservation. We did not, the restaurant wasn't busy at all. We were asked to wait. Waited maybe 5-10mins. No biggie, A lot of open tables were available for immediate sit down. Again that wasn't a big deal. I had asked for a booth & wanted to sit in front room. The hostess said no a problem. She handed us off to a younger hostess and she took us to a table. I told her I had requested a booth. In the front room only 3 tables were occupied. I pointed out the booth and she said that's for party of 6. However, we could have the 1/2 table/booth. Made absolutely no sense because that was for a party of 6 as well. I made this comment & she just stared at me without saying a word. I didn't want to seem difficult and took the table as she just walked away. Kev was confused as we were. No good communication skills. It was an awkward encounter. The restaurant wasn't busy at all & never was whole time there. Kev wasn't sure why she didn't move us a requested & was puzzled himself. However i apologized to him & explained I wasn't trying to be difficult, but prefer booth sitting and most times we will wait for one. We left at 1:45p and restaurant was no busier than when we arrived. Reservation/Booth or not! I guess saying all of this, your front staff need to have more people skills when dealing with your customers. They are the face and first point of contact. Again Kev was amazing & food was outstanding!

However, my experience this past Saturday wasn't quite up to the usual standard. Although my server, Kate, did her best and was attentive in taking my order, the overall service seemed a bit off. The kitchen appeared to be short-staffed, yet there were plenty of servers standing around instead of helping out as a team. I believe teamwork is crucial in creating a smooth dining experience. After waiting nearly 30 minutes for my appetizer, I had to send back the gator bites because they were served cold. With a bill of over $230 before tip, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect prompt, hot food. I tried to be understanding--having worked in the service industry myself--but there's definitely room for improvement on the coordination between staff and the bar. To their credit, once the food did arrive, everything was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious--exactly what keeps me coming back. One small disappointment was that, unlike with the table next to us, a manager never stopped by to apologize for the earlier issues at our table. Even with the hiccups, the food itself still deserves five stars. It's hard to give a place like Pappadeaux's anything less when the flavors are that good.

Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen…read more Friday afternoon lunch was not the best experience. I guess the professional server is a dinosaur theses days. Apparently, Pappadeaux's has had to pull from a a bad pool of applicants. While my server was friendly, she was either overwhelmed or just plain forgetful. I ate a few gator bites that arrived with bread service (which was completely out of order) before I asked for a container to transfer them to so they would not be soggy from the pool of sauce they were in. When she finally resurfaced, it was too late. I had already transferred them to the bread plate to save them. She did apologize. The shrimp & crab cobb salad is a standard for me and the last two times I have been disappointed. They changed it to a wedge of iceberg lettuce. The wedge used to be what appeared was a 1/4 head of lettuce. Now it looks like they have increased the yield and now get 8 wedges from a single head of lettuce. For a $30 salad of nutritionally dense iceberg, this is ridiculous! The wedge looked more like a slice of lettuce. The shrimp were cut in half, and there was an excessive amount of grape tomatoes. The toppings far outweighed the lettuce. If you're not going to cut the lettuce up, then do not cut my shrimp either! Very disappointed! After asking the server for the bill and to-go containers, she disappeared again. I thought it was shift change. I had to ask a manager who was taking a complaint from the table next to me. They too, were upset about the level of service from the same server. I let the manager know as well, "at these price points the service is not up to standard". She apologized but never asked for details. What kind of hospitality manager responds this way??? Now Im super pissed! I thought the FOH mgmt was subpar at Richardson (which is specifically why I drove further to Oak Lawn), but Oak Lawn has them too. I am done w/Pappadeaux's. It costs too much to have to experience this type of service and and clueless mgmt. There are burger joints with better service.

The pea risotto was aggressively one-note--just peas, no balance, no depth, none of that creamy, cohesive richness risotto is supposed to have. For $375 with tip, this wasn't just disappointing, it was offensive. The whole meal read less "elevated dining" and more "retirement home with a plating budget." I'll take Saltgrass next time..and that's not a compliment.

The wedge salad is fantastic, and they will chop it for you. We tried both the salmon and the crab cake and each was delicious. The vibe there is great, with a nice music track in the background that included an occasional Christmas tune. By the time we left it was quite crowded, so I highly suggest a reservation (Resy).

We drove all the way from Frisco to try Beverley's, so the great service was very much appreciated. We also loved the atmosphere! Very cool vibe with a great saxophone player. The food overall was very good, however, the latkes were definitely not good. We had the smoked salmon latkes and they were tiny, overcooked and flavorless. We had this as an appetizer and were nervous about the rest of the meal after those hockey pucks. My wife had the short rib and I had the schnitzel. They were both amazing. The potatoes were some of the best mashed potatoes I have ever had. Just amazing. The dessert with the Henry's homemade ice cream and toffee was delicious, as well. Overall, we will definitely be back. I just wish they had better latkes, because that's actually why we chose Beverley's, but no harm no foul. We enjoyed everything else enough that we would be happy to go back.

As big fans of Misti Norris and Petra, we first heard about Rainbow Cat when it was still a temporary popup at the bar. Having now tried her newer creations at Saint Valentine, we can safely say we'll definitely be back in the future for the drinks and vibe as well. Service was great throughout, with Paul and several other bartenders and servers casually conversing with and taking care of us the whole time we were there. It was super fun getting a glimpse of how the bar and kitchen work and also how enthusiastic everyone else also is about Misti's food. My husband and I started with a couple drinks that hit the spot: my Bryan St. Swizzle was colorful and refreshing, and my husband's Cheri Cheri Lady was smoky and smooth. We split three food items that most intrigued us, and they were all delicious. Our favorite was the Unicorn Dog, which came with a flavorful sausage with a delightful snap atop a bed of the best crispy rice we've had in a while. Spam Musubi was definitely also an elevated version of the classic, and the potato noods were basically a baked potato in noodle soup form, which I loved. We were recommended the Sour Patch to go with the Unicorn Dog but honestly the pickles weren't super necessary IMO; the dish was already wonderfully balanced with the mustard and onions. We ended the night with the cinnamon toast crunch dessert which was a lovely cap to the meal. The whipped milk was super unique, though my husband did say he would've preferred a slightly sweeter semifreddo, which would also mimic the temperature of cereal milk better. Something to consider for a future dessert maybe! We'll find ourselves downtown a little more now that the fall sports season is getting under way, so I can't wait to come back when we're in the area and try other things on the menu!

Our main concerns were that, none of the dishes really stood out from an ingredients standpoint. Food seemed kind of bland and not memorable. The state we received was also completely raw when we asked for it, medium rare. The ambience of this place is precious, but I can see it getting pretty packed on the weekends. Wanted to go here for over a year, and after my experience, I probably wouldn't go back again.

Glad they did, so we could come here instead. When we got there it wasn't too busy, so we were able to get seated quickly. We ended up getting a bunch of tapas and everything we got reminded us of our trip to Barcelona. Granted it was a lot cheaper in Barcelona, but the different dishes felt fairly authentic. Out of all the dishes I truly enjoyed the garlic shrimp and the beet dish. Also you can't go wrong with the tomato bread. Lastly, get the sangria if you drink. Service was also great and they stopped by ever so often to check in on us. They also have the option to eat outside... Considering it was fairly cold we opted to eat inside. The only major con about this place is the parking. I know it's now their fault, but during peak hours it's very difficult to find street parking. I'm not sure if they have their own dedicate parking lot.
