The ambiance was beautiful...dim lighting, great vibe, and a really nice bar that I'll definitely be trying next time. I also tried one of their drinks, and it was excellent. The Rainbow Sashimi Pizza was amazing, incredible, and it looked beautiful too! It was the combination of tuna, salmon, and hamachi with truffle tomato aioli and serrano chili on a thin flatbread-style base. The Catch Roll, with crab, salmon, miso honey, and a fire-torched topping, was another favorite. The torching really brought out the flavors. The Miso-Glazed Sea Bass was a 10/10. The fish was so tender it practically melted in my mouth, and the sauce complemented it perfectly. And surprisingly, the Wagyu Fried Rice was one of my favorites! With shiitake mushrooms, Chinese sausage, and fried egg, it was prepared right in front of us, which was such a fun touch and it tasted incredible. While doing an Uptown restaurant and patio crawl, we stopped into Catch for drinks and dessert and ended up having a great experience. The space strikes a nice balance between classy and comfortable. The main dining room is dark, intimate, and upscale without feeling stuffy. We opted for the patio, which was large, bright, and very comfortable. There's also an upstairs area, though I didn't get a chance to check it out. What stood out most was the service. Went to Catch Dallas for dinner and the interior was super cute, very vibey, and perfect for a girls' night out or date night. The service, drinks, and desserts were good and definitely the highlight of the night. The food was good but nothing too special or memorable and it's definitely on the pricey side. I'd personally skip the sushi since there are other places in Dallas where you can get higher quality fish for much less. So I'd recommend trying their other dishes instead. Overall, you're really paying for the ambiance, experience, and vibe more than the food itself. Great spot for a fun night out if that's what you're looking for! Catch is very elegant. It's 2 floors with a patio that is great for brunch. I've been 3 times. Once for brunch and twice for dinner. Brunch was amazing however it is a bit pricey for breakfast. For dinner, I've had the branzino, Brussels, surf and turf roll and the watch fried rice. The branzino is delicious and comes with rice with mango. The roll has been perfected! We went to Catch in Dallas and it definitely lived up to the hype! Loved both the regular lychee martini and the dirty martini. We started with the shishito peppers which were perfectly seasoned and Cape Cod oysters that were a bit on the brinier side. For rolls, we had the Catch Roll and the Surf & Turf Roll. Both were tasty but our table agreed the Surf & Turf was the winner. The sashimi pizza came highly recommended but I didn't find it special. The tuna tartare paired well with the bread, and the crispy rice and crispy shrimp will always be a go-to. I was told the wagyu fried rice was "life changing" but I personally found it lacking in flavor. However, the miso-glazed seabass was incredibly flavorful. To end the night, they brought warm chocolate chip cookies that were perfectly cooked. The restaurant did get pretty loud and service slowed down once the place got busy, but our waitress and the rest of the staff were attentive for the majority of the night. Myself and my partner had such an amazing brunch at Catch Dallas! Everything from the food to the atmosphere was fantastic, but Christina truly made our experience exceptional. She was so friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the entire meal. She made us feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of, and really went above and beyond to make our brunch feel special. The brunch display was incredible, especially the sushi boat! Whatever the vision was for the display, you all nailed it. In terms of options along the display, there was such a great variety to choose from, and everything we tried was delicious. We also had the steak & eggs and Florentine omelet for our entrées, and both were fantastic. To top it all off, Christina surprised me with a "Happy Birthday" Hit Me smash brownie, which was such a fun and thoughtful touch and the perfect way to end the little birthday brunch/celebration. The buffet has a wide range of options and everything is done well. I've been to brunch here two very enjoyable times, and both times, service was excellent. So many options. Sushi, oysters, shrimp, salads, hummus, guacamole, eggs, hash, skewers, meat carving station, croissant and bagels station. I don't think I was able to try 1/3 of it, so I'll have to return. I love traditional US breakfast more than most things in life, and my first time at catch, I didn't even make it to the chicken and waffles, eggs, and other favorites of mine that Catch provided on the buffet line--there was so much other good food. I really loved the Poke and yellowtail- tried those 3 or 4 times. The sushi rolls were likewise good. My second visit to brunch was just as good. While there are many kinds of food available, Catch seems to do them all very well. This time I tried the chicken and waffle- and I regret not trying them sooner. My friend and I have been wanting to come here for a while so we booked reservations for 745PM. Upon arrival, they were PACKED. The bar was full as well as the dining area. We waited at the bar (and had a drink) while we waited for our table to be ready. We FINALLY were seated at 820PM and ordered around 830PM. The customer service (waiter) was a bit scattered but we were able to get everything we wanted ordered. For starters, we ordered the Wagyu Gyoza and we really liked these - although we were starving from the long wait. The next item to come out was the Truffle Sashimi and Madai Crudo. We thoroughly enjoyed the Truffle Sashimi and even dipped our Crudo in the sauce! Would definitely recommend the Sashimi. Thereafter, we were just waiting and waiting for our rolls and nigiri. As we looked around, no one was eating but drinking and drinking. The food service was terribly slow. Around 25-30 mins later, our Catch Roll, Hellfire Roll, and Otoro and King Salmon Belly nigiri arrived. The nigiri was very fresh and tasty and we enjoyed the Catch Roll. The Hellfire Roll was ok - definitely not a favorite. Since we had a reservation for cocktails after, we had to high tail it out of there! Our reservation was not honored . We waited about 35-40mins after our time before seated. Once seated we noticed the demographic in a certain area of the restaurant along with the servers . I really liked the water options where the options of lemon, mint and orange are brought to the table . The drinks were too sugary but not bad. The edamame was awful! First restaurant week we went to in 2025 and what a start. First, the service was really good from walking in the door. There were a few lawyers gaps in the dishes but overall wasn't that big of an issue. The restaurant has a nautical feel to it but like a fancy dining room on an old ship. Food wise we were expecting to pick one from each course but it was a tasting menu so a lot of food. Basically everything was good. For the first course, we got Catch Sushi and Madai Ceviche. The ceviche was ok but the sushi was the star of this course. It is basically a California roll with seared salmon on top. The second course included Crunchy Rice Cakes, Crispy Shrimp, and a Spinach Artichoke Salad. The crunchy rice cakes were meh; the rice was too much and almost like a tater tot but the tuna on top was delicious. The crispy shrimp were fried perfectly and had the right amount of spice. The salad was by far the biggest surprise of the night. It wasn't the best dish of the night but was an incredible salad that I can't compare to one I've had before. The crispy shiitake and leeks on top were the perfect added touch. The third course was Salmon a la Plancha, Herb Roasted Branzino, and a NY Strip. For me the salmon was nothing special, just salmon. The herb roasted branzino was the best dish of this course - had great flavor and was cooked perfectly. The NY strip was coooked to a perfect medium rare. However parts of it were too salty for me. I tried out Catch Dallas during restaurant week and I have to admin, while I was skeptical at first, I was blown away! This place is really good and I can't wait to come back. The ambience makes you feel like you're transported to a nice, coastal restaurant and the staff is so nice and caring, no detailed is left off. Since it was restaurant week, we were given a tasting menu. I thought for each course we would select one item but I was wrong- they give you everything! It's designed so that it's for the table, but it's so much food we shared for 3 people and we were full. So let's dive in. First course- we were given the madai ceviche and a catch roll. The ceviche was really good and had a good flavor to it. The red snapper was a nice touch. The catch roll was addicting, I wanted more! Second course- we had a spinach artichoke salads which was mouthwatering. The mushrooms and leeks gave it a nice texture and the yuzo miso vinaigrette was nice and smooth. The crispy shrimp was my favorite- they were coated so well but lightly so it didn't feel heavy. The taste on it was also supurb. Finally, the crunchy rice cakes with tuna tartare was good too. Third course- the branzino was the star of the trio. While the salmon and streak were phenomenal, this branzino had an amazing flavor and had me wanting more. Dessert- the sorbet is house made and really good! You got three flavors that are changed up. Today we had raspberry lychee, banana guava, and strawberry. I think the prices are a bit high. However, I see the justification for the price based on the overall experience. The experience left a bad taste because of valet - the only negative. They share a valet with the restaurant to the right. A couple keys were misplaced and other guests were very upset. I'm an absolute self proclaimed valet princess and will valet every time and all the time. This was one of the most unpleasant experience for the venue. Don't tell me my car is on the way when I can see it and the keys haven't been picked up bc they were missed placed when I asked about an update. I would say over all our Sunday Brinch experience was good. The food is definitely the star of the show. The quality of the food was outstanding, everything was fresh and flavorful. The way the menu was explained to us was that you had to order your Brunch item (steak and eggs, chicken &waffles, Lobster pasta, etc.) and that gave you access to the sushi, seafood and desert bars. The most disappointing aspect of our visit was the service. From the phone call to let them know we were running a few minutes late to sitting without water for several minutes to the disappearance of our server for several minutes at a time, I was not impressed with the service. Really beautiful interior - but LOUD and hard to hear when the dining room is full. We tried the Catch roll, comes in 5 pieces and they are very thick and filling. The hamachi crudo and truffle sashimi both tasted like they had be been premade and sitting in the fridge waiting to be served - not my favorite. The tuna crispy rice was very good and comes with a good serving of tuna on top. For the entree, we split a filet, truffle fries, and a Caesar salad. All of it was just fine. The filet was cooked well. Caesar salad was quite boring and the iceberg lettuce made it feel a little like a cafeteria caesar salad. Truffle fries come w aioli. Oh, the "Hit Me" dessert was quite fun and tasty at the end! Service started out strong - clear that they are working out some kinks. We had a waitress in training. Food and drinks were good. Expensive but tasted good and came out timely. Interior and decor is very beautiful, 10/10 for ambiance. The main con is Awful service. Took a full hour before we took food orders and we had to flag down someone to get our server to take said food orders. Waiter never stopped by to check in on us; every time we needed something we had to flag someone down. Took over two hours for a small group of us to eat - we probably would have been about an hour if we had timely service. It was SO hard to get a reservation here. They book up so fast on open table. I was able to email them and they emailed me back and were able to fit a party of 6 in, which was nice. We showed up on time but we're still asked to wait in the bar area, which was full. Took awhile for bar seats to open up for us to order anything, but the bartender was nice and explained the bar menu to us. The martini was so good and they make a little extra and keep it on ice for you to refill yourself later. Blue cheese olives * chefs kiss * Tbh, I didn't like our waiter. He seemed a little rude and short. We ordered about 6 dishes, including the sashimi pizza (which is sashimi on chips to put it mildly lol), the sushi platter, miso glazed sea bass, and a couple other dishes I can't remember. Servings are small. You're expected to order everything all at once. So if you're still hungry, that's too bad. Food was good. Drinks were good. Vibes were good. But I definitely think this restaurant is overhyped. read more

The drinks feel like they're premade and service is just unfortunate. This place is super gorgeous but I don't foresee this place lasting too long with the price point and that Uchi is around the corner from this place. The LA one will be my favorite one to go to as this fails in comparison. People want to be seen here but I can tell you I don't want to be here ever again. read more

Fancy spot for a pricy date night but super vibey and dark atmosphere. They have great drinks, good sushi, tasty larger dishes. I loved the fried rice dish. It came in a bimbimbap style bowl with an egg on top! The wine selection is great and there is an upstairs too. You need a reservation here and it's in a somewhat busy area so recommend uber or they can also valet! read more
