Another amazing dinner at hungry belly! We got there just in time for happy hour so got so enjoy some discounted drinks. This place is my happy spot, it's fun just sitting there and hanging with good friends. The service is great too and keeping things running along. They're a well oiled machine! So this time I had the tulip roll and the iris roll. Both are really good and delicious!

The service and atmosphere were fantastic! It's a pretty small dining room that feels really intimate and cozy. We never waited too long for anything. The servers watch over the dining area constantly. They didn't hover though. I don't want to forget about the food! It was all really good and fresh. We ordered different rounds of food and it all came out quickly, about 5 minutes. The yummy shrimp was a crab salad stuffed eggroll with shrimp and cream cheese. We really liked it especially with the sambal it was served with. We had some sushi rolls as well. They were a bit pricey for what you get. The overall experience totally made up for that though. They were both very delicious and the dish was very fresh. We took some crab rangoon home for later and hope to be back soon!

I've been coming here for five years, and shame on me for not leaving a review sooner. Koko and Nick are amazing--the service is always warm and attentive. The fish is consistently fresh and high quality, and the Korean dishes are just as impressive, from the sizzling bulgogi in hot stone bowls to the ramen. This has become my go-to spot, and I find myself eating here regularly. Highly recommend!

I was very impressed by the beef bulgogi box I got here. It came with a large amount of food and every bite was enjoyable to the point where I did not want my meal to end. The beef gyoza was enjoyable but the bulgogi and california roll were the stars of the show. Each bite was flavorful and extremely well done. I also got the miso soup which was also tasty. Although it was take out, I was very impressed by my experience at Hungry Belly and plan on coming back.

We were in Dallas over Christmas break and I'm always looking for some good Asian eats. The first night, I was looking for some noodle soup on Christmas night for my toddler who was sick. I found some udon noodle soup and decided to order via UberEats, along with the Pork Tonkotsu Ramen and some pieces of sushi. What came was surprisingly delicious!! The udon noodle soup had a nice umami broth. The normal one, with no meat addition came with tempura crumbs and seaweed. Toddler devoured it; which was nice cause he hadn't had much of an appetite for anything. Ramen was a very decent portion and the sushi was fresh and delicious! We liked it so much we came by 2 days later for lunch before making the drive back home. There is a front lot that looks pretty packed but also a side lot with plenty of spaces! The restaurant was small and cozy. Service was tentative, yet not overbearing! -Agadashi Tofu: not what I was expecting at all! It was large triangles of fried tofu with a thicker sweet sauce, not like the tradition broth you pour over the tofu with the bonito flakes. Tofu was crispy and flavor was nice. I surprisingly enjoyed this dish. -Belly Fries: large sizzling platter came out with cheese melted over fries and bulgogi. We got the spicy mayo on the side so our toddler can eat them. Was good but on the dry side cause maybe of the mayo. -Soonduboo: I always love a good spicy seafood Korean tofu soup. This one came with the Korean sides and rice. It wasn't boiling hot like other places but came loaded with tofu, calamari rings, shrimp, and small scallops. Good flavors, though not as strong as I would like, and because it was loaded with things, it wasn't as brothy, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. -Sushi: we had an assortment of king and Scottish salmon, escolar, Otoro, tobiko, and unagi. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Fiance said the sushi was the star of the show this meal. I thought the unagi was a bit overcooked. Everything else was good, salmon and tobiko stood out the most. Good serviced great ambiance and a good meal for the large variety of dishes they offer!

Fast & friendly service at Christmas. Our reservation was ready upon arrival. Sushi rolls, bulgogi bento box, and Korean beef bento box were all excellent. Bottle of cab only $20!

The hungry fries are a must! The bulgolgi is amazing! The fried rice was ok, needed some soy sauce. The service was good. Next time I'm going to get some noodles. The music playing was the best!

Simple menu but had all the basics and then some! The spring rolls were tasty and crunchy. The Lo Mein was alright, seemed like a thicker noodle than I'm used to with this entree. It still had some decent flavor and was good for a quick lunch!

The food was delicious! A group of my friends and I went and enjoyed everything we had. Service was great, especially since one of the employees was a sorority sister. The inside was a bit small but there is outdoor seating available. Parking lot is small as well so be prepared to navigate. If you drive a very large vehicle, it may be difficult. I will definitely be back when I'm in Dallas again!

Not my first time here - but this time we tried NEW things. The restaurant has a tiny parking lot (it's tight!) and small inside seating area - but they seem to be popular for TO GO and PICKUP orders. Started with some Happy Hour items... $4 cold sake And then the Spam Masubi, which I think was super salty...but tasty. I can only eat one piece though. Had the Pork Bento Box and EVERYTHING inside this dish is great. You get a LOT of food for your money here. We didn't do dessert, but had good conversation and food. The service was good. Plenty of refills on our drinks, too.

Tried out Hungry Belly for the first time! The exterior is still being remodeled, but don't let that deter you. We were seated quickly, and the dog-friendly patio was a huge plus since I take my pup everywhere. The food was fantastic--we ordered a variety of dishes, and everything was delicious. It's a bit of a drive from Fort Worth, but definitely worth it. Came to celebrate my friend's birthday, and the staff was wonderful. Great ambiance, great experience!

The staff are very friendly and attentive! The restaurant is decorated beautifully and perfect for a group of four or a date night. The food is hot and fresh! I will definitely be back, I recommend the Bento box, very filling and worth the price. I have the Lychee Martini and it was delicious.

I usually have to share with my husband and that's more than enough for us. They have an awesome selection of cocktails here too, so don't ignore the drink menu. Not a problem since we enjoyed sitting on the patio and enjoying our drinks. The bartenders were great, fast and very friendly. I appreciate that before pouring my wine, the one bartender put in a lot of effort to buffing my glass. I ordered a plum wine to start, which is always delicious and sweet. We were seated a little earlier than 20 minutes, but unfortunately weren't greeted for a bit following that. They were super busy though. Our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable, and we stuck with splitting apps versus getting ramen. We ordered the shishito peppers, karaage, takoyaki, and edamame. To drink, we ordered and split the hot sake. The first plates came out pretty quickly, and were hot and delicious. Our hot sake took a while to be delivered, and we had to ask our waiter to double check it was still on the way. Then when it arrived, we had to fight off a bunch of gnats that kept landing on the bottle. I guess they wanted to party, too! The shishito peppers were definitely my favorite. They were perfectly coated in sauce and flavoring. The karaage was tender and tastes especially good when paired with the watermelon. takoyaki was served hot and it's a blast watching the Bonita flakes dance on the balls. The edamame, while good, needed to be stirred up because the salt distribution was heavy on certain pieces. We wished we could order dessert, but felt a bit rushed by the server. It was a little before 10pm, so we understand they're off at 11pm, but as a former server there's definitely better ways to keep up with the closing process that feels less intrusive to the patrons. Overall, we had a blast at Wabi house and the food was great. Maybe we went on an off night for service, but overall will definitely be back again!!

The inside is tiny and there isn't even a proper "waiting" area. I've also tried coming here before, and there was also a long wait. I'm glad I decided to stick it out this time. We ordered the Wagyu sushi, Yakitori, Tonkotsu Miso Ramen, and the Tomato Ramen. The Wagyu sushi is torched right in front of you! The Wagyu was incredibly tender and the sauce was delicious. My only *nitpicky* critique is the rice was ever so slightly too moist, but that didn't stop me from inhaling the sushi. Next, the Yakitori was phenomenal. I've never had such tender chicken in my life. There was a nice layer of delicious sauce coating the skewer. Again, just a really nitpicky feedback I have was that I wish the Yakitori had the tiniest bit more char to it, but nevertheless was an incredible bite, and I'd 100% order again in a heartbeat. Onto the ramen - easily hands down one of the best ramen I've had in DFW. The broth is flavorful, and I love the noodles. I'm not sure if they're handmade from scratch, but they had the perfect thickness and chewiness. I also loved generous the portion of cha shu slices. Most other places only give you 1-2 thin slices, but that was not the case here. The pork was tender. The ajitama was solid too, although I prefer more of a soft-boiled egg. While the meat portion is more generous here, the tonkotsu didn't come with many vegetables. A lot of other ramen places I've been to will have corn, fried garlic, etc as default, but those are all additional cost add-ons here. The ramen was delicious without them though but just something to note. We also got the tomato ramen as it's the chef recommendation. The dish is very creative and the execution was great. Personally, I still prefer traditional ramens but it was certainly a nice culinary creation to try. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and would come here again. Just be aware there may be a wait, and because they're so busy, you do have to proactively flag down staff. However, the staff are still really nice despite all the tasks they're juggling at once.

We got spicy gyoza to start, black pork tonkatsu w/ small curry rice bowl and a spicy dan dan. Gyoza came smothered in their sweet garlic chilli which defeats the purpose of a crispy gyoza skirt. It might be better to retain the crisp and crunch of the gyoza skin with the chilli sauce on the side? On to the ramen -- if you want to know if you're getting a quality bowl, look no further than the preparation of the egg. No respectable ramen shop would serve you well done boiled eggs which was the case here. The tonkatsu had heavy garlic flavor which is good but was unfortunately overshadowed by the abundance of burnt garlic bits. Not much to say about the Dan Dan. Bathroom clean but had a strong smelled. Would not go out of my way nor return with the amount of noodle options in dfw.

I am surprised despite the popularity, the wait was not long at all and we were able to get seat almost immediately. For the first time, we ordered 2 appetizers - shrimp tempura and gyoza, not particularly outstanding, but they came out fast! As we were diving into our appetizers, the ramen was ready for us. I had the Spicy Miso Special (with mild spice) and my boyfriend had the Hinodeya special with medium spice. I personally like mine better because it was creamy and super flavorful compared to the Hinodeya special. My boyfriend tends to get stomach ache and fee bloated if he eats too much MSG. But he didn't feel any of those symptoms. To him, it was one of the biggest indicators if that is a good ramen or not. For the second time, we ordered takoyaki and karaage. Again, nothing too outstanding. This time, my boyfriend had what I had last time and I ordered the Tonkatsu special (no pic, sorry!). Maybe because of the lack of spice, I still prefer the Spicy Miso Special over Tonkatsu (Tonkatsu ramen is always my go-to in ramen spots). Regardless, we enjoyed our meals very much in both times. The appetizer also came with a decent amount of pieces (I think 5?). After this I ordered the spicy miso special ramen which was superb. They give you the option to change the spiciness which I appreciated because sometimes you want something very spicy and sometimes you don't. Everything in the ramen was fantastic: the egg was gooey, the pork melted in my mouth, and the noodles were firm without being overcooked. The broth was seasoned so well and super yummy to where I didn't feel the need to add anything to my bowl. My total for my food plus a soda came to about $30 which is typical for the amount I got. I'd say it was definitely worth it! I will say, if you're a bit messy like I am, to wear a dark colored shirt since you may leave with a few broth stains. (Still worth it).

About 15 minutes before our reservation time, members of my party began arriving to check in and were repeatedly told, "You're too early," again with noticeable attitude from the front. When I arrived, I politely let them know I was there to check in for the reservation, and I was met with the same response--that we were too early and that they wouldn't seat us until at least 20 guests had arrived. I gathered 20 people and brought them back in, only to be told at that point that the table still wasn't ready. We were asked to step outside again. Eventually, we were seated past our reservation time. Once seated, the food itself was great, but it took 45+ minutes for many of the orders to come out. Overall, the experience was frustrating. The service from the hostess (the woman with the bob haircut at the front) was especially disappointing and set a negative tone for the entire visit.

Definitely recommend if you like saucy rolls though. Curry was a bit on the more liquid side. We're a bit use to more of a thickened consistency, but it was still good. The rice and curry ratio was a little bit off, much more sauce and meat than rice for sure. I got the poke bowl with both salmon and tuna. It was really refreshing! I loved the mango in it. Overall, a solid sushi restaurant. Definitely recommend the sashimi! Service was good, definitely took care of you. Ambiance was also nice. It was small, but bright especially with the patio seating. The bar looked nice too. It's a good place to grab a refreshing bite!

ORDER My friends and I ordered lots of rolls and specialty…read morenigiris including the crunchy red, truffle salmon, hawaiian roll, cabo roll, godzilla bomb, tataki maki,, lion king, spanish fly, and the beach. All the ingredients are such good quality and the rolls are made with care. For every single roll, the ratio of sauce to rice to fish was perfect! Everything was fresh and delicious! VIBES The place is very spacious. Lots of seating from tables to higher tables, bar, and more. The decorations are like Japanese inspired coupled with modern and vintage elements (like the brick wall and Japanese arts). Super chill place and great for hanging out with large groups! SERVICE Service was pretty great overall! Food came out fast and nothing to complain about!

He listened to all of our wims, such as roaring as he gave a lion king roll to a co worker. He and a few of his coworkers were amazing and remembered it almost all of our orders. They did great handling our large group. The whole place was also nicely themed with Japanese nostalgic photos and decorations. The food was slightly disappointing. The one I like most was the tidal wave because it tasted that it had the most flavor. Everything else was a little plain compared to its description on the menu. The Sho Chiku Bai drink I had reminds me of mio sake so if you like mio, you'll like the Sho Chiku Bai. The Tokyo fizz drink was amazing and definitely the height of the food and drink drinks.. but I really like how there are more vegan options and I will come here again because I have some vegetarian friends who would enjoy this. Also, you can park in the garage and the restaurant validate it for you.
