Came here after work with the work friends! Great burgers! I love how they have themes. I ordered uber eats from here once and got a lamb burger-- but for this visit, it wasn't on the menu. Maybe it was also a theme and seasonal just like the Rip Wheeler burger I chose for this trip? LOL They even have a counter on the wall to see how many order for this or that themed burger. It does get a little noisy in here because it is so popular. And the sides are big enough and table shareable.

Rodeo Goat is a local North Texas burger joint that happens to serve one of the best burgers in DFW. Known for creative names, burger battles, and beef that's freshly ground onsite, the Addison location is a welcome addition to one of my favorite places to grab a good burger. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - The Addison location is a stand alone building, which means there's tons of parking. Inside, you'll find Rodeo Goat's signature bar and communal bar hight tables. There's also a separate dining room if you want tradition seating or booths. The vibe is casual and fun. Not one ounce of pretentiousness. 1 Star. Service - Our server was super friendly and checked in on us often, making sure our drinks were filled and that we were having a good experience. She also recommended the burger I would end up ordering (details below), and it was delicious so kudos to her. 1 Star. Food - If you're eating with a group of 4 or more, I highly recommend the Cheese Fries with "Surprise". The fries are layered with generous amounts of cheese, perfectly baked and melted, and the chili (surprise) turns this appetizer into a hearty meal into itself. But the burger, Saddle Up, has become one of my favorite burgers. Its smash patty is so beefy and juicy, but the star is a thick cut of the most perfectly smoked thick slice of bacon I've ever tasted. Topped with an egg, I ended up eating this burger with a knife and fork. Their shakes are also thick and amazing. The only issue is that prices have gone up significantly. But it's still worth it. 1 1/2 Stars. Will I Return? - Only if I'm in the area. My favorite Rodeo Goat the the Cypress Waters location at the Sound (Irving/Coppell). The food and vibes are just as good, but the Cypress Waters location has outdoor seating with an epic view of Northlake. I can't find that in Addison. 1/2 Star.

Above and Beyond--Unforgettable Experience My husband and I have been saying for years that we wanted to try Rodeo Goat, and wow--what an incredible way to finally experience them. I'm an Assistant Principal at a local public elementary school, and this past Friday one of the managers called to share that they had extra, untouched food due to a catering issue. They asked if we would accept a donation to feed my entire staff of 80. Of course we said yes--and within about 15 minutes, they personally delivered the food to our campus. They brought three different sliders and three salads with dressing, and let me tell you... the joy they brought our staff was unmatched. When we announced where the food came from, the excitement was real. The employees were incredibly kind and truly had no idea how much that gesture meant to us. Now let's talk about the food--because it was legit to die for. The sliders were so moist they practically melted in your mouth. I tried the Country Slider, the Rancher Slider, and the avocado salad, and it was hands down one of the best lunches I've had in a long time. Naturally, I went home and told my family all about it, which meant we had to go in person over the weekend. And let me just say--the experience was just as amazing, if not better. We shared a basket of cheese fries (absolute perfection), and once again the food was rich, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth good. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was welcoming, and every staff member we encountered was friendly and attentive. Rodeo Goat didn't just serve great food--they showed heart, generosity, and community care. We are officially fans for life and will absolutely be back. Highly, highly recommend!

Absolutely horrible experience! My husband and I were seated in a small booth in the bar in between wait staff on break. Mind you, there was plenty of seating elsewhere in the restaurant. The staff was either all on break at the same time or not taking their job seriously. Clearly no supervision. Staff was playing around and very loud. We only had interaction with someone taking our order one time. Waited for server to come back but never did. Bartender ended up checking us out. While eating my burger I bit into a large, very hard object wedged in the bun. When I pointed it out to bartender she brushed it off stating " oh that's a peppercorn from the pickle brine." This is absolutely not acceptable and such an object should not be brushed off or in food being served. Choking hazard and could have damaged a tooth. We will not be eating here again.

We've visited Rodeo Goat a few times now and enjoy the food. The service just kind of depends on the business of the restaurant and what server you get so it's not consistently good but we've never had bad service either. We love the cheese fries from here. They have great burgers that have creative elements but are good. I've tried the salad and enjoyed it. It's a generous portion. And we've tried the cowboy caviar which I enjoyed a lot. It's a cool spot to grab dinner and I'd recommend checking it out.

Rodeo Goat - Addison The food? Absolute chaos in the best way. We went head-to-head with their Battle of the Burgers: Big Tex (beef patty + chicken-fried mashed potatoes, chorizo gravy, onion ring, bacon ) vs. The Sundance Kid (honey-chipotle bacon, fried mozzarella, strawberry chutney, frisée). Hubs swore Tex was king of the rodeo, but I couldn't crown just one--both slapped in their own way. Fries? Hot, crispy, potato-perfection . Now the downside: our party of 10 got sat quick (under 15 minutes, rare win!), then sat 35 minutes with no drinks, no waitress, nothing. Birthday convo kept us distracted until hangry words had to be tossed. When the manager finally appeared, he shoved a waitress into the fire instead of owning the drop. She was phenomenal--automatic gratuity covered her, but if management had stepped up and shown some accountability, I'd have gladly tipped extra. So here's the deal: burgers = worth every bite, fries = therapy, vibes = wild fun. But management? Do better. Don't make your servers take the heat for your slip.

The Battle of Burgers is going on now (June 26-July 30). You vote by ordering your choice between the Empire and the Radio burger. If you order the Radio Burger, $1 will go to KERA, a national public radio (NPR) station located in DFW. I had been hearing advertisements on air about this, so I decided to try this place on a Sunday, at the end of the 4th of July holiday weekend. You can order online through a service like DoorDash, or directly through their website. I did the latter and picked my order up to go. On my second visit here, I dined in. For both, I ordered the Radio Burger so that a donation would go to my favorite radio station, KERA. The burger was adequate in size, piled high with toppings including something crunchy like maybe crispy fried onions. It was quite tasty. The bun held up. My milkshake was thick, but was quickly drinkable through a straw due to it being July in Texas. Service on site was a mixed bag. They were overwhelmed on the special KERA burger promotion day in Addison. We had a newer staff member who did the best she could despite the crowds. The bartender stepped in a few times and knew how to get food and people processed in record time. We were invited to seat ourselves. We chose a high pub table along the window. While you wait for your order, you can order a drink from their fully stocked bar, watch the game on tv, or play the bar game on site. I was happy to come here to support my radio station. The food was good too, but I'm not sure I would return. There just wasn't anything on the menu that stood out that had me pining to return. Seems like a great place to hangout for a happy hour after work.

I was in the area making cold calls - sales people term - and was need of some comida. As usual, did a quick Yelp search and this interesting name place popped up. So off I go. Good menu. Lots of burger choices. Creative names and add ons made the choice hard. I chose the Billy F Gibbons - it has cream cheese - never had that on a burger before. Took longer than I thought to get my meal but was worth it. Oh, it has Gouda cheese as too. Love me some Gouda. Great burger. Had some habanero sauce on the side. Too hot for me and thankful I got it on the side. Fries were good. I would say it was a bit pricey, fries, burger and tea was $22.00. But, costs are going up. And prices are a relative thing. All in all, a good meal, no complaints. Will definitely check them out again and try one of their other concoctions. Tip - split fries, it's a lot.

We finally made it to a Rodeo Goat and the service and food was amazing! Next time I want to try a salad hamburger or bunless. Will definitely go back and I definitely recommend. They really attended to us well, we can't complain.

Let me start by saying the burger was cooked to perfection! The mushrooms not so much! The could have been grilled just a tad bit more! I had the "MisOooMami". It's a Swiss stuffed umami patty with Maitake mushrooms. Usually Maitake are packed with flavor, but these had none. My stomach was tore up the remainder of the day. Not sure what caused it, but the burger and fries were all I had. The server was very attentive and service was VERY Fast! It's Always clean and bright inside so it's always full of life. This was my 1st time at this location

This rodeo goat is so amazing! It is easy to get to and has plenty of parking for anyone who wants to come and eat here. The food is delicious and they're always willing to go the extra mile for anything you may need or any allergies that you have. The service was very helpful and friendly. The people were accommodating and very good at serving quickly. It's an overall chill vibe with some music. Loved this location and we will be back!

Not our first time to Rodeo Goat but our first time to the new Addison location. They had a high bar set with our favorite Fort Worth location. My son and I finally stopped in on a weeknight for dinner. The decor inside is pretty typical RG style but plenty of tables and even heard them say a party of 75 was coming later. The bar is right in the middle with sports on the tv's. Our waitress was awesome! Grabbed our drink order and right back to get our dinner ordered. We opted to split a 1/2 order of the amazing chili/cheese fries. Our food was out within 15 minutes and as always looked amazing! Those cheese fries are some of the best in the entire metroplex. No kidding. The cheese is melted perfectly and covers all of the fries not just some of them. Plenty of bacon bits and chili covering everything else. My Chaca Oaxaca is always my go to burger here. The patty is half beef and half chorizo then a fried egg on top. So freakin good! Since my son lives around the corner I'll be frequenting here often!

I am so excited that they opened a Rodeo Goat in Addison - so close to a lot of offices! I went here for dinner today and got the Royale with Cheese and a side of sweet potato fries. My friend ordered the goat balls and they were pretty good. Our waitress was nice and she checked in on us often. I think a manager also came by and gave us some koozies which was cool. The restaurant was a bit empty on this Thursday night but I still enjoyed dining there. Definitely give it a try if you are in the area!

The only reason I dropped my rating from 5 to 4 stars is that even in 100 degree weather they keep a huge service window open so the bar is accessible both inside and outside. This practice is hugely irresponsible to the environment, to the Texas power grid and residents, and to those of us paying our bill here knowing we are footing that bill.

I was finally ready to give Loro another try after multiple misses at this location last year. Having had the East Dallas location deliver a home run, it was disappointing to see the one in Addison fail to deliver quality I know they were capable of. So after about a year away, I tried this location again and had a much better experience. I brought my mother-in-law here, so the stakes were high- and to be honest, this was a last minute pivot because the original restaurant I had made reservations at for lunch was closed after their electrify went out- so through a strange twist of fate, I had to find something that was fast and with an elevated look and taste. I was hoping taking the gamble would pay off and it did. We arrived at Loro and both had the Kinoko Bowl, which is a rice bowl with grilled mushrooms and a Korean dipping sauce. It was very good. The mushrooms were seasoned well, and the rice + veggies were great. I also had a seasonal drink which was the Pretty in Peach Dirty Soda. It was a great compliment to the meal and really hit the spot on a hot summer's day. The service was fast and courteous. I really like how the to go boxes are self serve and you don't have to wait on table serve to grab them. The atmosphere here is great too. For a Thursday lunch, it was calm and very easy to hear our conversations in the dining area. I'm glad that this most recent visit to Loro was better than the ones I had last year. However, despite this being a much better experience, I am still reserved about whether it's a true turnaround. When I referenced the picture for the bowl we got (in my Loro specials email) the picture looked different- mostly that the seasoning was sprinkled all over the ingredients in the bowl. But when it arrived, the seasoning was only on the mushrooms. So, this makes me think someone is still cutting corners in the kitchen. I would hope everything is made to spec, but I suspect there is still a rogue kitchen element. I just want the dish as intended, and people improvising the recipe really makes me wonder how the consistency is. Also, it seemed like the veggies in the bowl had not been brined for long enough, which was one of my call outs from last time. Overall, I'm glad that I had a much better experience here than the last few times, but I'm being cautious and hopeful that they bring a bit more attention to the details to achieve consistency.
