Uber delivered to me. Packageing was good and durable. The Grilled Cheese bbq. Basket was very good. Meat was very tasty and tender.

Pretty good spot with some delicious brisket and cranberry composte. The thing i didnt like though was the food just doesnt seem to go together well. I tried the breakfast sandwich but it was just not for me. It was too sweet while trying to be savory with the bbq brisket. I also tried the rueban but i didnt like the sour kraut or something on it, im not exactly sure what it was on there that didn't click with me. Pulling apart the sandwiches though and just eating the bbq meat was really good. I loved the cranberry composte, it complemented the food so well. I also got the soup of the day which was some special chicken tortilla soup i believe. The soup was great. If I'm in town again and they have a special, I'll probably roll back through. Last night we were actually, headed to another restaurant, but once, we arrived in the strip mall, Barrel & Bones caught my husband's eye. The restaurant wasn't too noisy and had a couple of different games on the TVs. The menu was fun, and we soon settled on our dinner choices: Spicy Pastrami Brisket for me and House Prime Pastrami for hubby. The sandwich was made with Sauerkraut, Jack Cheese, House Pickles, Alabama BBQ sauce on Texas Toast. I chose a caesar side salad as my side, and hubby's plate included Texas toast and his selected side of fried okra. These were so yummy. For me, fried okra can easily be a miss, but these were expertly done. They were hot, crispy and very light, not heavy, oily or slimy. The house pickled onions and cucumbers were tasty. My only complaint was that I could have had more Alabama white sauce on the side. The waiter was friendly, and funny. All the staff was attentive. I had asked for my side caesar to be lightly dressed and so when the server brought the plate out, he included a little extra caesar dressing in case he had dressed the salad too lightly. We enjoyed our evening, and while it was not the absolutely best brisket, we've had, it was definitely respectable and we enjoyed the evening. read more

Service was fast and great! The place was roomy and well decorated or at least the ambiance was just right for a perfect date night dinner out.. food was on point! Great portions, prices, and recommendations for both drinks and entrees from our server. Had a Garrisons Brothers shot and it was one of the smoothest shots taken, thanks to our bartenders recommendation. It is a $48 shot tho just y'all know. Solid food. The Al Pastor taco was my favorite and then the Quesabrira was #2. The Chicken Tinga wasn't my favorite but still good. The Avocado Bomb was super flavorful and filling for sure. They have a large whiskey selection and a good selection of beer on tap. Staff was great, got right in at the bar and was taken care of the whole time. The place has a small restaurant/bar feel and was straightforward and simple. All in all a great place and it was worth the walk in 103F heat from the Hilton Lincoln Center, ~15 minutes. read more

I should have paid more attention to the reviews. On line order of sausage and ribs side of truffle fries. Recuved brisket instead of ribs. Brisket was dry and inedible. Three of us tried B&B for lunch. Very few customers that day. Western ambiance with comfortable booths. Service was very good - friendly, attentive, and let us set the pace. The House stacked Turkey Melt with coleslaw my friend ordered was apparently just ok and he said he would choose something else next time (got same reaction on the Brisket Grilled Cheese). I tried the Smoked Prime Brisket Burger with fries. The fries were exceptional, and I definitely recommend them. The burger on the other hand was not what I expected, and I would not get it again. I thought it would be sliced prime brisket in a burger like sandwich, but it was just a burger patty it seemed, and I thought the fixings gave it a strange taste that was not for me. Our waiter only recommended the pastrami, and we probably should have listened to him. Overall, just not for me. read more

Came for lunch one day. Service was great. Ordered a half brisket grilled cheese and soup of the day which was brisket poblano. Soup was excellent. Brisket grilled cheese had good flavor but was delivered to table cold and the cheese had congealed. It was just ok. Husband got the Pitmaster sandwich. He liked it. Loved the homemade pickles. Thought they might be sweet which is not my favorite but they were just dill. Very tasty. BBQ sauce was a little too sweet for my liking but the only sauce I really like is Stubbs original so I just prefer a less sweet sauce. Pleasantly surprised that it was busy and open last on a Wednesday night. Enjoyed the local ambience, jute box and sports in 10 tvs. Food was well priced. Burger was solid. Maddy and Joe and Zach Hall - the GOAT- were my inaugural ambassadors to this hidden gem in this great establishment. The only issue is with the people who have not discovered this place. I ordered this on Uber Eats. Restaurant was only 1.6 miles away and delivery took the normal time to drive 1.6 miles. It wasn't a long wait for driver to get food. I ordered the 3 meat plate with truffle fries, ribs, pork burnt ends, and pastrami. The fries was good. The ribs was really good and moist. The burnt ends was a little dry on outside but good. The pastrami was very dry and dark. Overcooked and dried out. It was like eating jerky. Taste was decent. I also ordered a 1/2 lbs moist brisket. It was very dry like it's been under a heat lamp too long. Tasted good but dry. I don't think I'll be ordering from there again. read more

Almost all the food came out cold. The brisket appeared to have been cooked for a while, and possibly reheated. The pork burnt ends were basically inedible. One side of them was like chewing leather. The 'Texas Toast' was dry and hard, as if it had been toasted the day before and left to sit out. I mean, it was solidly hard all through. The baked beans were just not tasty, and a little watery. The only decent thing? Sweet potato fries, the single dish that arrived piping hot. We all agreed we would not be back. Observed the manager pour himself 2 double bourbons - I was sitting at end so I could see. After 15 minutes I left. I asked what was good on the menu, they bartenders said brisket and "burnt ends" and sausage. I tried the burnt ends and was completely disappointed. All fat, no meat. I then looked at the memu and realized they serve "pork belly" burnt ends. This explained the difference, but even so, they were disgusting. Over cooked, all fat, and zero flavor. I sent them back. I wish restaurants would stop masking pork belly as a beef burnt end. It's a sham. Just call them wtf they are. I then moved on to the wings. These were full wings and sold as "smoked". Carry out order so I can't speak to service or ambiance. I wavered over whether to give a 3 or 4. The food flavors were generally pretty good, about on par with Red Hot and Blue or Pluckers. But at this price point it should be better. The fries were some of the worst I've had, soggy and nearly flavorless. But the biggest disappointment was the chopped salad which was primarily kale and cabbage. For $6.99 the added chicken was less than an ounce of dry stringy meet. It was practically laughable. My son insisted the half pound pork was no where near half a pound, but given that's the pre-cooked weight, it's hard to know. I generally give the benefit of the doubt based on one experience. This is a new restaurant in our area so we decided to try it out. Everyone was very friendly when we entered and they quickly found us a table and brought water right over. And then we waited and waited. A group came in after us and was seated and they took their order about the same time they finally took ours. Food was hit and miss. Sausage is really good, but brisket tastes like it was cooked in the oven (no smoke flavor at all). BTW, a breast and a wing is not the advertised 1/2 chicken and for $14.99, I expect more than a dry piece of chicken breast. We were forgotten once again when it was time to pay and leave. This is a difficult one. First time I came here I had the sandwich and everything was great. Would've given it a four-star. My side order the broccolini was a little too tough and hard to chew another minute cooking would made it perfect if the head only added some salt and pepper. However, tonight, and it was almost inedible . Service was great but food was cold bland and actually bagged it up for the dogs. Order the combo platter had pulled pork was sitting in a cold barbecue sauce would not order again &the brisket this time was nothing like the previous sandwich, col stringy and vet very fatty not to mention bland.
