Always good food here. I had the fish and chips. Nice crunch to the fish but a little skimpy on the chips. The have Blue moon on tap, which is a plus, and offer a generous 12% discount with a Texas A&M Aggie ring. Nice outdoor patio and good are inside to accommodate a large party. The service was good but she took some warming up to...all around great place!

I came in with two friends as a recommendation from a friend, and I was very pleasantly surprised. It's got the feel of a dive bar, which I love. The menu has a perfect variety and has a little something for everyone. There is also parking behind the restaurant. Drinks and food were very reasonably priced. Service was quick and attentive. I had the Chili Cheese dog and it was very good. Can't wait to come back and try out the rest of the menu. Keep up the good work!

Kind of disappointed that they don't have mash potatoes! I think chicken fried steak with mash potatoes is a must but it tasted fine with the baked potato. The meat was seasoned so well. I had a lemon drop martini and a French 75, not the place to go for mixed drinks. The drinks were a 3/5. Service was fast. The food came out fast and fresh. The ambiance has hanging animals everywhere. Not a huge fan. I'd definitely return. Food was great.

After the Star Fair of Texas, we had dinner at a staple of Deep Ellum. St. Pete's Dancing Marlin is one of the first places we knew back in the late 90s when we came to Dallas for the first time, and the experience was as good as I remembered from back then! A special shoutout to Collin, our server. He made us feel at home from beginning to end! Our food was excellent, and even the playlist was terrific! If you like spicy food, Pasta Diablo has your name.

This place was pretty yummy & had lots of options, for food & drink. They had fun decor hanging everywhere. In some ways it felt very much like a restaurant & in other ways it felt like a bar. Jason, our waiter, was attentive, efficient & kind. The only thing I didn't love was my espresso martini. It tasted like rubbing alcohol. However, I'm almost certain I could have asked for a different drink & my complaints would have been met with kindness & service recovery.

I trusted the bartender and got the chicken fried Tuna.... Paid off big time. Wonderful flavor. Asked for it rare and it came out more of a medium rare, I think they knew that had to happen to Cook the batter. Got the veggies and a cup of chili with it for $25. Totally worth it. Friend got Fish and Chips and highly recommend that too. Wasn't busy on a Wednesday.

St Pete's is the best!!! Awesome atmosphere, great food (tuna tacos are delicious), and Pete, the owner, is a pure gem. Will definitely be a repeat customer!

I had a good experience at St. Pete's. I was in Deep Ellum for a show, and wanted to stop for a bite and a drink before the doors opened. A storm had just blown through and the place was pretty empty around 5:30 on a Sunday. I sat at the bar, and Travis ( I believe) immediately asks my name and shakes my hand. I saw him do this to everyone who came in. He remembered names and was great to talk to. I didn't want something heavy, so I ordered the tuna crostini appetizer and Pete's cocktail. The drink was as exciting as a grapefruit, vodka, soda gets. The tuna crostini, man, so good. Garlic toasts with seared sushi grade tuna, pico, and a cilantro sauce...perfection. The flavor, the texture, everything was on point. It was beautiful, and pictures can not capture what it truly was. The atmosphere was casual and comfortable. The only downside was that the bathrooms are closed so I had to wait until I got into the Factory to wash my hands.

They utilize team approach where someone else brought the drinks and food runners brought the food. Manager checked on us to make sure everything was good. Our water glasses were never empty. Others in the party had lobster rolls and the fried shrimp basket. I forgot to mention that we had the appetizers , crab hush puppies and fried oysters and both were excellent. We also tried the bread pudding and key lime pie for dessert that we really liked. Overall we would definitely return.

The mocktail was delicious. Our crab fingers appetizers were in a tasty sauce. The salad could've used more flavor to it and fresher lettuce, but i appreciated the amount of Parmesan cheese on top. I personally thought the presentation of the salmon was too much and a bit odd. I wish there was more sauce (or at least a side of sauce). The risotto was too bland, but the brussel sprouts were tasty and lemony. The salmon had a great crust, but it was too undercooked for me and wasn't the best salmon I've had. The filet mignon was ordered medium rare, but too us it seemed a lot more rare and wasn't seasoned well. The mashed potatoes were delicious. Our server was kind and helpful.

We sat at the table for two near the door which had great lighting, and it was really fun to people watch as pedestrians roamed outside. Our server recommended a few cocktails - I got the Limelight which was delicious and my friend got one of the clarified cocktails, which was also very tasty. Honestly the alcohol flavor was masked super well so they're very dangerous drinks! Will have to come by to try some of the others. Our server was super helpful explaining & coursing out the menu, and we got a bunch of items to share. First up we got the scallop aguachile, which was tart and spicy and super refreshing, and the salmon tartare which was creamy and decadent and came with shatteringly crisp wonton chips. Really excellent starters, and they made me want to come back and get the rest some time! Then we split the ahi tuna tostadas and the crab avocado tostadas, which come 2 per order. Hugo O. came over to ask if we were sharing and helpfully had them plated one each per plate so we could eat them more easily, and also brought over a chili pequín hot sauce to complement the tostadas. They were so good! I'll be dreaming about both the tostadas and the pequín sauce for a while. The ahi tuna was super fresh and went so well with the accompaniments, and the crab didn't get lost in the other flavors on that tostada. The crisp tortillas underneath also held up really well to each bite; I'm so used to tostadas shattering upon first taste but the structural integrity of Hugo's were super impressive. For our main we split the fish of the day, which was seared Hokkaido scallop atop a bed of corn risotto. This also came pre-split into two bowls so we didn't have to do it ourselves, which was a super nice touch. The scallops were cooked to perfection, super soft and tender with an incredible crust, and the corn risotto was super creamy and savory. Almost a little too salty for me with the amount of cheese, but still so good I almost licked the bowl clean. Seriously good food here - sad it's a bit of a trek from where I live but I can't wait to come back to try more of the menu!

After a long day in transit, all we wanted was something deeply satisfying, the kind of meal that feels like a reward. When my mother suggested Aunt Irene's Kitchen, there was no hesitation. She spoke of it with the reverence reserved for places that become part of your personal geography former neighborhood staples, the kind you measure other meals against. Years ago, when she lived nearby, this was her spot. And now, standing beside her in a line that stretched out the door, it was clear we weren't the only ones holding onto that sentiment. The queue moved with surprising ease, a quiet efficiency that felt almost practiced. Inside, the energy was unpretentious and steady. Our cashier, while not particularly warm, was brisk and knowledgeable answering questions with the kind of clarity that suggests confidence in the product more than performance. We ordered simply: wings with fries, and two plates of fried fish with fries. The wings hadn't been part of the original plan, but a fellow patron mid-meal and visibly excited leaned over to insist. It felt like advice worth taking. And it was. The food arrived in its own time this is not a place for the impatient but what it lacked in speed, it more than made up for in flavor. The fish was crisp and tender, the wings richly seasoned, each bite layered with the kind of depth that doesn't rush itself. Then there was the jalapeño tucked alongside the plate like a quiet signature. It cut through the richness with a bright, deliberate heat, a small but memorable detail that elevated the entire experience. The dining room itself is modest and well-kept, with many opting to take their meals to-go or retreat to their cars. There's an ease to it all ample parking, friendly faces coming and going, a sense of community that lingers longer than the wait.
