Welcome, Kings Cave, to Carrollton and thanks for inviting us to your soft opening! Kings Cave might be hard to spot, but keep in mind that it's on the SW corner of Trinity Mills and Midway. If you're driving east on Trinity Mills, or south on Midway, it will be on your right. Love the light fixtures, the sports they were showing and the super friendly girl named Sierra who greeted us when we arrived. Sierra answered our questions, to the best of her ability (the place was new to her, too) and did her best to keep us happy. As part of the soft opening, we were served the $10.99 Classic BLT Burgers, which according to the menu, comes with fries. But, we were told that we would need to pay for fries. Okay, $4.99 for side orders of fries was okay. Strange that our Classic BLT Burgers came with a bun although the newly printed menu said it has Texas Toast. I was confused about the difference between the Classic BLT and the Cave Man Burger. The menu shows it priced at $15.99, with a brioche bun and and onion straws but it doesn't come with fries. I would be reluctant to order the Cave Man. While we were waiting for our order, Sierra offered us a beer on the house. We gladly accepted a couple of Dos Equis. This brew paired well with our entrées. The burgers arrived and they looked pretty good. The burger patty pretty much filled the bun, but it didn't look fresh. More like pre-made and pre-frozen? As I mentioned before, there was no Texas Toast. Rather, a bun. I did notice a crunch when I bit down. Was the bun toasted? No. Was it the crisp lettuce? No. How about the bacon. No, it was the well done hamburger patty. I hope the chef learns quickly, how to properly cook a hamburger. The fries were pretty good, but I asked for them to be crispy. They weren't.

This may look like your average sports bar, but the food was top notch. So much flavor in every bite. I love the lemon buffalo wings. Onion rings had really nice texture. The catfish had so much flavor and was so crispy. The margaritas weren't too sweet and delicious. The service was amazing. The staff are so fun and so kind. Highly recommend watching sports, listening to music or catching happy hour here.

Went to the soft opening of this new sports bar. Easy to find on the corner of Midway & Trinity Mills, lots of parking also. Place is very clean big bar area with booths and tables. A lounge area is available also. Lots of tv's each with different games on when we were there. The waitress was very sweet and answered all my questions-they were offering free burgers that day I added fries foe $5 (the menu she gave us showed fries came with the burger usually so thought that a little strange) it took a while to get our food but we watched a game while we waited. The hamburger looked good but was alittle over cooked and definately looked to be a pre-made pattie- the bacon was crispy which I appreciated. Fries were ok nothing special. The manager did stop by and say hello. I'm sure after they get a few kinks worked out in the kitchen this place will stay really busy.

Ok the Sunday vibe around 430 started picking up. The DJ was not my cup a tea BUT the DJ who can around 445 was the shyt! The food was meh I only had the queso with chicken. The Cadillac Margarita I had was BOMB.COM I didnt even get a picture!!! Football was on several screens throughout. They also showed futbol. We played uno...the waitress came out with games to choose from. Upbeat and lively after 5pm... If you are in the area stop by I was here on a Sunday.

I eat a lot of wraps--honestly, that's probably why you're reading my reviews in the first place--and this wrap is absolutely top-tier. Great size, great portions, and it actually feels like a full meal. You're not going to be sitting there thinking, "I should've just gotten a burger." Get the wrap. Get the fries too. Both are excellent. Next, not the worst issue in the world, but these new menus need some work. They don't stay open on their own and just feel kind of cheap. Not a huge deal, but it's something that should probably be addressed. Finally, the nachos. If you know me, you know I love all kinds of food, but nachos are weirdly my favorite food. I've always loved Sidecar's nachos, but it honestly feels like they've gotten a little worse every time I've ordered them over the last four years. Originally, you could choose between wonton chips and tortilla chips. Now the menu says tortilla chips only, so I expected tortilla chips. Instead, they came out with wonton chips. Not the end of the world, but the bigger issue is that the cheese sticks way too much to the wonton chips. It feels like they're being baked too long. Every time you try to pull a nacho apart, everything breaks. This definitely needs to be fixed. Overall, though, the Crispy Caesar Wrap alone is worth coming back for, and Sidecar remains one of my favorite spots.

I let our server know about my son's allergies and after letting her know, she went to talk to the chef. The chef came out and asked a few questions and asked if we had any concerns. I thought this was great! He was very kind and helpful. My son ordered the beef birria tacos as he was familiar with it and has ordered it before and I ordered the truffle veggie burger. The truffle veggie burger was good, it has a light breading on the outside. The bun was soft and has sesame seeds on top. The truffle was not over powering. The French fries were good and crisp. I like the fact that they were lightly salted. We had a great time catching up with my son's girlfriend's family. The location was busy but the atmosphere was chill. Overall, the experience was great. I loved that the chef and server took extra steps to ensure my son was safe.

If you're looking for a relaxing place with good food, this is a great place to gather with your friends or family. They have a great variety of options-to happy hour, to half off appetizers, and the drinks- so ascetically pleasing. The seats are spacious and comfy so you don't feel like you have to fight the table for room. I ordered the chicken nachos for the appetizer, and man this is one of my favorite dishes. The portion is amazing, I mean you can probably just order this and have this feed 3 or 4 people. They are not stingy with the protein, everything is well disbursed throughout the nachos making every bite just that much more enjoyable. The guacamole looks and tastes fresh and not just scooped out of a container. Price: Approx. $21.99 (Regular) Happy Hour Price: ~ $11.00 Calories: 2580 For my meal I ordered the Truffled Mushroom Pizza..umm what an explosion of taste buds. If you are a truffles lover, I recommend give this a try. I will say, it was a little overpowering-maybe sprinkled on the truffle sauce, the other flavors of the pizza would have just popped out as well, but overall happy I tried this. I had more than half to take home for leftovers. Still good, throw it in the air fryer or oven to reheat and it almost tastes better. $16.00 - $19.00 (varies by location) 50% off pizzas during designated Happy Hour times. Calories: 1,230 Lastly I got the Stacked Turkey Club. This is a great go to sandwich if you are starving - they stack this thing to the top, definitely satisfy your hunger. The bread is well toasted, the meat isn't dry or soggy. I hate nothing more than a sandwich that starts to get soggy. The crispiness of the bacon and lettuce works so tasty together, plus a side of friend fries. Get, it, you won't regret it. Price: $13.99 Side: Includes fries Calories: 1360 The staff were friendly, didn't have to wait super long. But it does get very busy on Saturdays. Yard House happy hour typically runs Monday - Friday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM

A Wednesday night with the place less than 1/3 full, so it was relatively quiet for this type of restaurant and decent for conversation. Eventually one guy had his entree' Caesar salad served, which he finished before the next dish arrived. A few more came sporadically over another 15 minutes, the rest arrived in bursts like it should. The food arrived in the all too common practice of showing up tableside as the staff holds it above eye level while shouting "WHO HAD THE blah blah?", instead of using an order seating system and just quietly serving it without having to shout at everyone up and down a long table 16 to 30 times. Personally, this type of dinner service really bothers me as it shatters any ambiance the place may have had, and kills conversation. It shows the wait and kitchen staff lack training and organization skills, but worse, that they have no concept of what dining out is, or should be. This isn't the Catfish Shack guys, get a grip. Unfortunately, I ordered the Cobb Salad which was sub par made with hamburger toppings, factory diced iceberg lettuce, diced tomato, diced egg, diced avocado, with all appearances of being shaken out of a bag, unfortunately with the wrong dressing. Dressing was on the side, thankfully, so that was fixable by flagging staff and waiting another ten minutes. It might have been resolved faster had waitstaff asked how is everything??? The Cobb was 75% of an entree serving but more than enough given what it was. A friend had the glazed salmon and rice which looked very good, other entrees looked fair, some of generous proportion. Unfortunately , as this is a larger restaurant with nice covered patio seating, it is possibly the worst of the lot as Preston/121 location is top notch in comparison. It is in need of decent management, perhaps to train/retrain the whole staff. Rather disappointing. I have no desire to return to this location.
