I think it's worth trying. The food was good but 6/10. It didn't put me in the mind of a Miami vibe but no biggie. I got the oxtail and grits which was good, salmon bites were a bit dry and the oxtail empanadas were good. I didn't care for the $30 gratuity added however I still added $10 to it. The service definitely wasn't worth it since I had to ask for more water and cocktail refills. I had to stop a passing staff member to ask them to take our order bc she forgot. She brought everything and apologized for forgetting. When the waitress initially greeted us a had to turn my head to the side to hear what she was saying and ask her to repeat too often. I was invited to a birthday dinner to celebrate my friend. We had an evening reservation and were seated right away. It was a timed reservation so be warned if you're going on the weekend. The place is very dark with loud music and just a small dimmed light on your table. Soon after we placed our entree orders and received our food not long after. The menu was on the expensive side but I think it matched the quality of food. The food was tasty but be warned it is heavily seasoned. So definitely not the place to go if you're watching your sodium intake. Everyone enjoyed their meals which ranged from a creamy pasta to lamb chops to oxtails to chicken wings. It was all great. I hosted my husband's birthday here a few months back and was impressed with the vibes, live dj, and drinks! The person who will enjoy this venue the most will be in their grown and sexy era. Drinks and food are more pricey, but thats okay because the food is good and the ambiance is even better the dj played ALL the hip hop hits from decades past and we found ourselves dancing with other grown folks right there in the middle of the restaurant. I highly recommend reservations for weekends and friday nights cause the place was packed! They also have a rewards program where you get money back to use there if you spend a certain amount. This place was a vibe, and the service was okay. They only have brunch options available on Saturdays until dinner time, so the selection was small. A friend ordered catfish bites for the table, and they were pretty good. I ordered the breakfast tacos with bacon, but they forgot my order. She had my order down wrong and seemed kind of annoyed by it. She was able to correct it after she noticed they never brought my food out. Just know that if you have a big party, they only do one check and will not split it. The place was a cool vibe, and the music was nice to jam out to. From the videos I saw online I thought it would be necessary to make a reservation, but when I arrived, it wasn't very busy so I wouldn't say that it's mandatory. I really don't know how to describe this place. Is it a bar, a restaurant, a lounge, or something club adjacent. It's almost all of the above but nothing is done well. Food was mediocre at best. We had a fairly large party and ordered multiple items off the menu. Out of everything we ordered, the mac n cheese and the brussel sprouts were the best things we ate. None of the entrees comes with sides so those are all additional like at a nice steak house. Only problem, nothing on the menu or the vibes of the place gives of nice steak house. The DJ is ok. They say they have a dance floor but really it's just a weird, long area that looks like tables were moved out of the way for people to dance after 10pm. It's so awkward because if you step too far in a certain direction you could end up running into a party having dinner at a table because they're practically on the "dance floor". The highlight of the night was the sparklers that they take around to all the guests at one point (I forget why). They light them and play some music as the sparkler burn out. They do have a full bar so it's a good place to grab a drink. They have an area roped off for bottle service but it mostly stayed empty the day we went. Service was ok over all. FOOD was average. 3 STARS Oxtails barely had any meat. I had to send them back. For the price-point it wasn't great. They did send more oxtails back out that were a little better. The seasoning was good. They really had a nice flavor, but wasn't impressed. Chicken and waffles were decent. The chicken was seasoned. Waffles were soft and warm. I liked this entree much better. So overall good experience. I think they are new and still need to work out a few things. I think the food has potential to be better. I would probably go back and try other food items. I want to give them another chance. I really want to like them and see if I can give more stars. The drinks I will definitely stop by if in the area. Our table was by the door, so not the best ambience, as we had bathrooms, the kitchen door and entry door all in line of sight. If possible, I'd request an interior table or away from the door. The best part of the night is the sparkler show that I'm told takes place every night at 9pm. It's fun and the entire restaurant participates, though it lasts only a couple of minutes.
