Cafe GeKo is one of my favorite sports bars in DFW. You will find great service, reliable food, and good drinks. Their menu has a lot of options and everything I have tried is tasty. Some of my favorites are the queso and the Philly but the pizza is solid and so are the burgers. A place with an ample supply of regulars occupying bar stools and high tops as well as families and groups eating at the bigger tables . If you are in the Plano area and are looking for a quality watering hole to relax and enjoy sports and good food in a peaceful atmosphere with great service , you need to stop by geKo!

This has turned into one of my favorite places for an after work drink. They have a lively happy hour crowd and I've met new people each time. The place is cozy enough for conversation but still spacious enough to sit with a group of friends. They have an outdoor patio but with all the windows, this place is full of natural light- perfect for day drinking. I really appreciate their frozen margarita machine. I usually order one or two of those & an Uber. The frozen margaritas go very well with their generous sized beef queso dip.

So I came here tonight with a friend for Happy Hour and it was AMAZING!! This is a very low-key and unassuming spot so I really was't expecting much, but WOW!! The staff was so warm and welcoming and the atmosphere was super chill and inviting. Per our server's recommendation, I ordered the sour cream chicken nachos and I was blown away!! The chicken was perfectly seasoned, the sour cream sauce was on point and the cheese was so melty and delicious! I also ordered The Dreamsicle cocktail and it was truly a dream! The mix of whipped cream vodka, orange and pineapple juice, and whipped cream was top tier! Not only are the drinks delicious - but they are also strong, so keep that in mind. As if the food and drinks weren't good enough - the prices are AMAZING! Seriously, my friend and I both got drinks and entrees and our total was around $35 dollars . You truly can't beat the value here. I absolutely loved my experience and I'm excited to come back!

Plenty of drinks, including a wine bottle, 2 haywire's, & a jack daniels. Soft drinks too. The appetizers were fantasic. My double cheeseburger emphasized the meat, well seasoned, right amount of pickles & greens, not overwhelmed with sauce. The tallow fries were as good as it ever gets: crispy, soft inside, must be 2x fried. Outside square had great World Cup fan area. We watched Colombia vs Uzbekistan. My team Croatia lost to England previously, but Haywire soothed my disappointment with an excellent dining experience. BTW: $638.04 with a 20% tip. Great value. This would cost so much more in my home state of California.

We assembled halloween decorations and the instructions were super confusing but we were able to figure it out together. My friend recommended this on his list of Irish Pubs around here, so I decided to give it a try. For a strip mall Irish Pub, it does take you into another world. Cool entrance that opens up to a horseshoe bar with tons of tables and booths. It was Trivia night, so they only had the Stanley Cup playoff on one TV. Sat down at the bar and ordered my Guinness and reviewed the menu. There were a couple of selections I was interested in (always gravitate to Bangers n' Mash), but went with the fish & chips with French Onion soup. Get these together, because the fish is delicious in the beef broth of the French Onion! It was good, though fish could've used a little more batter with the thick walleye filets. I loved it all and enjoyed the conversation with the bartender with the I Love Indie Horror hat. Some good ones out there that aren't being made like they use to!!

After we paid our bill with a credit card, I noticed that we were charged a 3% credit card fee. That was a first, and likely began in April since our last visit was on 3/24/26 and no credit card fee was assessed. Nowhere on the menu was it mentioned there would be a credit card fee, nor was it articulated by a bartender. That sort of fee makes me wonder what's going on in this establishment. Not sure we'll be back.

I chose a great day to visit due to the fact it's opening day for the World Cup. The Colony location provided a great atmosphere and opportunity to cheer on Mexico defeating South Africa 2-0. Shark spice wings were overcooked and crunchy with no flavor. I had to get buffalo sauce on the side for flavor and had to ask another waitress because ours was nowhere in sight. The cajun chicken sandwich was just ok. Came with a ridiculous mound of lettuce. Once again, I had to use my buffalo sauce to add flavor. Boyfriend got the short rib sandwich. That was decent, but the bread was soggy. Party also ordered the loaded fries. Just ok. Another member of our party didn't have her entree come out until well after everyone had finished (they served her side of fries separately). At that point, she just had them take the entree back, as she just ate her fries during the long wait. At one point, the waitress filled one of our drinks up with water even though the beverage was a strawberry lemonade. She had to be asked more than once for a new lemonade. When the bill came, I noticed I was charged extra for things such as side of buffalo and to switch regular fries to sweet potatoe fries. Not a huge deal, but it would have been nice to be told about these additional charges. Of course, because it was a party of 12, gratuity was automatically added. Not upset about that, but honestly undeserved. On the positive, the long Island was good. However, I asked for it to be skinny, and when I ordered another one, my waitress messed up my order. She seemed to not care about anything at all . Left dishes and glasses on the table for a very long time i definitely Wouldn't return for the food. Maybe the drinks. The place is beautiful, so ... yayy? I let the manager Cole know about it at the end as a point of constructive criticism. He's only response was " why didn't you let us know?" I explained that i wasn't coming from a place of malice but simply stating points of improvement. I also told him that we did let the waitress know about some of the issues, but she never cared. No apology was given.
