ROC Original Trash Plate

We were served Mac salad that had gone bad for our ROC Original Trash Plate. Great service and great karaoke through.

Brand new bar and grill in Plano. We visited a day after Christmas to specifically have drinks. The atmosphere is bright and this is more of a 'grill" than a bar where you can't really hang out and party the whole night. Menu seems solid and definitely would like to comeback to try some of the items that caught our attention. Service was really friendly at the bar. We can't wait to come back to try their Friday prime rib special.

Checked out Big Mike's and had a great experience overall. The service was excellent with super friendly staff, and our whole family really enjoyed the smash burgers. The ROC Original Trash Plate was a standout and made for an awesome hangover meal. The atmosphere was just okay, but considering it's a brand new spot, it has a lot of potential and is definitely worth checking out.

Checked out Big Mike's Bar Saturday night instead of any of the regular places, so glad we did. Super friendly staff and the owners are so nice and fun to talk to. The hot wings reminded us of a place from college and the double smash was on point. Headed back for either brunch or music bingo night. Go Bills!!

What a treat Update. We went for dinner and had the Prime Rib. It was the best we have ever had at a fraction of the cost of a high end restaurant.

New place near my s we are excited to write about. Jennie and Big Mike are great hosts and the live music and food were awesome! Jordan our server was friendly and very helpful. Burger we had was a Big Mike and was cooked how we wanted, hot, and tasty. We had a big table with friends to watch the live live music - Mark and The Machine - who were great - and it seemed like everybody had a good time. See y'all soon and thanks again to Jennie for stopping by and making sure everything was ok!

My friend recommended this on his list of Irish Pubs around here, so I decided to give it a try. For a strip mall Irish Pub, it does take you into another world. Cool entrance that opens up to a horseshoe bar with tons of tables and booths. It was Trivia night, so they only had the Stanley Cup playoff on one TV. Sat down at the bar and ordered my Guinness and reviewed the menu. There were a couple of selections I was interested in (always gravitate to Bangers n' Mash), but went with the fish & chips with French Onion soup. Get these together, because the fish is delicious in the beef broth of the French Onion! It was good, though fish could've used a little more batter with the thick walleye filets. I loved it all and enjoyed the conversation with the bartender with the I Love Indie Horror hat. Some good ones out there that aren't being made like they use to!!

My husband and I have been going here for years. Went this afternoon for a quick bite and learned…read morethat several of the longtime staff have left. That was a major disappointment. After we paid our bill with a credit card, I noticed that we were charged a 3% credit card fee. That was a first, and likely began in April since our last visit was on 3/24/26 and no credit card fee was assessed. Nowhere on the menu was it mentioned there would be a credit card fee, nor was it articulated by a bartender. That sort of fee makes me wonder what's going on in this establishment. Not sure we'll be back.

Warm wood tones, beautiful lighting, and that perfect upscale-yet-cozy feel make the whole place feel special. The location is ideal too -- easy to get to and surrounded by that lively Shops at Legacy energy without any of the chaos. But the food? Next level. The elk tacos were straight-up fantastic -- perfectly seasoned, tender elk, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of heat. I could have eaten a second order without hesitation. Then came the chicken fried steak, and it did not disappoint. Crispy, golden crust, juicy and flavorful meat, and that classic creamy gravy that tastes like it was made with love. Every bite was pure comfort food elevated. Everything about the experience felt thoughtful and elevated, yet still warm and welcoming. If you're in Plano and want a restaurant that nails both the food and the atmosphere, Haywire is it. I'm already planning my next visit. Hands-down 10/10. Go now -- you'll thank me later!

It's got that Texas feel to it, but cleaned up a bit. Comfortable, but still a little polished. The food was really solid across the board. You know how brunch can sometimes just be... fine? This wasn't that. Everything tasted like someone actually cared about it. Good seasoning, cooked right, and just enough creativity without overdoing it. It still felt like brunch, just done properly. Drinks were great too. Not over-the-top, just well-made and easy to enjoy. Definitely the kind of place where one turns into two without much convincing. Service was smooth--friendly, attentive, but relaxed. Nobody hovering, nobody rushing you out. Just a good flow to the whole meal. We ended up sitting there longer than we planned, just hanging out and enjoying it, which probably says the most. If you're in Frisco and want a brunch spot that actually feels worth going to, Haywire's a safe bet.
