    Corned Beef Hash and pancakes
    Leslie R.

I was visiting from California and was recommended this restaurant, and I must say, if I am ever in the DFW area again, I would definitely have to stop by again. The corned beef hash was really good. But the pancakes?! Those were soo good. Service was quick and our server was friendly

Finally got to try this spot out and had a great experience. Upon arrival the spot was busy but the staff were very welcoming and nice. We had to wait 5-10 minutes for a table for a Saturday which is quick to me. Once seated we ordered a chicken carnitas skillet and hash stack. The skillet was perfectly seasoned and had great flavors. It also came with a stack of 2 pancakes which were phenomenal. They were large and tasted amazing! The hash stack was heavier for a meal but also seasoned nicely and tasted great! We also ordered a French combo which was perfectly done and not super sweet! The ambiance of the restaurant was busy for a Saturday but also seemed like food was coming out quickly and people were finishing their meals and able to make space for new customers quickly. Overall the service was great and quick, the food was perfect and I would come back again!

Can't wait to try this new location! We are regulars at the Hydeout Cafe in McKinney. My go-to there for Sunday brunch, the "Very Berry French Toast" it is delicious! We love the owner and all the staff and I guarantee this new place will be fabulous, too!

pleasant solo date here. service is really quick and friendly. location is kind of small with ample seating and has a very cozy feel to it! really clean which is always something I note. the prices here are absolutely great, I know everything is expensive right now so I don't understand businesses having to up their prices but I got a skillet w pancakes and a mimosa for under $25!the portions are great. I took my pancake and probably more than half of my skillet with me for later. my only dislike was mg espresso martini, it tasted a bit watery and so I sent it back for the mango mimosa, win! will definitely return here to try more things!

The service was top. I loved the design of the restaurant and clean restrooms. I ordered one of the bowls with vegetables and it was delicious. I finished my whole bowl. Meal came with pancakes which were also great.

country omelette, golden hashbrowns, sourdough toast

Bliss Brunch House doors were wide open, with most placed still closed due to snow-- Ordered the country omelette and it was excellent--perfectly cooked, came with golden hashbrowns, toast-- hit the spot. Service was excellent too-: friendly, fast, and genuinely happy. Everything about this place delivered. Five stars. They earned it.

    Huevos Rancheros! Delicious!

The staff is friendly and the food is excellent. Coffee is top notch! I will definitely come back to try the chilaquiles!!

Best quality food, lovely atmosphere, great service, great owners, family run. This is our go to. We don't go anywhere else for breakfast and we're pretty picky eaters. You could call us breakfast snobs. Highly recommend.

Cocktail menu, Truckers skillet with scrambled eggs, & split biscuit
    Toi T.

The food was good. The pancakes are slightly sweet and served with maple syrup. The biscuit was average. I enjoyed the Truckers skillet. The meat is diced in small pieces, with a little cheese scattered, which was fine with me but different than I am used to. Hashbrowns were not greasy which was great. The service was ok but the food came out slooowwww. Staff seemed a little bit disorganized. It is a somewhat small place and it can be very loud. Bathrooms were nice but only one per gender so it can be a wait. Overall I would say 3.5 but I'll round up.

Priscilla was an attentive and kind server who really went above and beyond for us! As we walked up, we really liked the cute patio vibe with cute flowers and a pergola with a lot of fans, even in the scorching Texas summer. We opted to sit inside and it's a cozy setting with a nice looking bar. We came in close to opening and it wasn't too busy but it definitely picked up as we were wrapping just to show how popular this place is on a Saturday. Priscilla greeted us and walked us through the menu and we started with some great coffee. I had the breakfast pot pie and we also had the French toast and eggs benedict. Everything was pretty flavorful and the breakfast pot pie was so heartwarming and tasty. I would have preferred a little more seasoning or spices for some extra flavor, but that's my preference. My parents were pretty satisfied with their dishes. Maybe just a little more refinement to make it 5 star worthy. Overall, we were impressed with our experience and will be back again to try their dinner options that looked really good!

I ordered the turkey burger along with sweet potato fries. Unfortunately, I was brought regular fries instead, and neither the fries nor the burger really matched my personal taste preferences. That said, food is subjective, and what didn't work for me may be exactly what someone else enjoys. The service was okay overall, and one thing I did appreciate was seeing people genuinely interacting and talking with each other. In a world where everyone is often glued to their phones, it was nice to see a place that seemed to encourage conversation and connection. While my meal wasn't a favorite, I can understand why this place attracts a crowd. I'd still recommend giving it a try and deciding for yourself, especially if you're looking for a casual burger spot with a busy, social atmosphere.

I went to the bar, where I've picked up orders before, but the bartender didn't even look up or acknowledge me. I then made eye contact with someone at the register who appeared to be a manager. Before I could even say anything, he put his hands up, shook his head "no," and walked away. Eventually, another gentleman came over and asked for my name. He looked through the three tickets on the rack for quite a while, then came back and told me he didn't see my order and that the kitchen was slow. I explained that DoorDash showed the order as ready for pickup. He said he had told the GM, who also simply walked away toward the back. My order eventually came out, but by that point, the issue wasn't even the wait, it was the complete lack of acknowledgment, communication, and basic customer service. I understand that restaurants get busy and kitchens fall behind. What I don't understand is staff acting as though a customer asking about an order is an inconvenience. The overall level of apathy was honestly pretty shocking and extremely disappointing from a location I used to really enjoy.

The whole place has a laid-back, rustic feel, with whiskey barrels out front and plenty of character inside. They also have an upstairs area that can be rented for special occasions, which would be a really fun option for a private party. As the name suggests, they have an extensive whiskey list. We didn't try any whiskey this visit, but there were definitely plenty of options for whiskey lovers. The service was absolutely on point. I ordered the Sticky Chipotle Chicken with double roasted vegetables. The chicken was chopped with Monterey Jack cheese, pico, black beans and a spicy chipotle sauce. It had a really good flavor with just the right amount of spice. My fiancé ordered the Power Play with salmon, rice pilaf and vegetables--and apparently I thought it was my dinner too because I kept reaching over and eating his! The salmon was delicious and had this wonderful charbroiled flavor that made it hard to leave alone. One thing I really appreciated about the menu was the variety. There are plenty of fresh, healthier options if that's what you're looking for, but they also have the crowd-pleasing comfort foods you'd expect from a casual lakeside spot. I'm glad we finally found it because it feels like one of those easy, laid-back places you can come for dinner, sit on the patio, listen to live music and enjoy the lake without making a whole production out of the evening.
