I rarely come here but when I do, it's always busy. lol. I can't really complain cause the only time I'm here is when they offer me a 50% off promotion on my whole order. I've only had iced coffee here and usually only get their White Chocolate Macadamia. It's creamy and just enough sweetness for my liking. I'm sure people love this setup. I did not. This is an "outdoor only" coffee shop with seating under cover. It's like sitting on a patio. No power outlets. Not a place to hang out. The drive through moves fast and there is plenty of parking. But it's not the sort of coffee shop you're going to sit at with your laptop for an hour or two. On the plus side, you can bring a dog. Got the daydreamer coffee and it was the perfect pick me up. It was a sweet drink, which is right up my alley! The outside was punk grunge and I actually wanted to stay in line longer to check out all the artwork. Definitely glad I stopped by the drive through and want to visit again to try more! read more

Drive thru and outdoor seating only. Sit anywhere and they will get to you. Unique style but got what I needed on a nice breezy day to get work down outside. I got the macchiato and it was delicious with great service and speed. More for quick bites as they don't have wifi to work so I hotspot. But casual gathering it was nice and spacious. read more

I love 151 coffee. They have inside and outside, but the inside seating is just covered seating. They have plenty of coffee options and flavorings. The cups are actually worth the price here compared to some coffee shops and they are very efficient at the drive thru and will make it as painless as possible for you to get your caffeine fix. read more

I was once here when they first opened. Don't remember exactly what I ordered. Most likely a chai latte, which is my favorite first drink to try out at a coffee shop. This time I ordered at their patio, which is pretty nice! The heat was on and really working great! It would be nice to sip a hot coffee in a chilly weather outside. But in Texas It rarely gets too cold yet in December. I ordered their house coffee. It was really aromatic, toasty, and buttery. I like my coffee black. But it still tasted quite creamy without the milk. I liked it a lot. The barista that took my order was very friendly and courteous. Since I ordered a regular coffee, it came out very quickly! There are also many other caffeinated drinks and fruity refreshers on the menu. I love the coffee drinks here and the pricing is good. They have a very young, energetic and happy staff. The open air areas are nice and laidback. However, the crazy cones circling the building directing you to line up for your order is NOT intuitive and makes you feel like you have to get through the maze to get your prize. I've been driving by here on my commute for close to 2 years now and only recently stopped here because my Starbucks location is closed for renovation. God damn was I missing out. They have some awesomely unique drinks here which are uniquely awesome too. I took the good lord's name in vain on purpose because my favorite drink so far is the Irish sin. I have rotated through a few different ones now and so far this one rules the roost. I plan to sin frequently. Note please this place is drinks only. Here I go again trying another coffee spot. For some reason I had high hopes but they have let me down....not once but twice. I ordered the white chocolate macadamia latte and the snickers latte. Either of which did not taste like what they are described as. The white chocolate macadamia coffee was lacking the actual macadamia nut flavor. The snickers latte tastes like a hot chocolate. I question if I even got any coffee in it. They have an outside patio -like seating area but don't get it twisted, you can't order out there even though it looks like you can. All orders are taking via drive thru. One good thing is they do have restrooms and they are kept clean. Service was almost nonexistent...I didn't know you couldn't order in the patio area even though there was a menu and a door where the staff could come out and take my order. No one even came out to let me know orders are only taken via drive thru. Instead I had stares...eventually I got in my car and went through the drive thru and that's when the same staff who was staring at me awhile ago is walking to me with a pad to take my order and didn't mention a word about it. I'm not upset but, I think if others were to make the same innocent mistake of waiting to order via the Have patio, someone should come out and let them know. Food for thought. This is a good spot to grab a drink on the go. This summer I've ordered iced chai lattes around the city and this is top 3 without a doubt! The coffee is amazing every time, and the entire vibe is immaculate. I really enjoy their frozen coffees (the snickers one is so good!) and iced coffees. I always want to try the other drinks but I'm usually there because I need coffee to make it through the day, lol. I highly recommend hitting them up when you find one! This spot is totally geared to the drive thru crowd but I parked & went onto a large patio-like area where someone came out to greet me with an iPad. Took my order of small latte with extra shot and she brought out a few min later. Starwho? From the first time I visited 151, I knew it was my new favorite coffee shop. It's a drive-thru and walk-up only shop with no indoor seating. There are, however, some outdoor tables and chairs you can relax at. The coffee is on-point. It is much better tasting and smoother than other coffee shops. I love the horchata flavor they offer, but the cold brew is excellent as well. You might think that a drive-thru coffee shop can't have a vibe, but 151 sure does. The music is always blaring out from the kitchen area and the employees seem to love working there. The staff is always friendly in taking and delivering my order. Every time I go, I feel I have been transported to Austin - which is a feeling I love! On top of all that, they are quick. Too quick, if you ask me. I want the experience to last longer (did I actually say that?). But seriously, the speed of service is a welcome shift from a 15 minute wait for a simple latte at your local Starbucks. Highly recommend. I wish they had indoor seating and food, but perhaps that would detract from what is a really special spot in North Dallas! read more

I have been going to this location for a while now and I love it because it's good coffee but also the atmosphere. In the past they wouldn't happily offer a first responder discount and it was a happy surprise before a 12 hour shift, but now they said "it only really applies to police or EMTs, healthcare professionals don't really count". Since when does a nurse not count as a first responder. I still love the coffee but that was not the best thing to hear at 6:00 in the morning. read more
