Ordered a strawberry fields matcha latte and a La la Late. The matcha is ceremonial grade, it was nice and rich, and the strawberry added a nice smooth flavor combined. The la la late had a nice smooth coffee heavy flavor. Baristas were very nice and helpful, and the environment was great, the inside is so beautiful and clean and the mural is a nice touch!
My review is based on several visits over the past 3 years. The theme, color scheme of the interior, and offerings make this cafe a no-brainer to visit for me. My most recent visit, yesterday, involved me ordering just their coffee with cream and an almond croissant. I loved the crispy and chewy croissant, which had a light not too sweet filling. As for the coffee, it was rich and bold, just like how I love my cup of Joe. Service has consistently been solid. Parking is shared with many other shops and should be plentiful.
I lean to 3.5 stars for this one, but pushed to 4 because of the employees. As I've noted in other reviews for La La Land, they all offer the same drinks, the same display, the same food, but what's different is the vibe. The vibe for this one is BUSY! This place is ALWAYS busy. Always! So you better expect to have patience when you visit this location. A mobile order is a wise idea if you are in any sort of a hurry. If you order at the counter and choose to wait, it will be at least 15min. The employees are kind and really helpful. When I wasn't sure if I'd like matcha, one of them made me a small sample to try. I did not like and it was able to order something I would like without wasting. The parking and seating are hit or miss. Sometimes in the time it takes to wait for your drink (longer than normal) a seat will open up. My favorite thing about this location is the large table indoors. My kids and I will sometimes go early in the morning, take a game and play while I have coffee and they enjoy a pastry. I think if they opened another location close by it would greatly off-set the business of this location. In addition, the tables, floors and bathroom are usually dirty, but I genuinely think it's not because of neglect, but because they are packed from open until close and don't have employees to spare.
The Keith Lee matcha is sooooo good!! Would come back and grab that everyday if I had the means! It pairs so well with the strawberry that my hubby brings extra strawberries to eat with it haha. The other coffees and cloud foam we've had there are yummy too. The avocado toast is big, big enough for 2 people. It is a bit salty which is why I took a star off, but not bad!
I love the Addison location and wanted to La La La love this one as well. I wanted it to be my favorite, but definitely disappointed. I was really looking forward to visiting La La Land Kind Cafe in Plano, especially after watching the glowing GMA segment that morning (even though it was filmed at the Southlake location). Unfortunately, my experience at the Plano cafe didn't reflect what I saw on TV. The line was long, which is totally understandable, but not a single person at the register seemed kind. No smiles, just stressed faces. It didn't feel like the warm, welcoming vibe they promote. The cafe itself was not clean. Tables were messy and the bathroom was honestly pretty disgusting. For a place that prides itself on atmosphere and kindness, it really missed the mark. As for the food, the Nutella croissant was very dry, the avocado toast was just okay, and the fruit toast had brown bananas on it -- not fresh or appealing. La La, we can do better. I still believe in the mission, and I'll give it another shot someday, but this visit fell far short of expectations. Hoping next time it's closer to the shiny, smiley version I saw on TV.

They offer different signature drinks in matcha and coffee, signature coolers, as well as signature toast. My two go to drinks are an upside down coffee iced latte with oat milk & an Iced lavender boom match latte. This locations has limited indoor seating available with more outdoor. A private parking lot is located in front and on the side of La La however, depending on the time of your visit you have to walk. Note: Double check your order before paying to be sure it is correct before paying.
They say when you relocate you need a good routine of getting out each day, being a regular somewhere, moving your body, creating your new routine... enter La La Land, they are checking all the boxes for me as I navigate this acclimation process. I stumbled upon them a few days after moving in and they have become a staple for me. Their banana cream top matcha latte is my absolute fav! I'm low key obsessed and have gone every single day to get one, even swung by on my way to the airport Saturday morning (: I've been fortunate to have a couple of weeks to settle into my new neighborhood before starting at my new company. While my days won't look so similar to the last week or so, La La Land will definitely remain a regular. I love this spot! Service is consistently great. I walk or drive here each day. Their drinks have been the perfect little comfort treat after my morning jogs or incorporated on an afternoon walk. They've really hit the spot on these really warm days as I've begun to adjust to the climate. I never stay and hang, sitting still isn't typically my jam but they definitely draw a nice crowd of folks relaxing, studying, socializing which makes them a perfect spot to grab coffee with a friend. I'll definitely be bringing all of my out of town visitors in for a bevvie.

I thought it was just ok! I stopped by in the morning to get some work done and take a few meetings - inside can get a little loud but the outdoor seating area is pretty spacious and is shaded so its nice!! The latte i ordered was suuuper sweet - i shouldve asked for less sweet or maybe just no flavor at all but i got the vanilla latte and added cold foam so maybe the cold foam was overkill for sweetness :") but the coffee flavor itself was good. Also ordered a matcha latte - they were out of the strawberry matcha i wanted to try so i just opted for the reg matcha latte - it was kinda watery but thankfully not super sweet like their coffee. I didnt think service was as.. kind as their concept is set out to be but it was whatever since i was just there mainly to get work done. Id come back if im in the area and need a quick coffee fix but it was overall alrightttt

I thought it was just ok! I stopped by in the morning to get some work done and take a few meetings - inside can get a little loud but the outdoor seating area is pretty spacious and is shaded so its nice!! The latte i ordered was suuuper sweet - i shouldve asked for less sweet or maybe just no flavor at all but i got the vanilla latte and added cold foam so maybe the cold foam was overkill for sweetness :") but the coffee flavor itself was good. The matcha here can vary in taste depending on who prepares it, so it can be hit or miss. However, what truly stood out was the poor customer service I experienced despite being a loyal customer who has ordered through their app over 40 times. On my most recent visit, I placed an order and waited, only to eventually find out--after asking--that the kitchen had already closed but yet they said it closes at 6:30 p.m. and it was 6:10 p.m. No one informed me beforehand, and I was left waiting for an item that was never going to be fulfilled, even though I had already paid. When I approached the cashier for a refund, she took my ticket, snapped a screenshot, and told me it would be processed "when they speak to the manager," which could take 3-5 business days. If I didn't see it by then, I would need to call back. What shocked me most was when I asked what time the kitchen closed, and the response was, "We noticed not many toast left, so we left what is left for tomorrow customers." It felt as though my order wasn't considered important simply because they preferred to hold the items for future customers. For a place I've supported so frequently, this was both disappointing and frustrating. Clear communication and valuing every customer equally--especially when they've already paid--would go a long way toward improving the experience. read more

Been to this location 5 times cause it's near work and wow! It's always busy! I advise mobile ordering before picking up cause sometimes the lines are ridiculous. Even with mobile ordering before picking there may be a 20 minute wait. Drinks are delicious! Pricey but great if you love the vibe and coffee here. Most of the time I don't feel much customer service because it's just so busy. They've made my drinks wrong a few times but do correct it asap. Only complain I have is how long I always have to wait. Still, a very cute coffee chain! And I'm proud it's by a fellow SMU alum read more

First thing you may notice about lala land is that good lord is it "cute!" The decor really does the name justice. With a place like this you're expecting all sorts of oooey gooey goodness and the staff certainly stay with the theme. I got a good morning with a smile as soon as i walked in and the baristas while busy making drinks, acknowledged me waiting at the register and asked me what I wanted before ringing me up so they could get my order on the line. That right there is the 5th star my friends! I got the perfect latte on ice, despite the cold weather. It comes with "secret sauce" and I'm all for conspiracy and secrets these days. My drink tasted good. It was not more ice and less drink, and had a strong coffee note while not being too sweet. Honestly it would be even better hot than iced. It was a bit more pricey than the average latte these days. Final note, for my friends that enjoy machta, they lean into it heavily here so you may want to put this on your list if that is your thing. For everyone else, pricey-er but solid coffee and great service. read more

Such a beautiful coffee shop. Bright, aesthetically appealing, clean, great customer service but a little slow. I came for the Keith Lee matcha! I had never tried matcha before and will never purchase again, I'm simply not a matcha girl. The top layer was nice, sweet, and creamy, but the actually matcha just wasn't for me, I can see others liking. We also purchased a Chocolate Chip Cookie that was pretty good. I would go back to try a different drink. read more

Lalaland is definitely the spot if you want to flex your Tesla while sipping on an expensive banana coffee or matcha. Think SoHo NYC meets Malibu -- except you're actually in Willow Bend, the little sister of Highland Park. If you're a coffee connoisseur or a Matcha lover who doesn't mind spending beaucoup money for a fancy latte, this place is for you. They always have a long line on weekends, so be prepared to wait. My latte wasn't bad, but I have to say the outdoor seating could use some love -- those couches look pretty nasty and need a good cleaning. Would I go back? Maybe. But I will give them credit -- their bright yellow to-go cups look super nice and classy. read more

What an experience! I love the ambience and branding so let's start there. The pastries are homemade including my pop tarts that I ate so fast I forgot to take photos. The matcha was really well flavored just make sure you ask for sugar or vanilla pumps. It's definitely not cheap but the cup was too cute and well made. However, I will pay for a vibe, depending on how I feel. Lol I plan to go back several times and take others. read more

Didn't stop in for long, just long enough to pick my order to go. Ordered the La La Land iced latte. The latte was incredible! Extremely delicious and decadent at the same time. I'm so glad North Dallas has a la la land! I came in and got an expresso coconut milk and cloud latte and felt right at home. I have 2 locations back in Cali that I frequent so I was pleasantly surprised that there was a location near me out of state. What a picker upper and a caffeine/sugar rush I needed to jump start the afternoon. read more

A chic cafe with a stylish ambiance, but the coffee itself is pretty standard compared to other spots. What sets them apart is their wider variety of matcha drinks and the option to add CBD for an extra $2.50. Worth a visit if you're into matcha or CBD-infused drinks, but otherwise, nothing too special. read more

So happy to see there is a La La Land in plano! This is one of my FAVORITE coffee shops. Get the La La Latte and thank me later! The cold foam is amazing and the iced latte tastes like a treat on a summer day. Dont skip their toasts! The queen bee is my favorite avocado toast with cream cheese. It's pretty massive and I always share with a friend. Ambiance is bright, airy, and GOOD VIBES. La la land promotes kindness with every cup. It's the perfect spot for my coffee run or to catchup with friends! And, I don't even live in Dallas. I literally just stop here EVERY SINGLE TIME. read more

Obsessed with this place! On a week long business trip, we visited this cafe (this location and 1 other) 4 times. The avocado toast is so flavorful with the right amount of spice. I also ordered the lavender drink which was delicious. The customer service was great and the aesthetics of the cafe was clean cut!
