It has been years since I've been to Mudleaf so when I found myself in the area wanting coffee I was delighted to drop in. The staff was really kind and helped me navigate a few syrup options since I am dairy free. I finally settled on a large almond milk late with two sugar in the raw. I quickly realized this is not an overly digitized coffee experience, which I like, but it did mean it took a lot longer to make my drink than I anticipated. The kind barista finally gave me my drink and we had to jet out to make football practice. The ambiance was chill. Almost every seat in the place was taken by someone with a laptop so I'm not sure I would come back here with the intent to find a seat. The latte was okay. The espresso tasted a little burnt and was actually quite weak - I wish I had gotten an extra shot. I'm glad I made it back to try Mudleaf, but I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to try it again. read more

Visited this place with a friend of mine. This is a cute and cozy coffee shop, which is beautifully designed for Christmas. What is cool about this coffee shop is that they have entertainment available as well as wide variety of coffee, tea, and pastries. My friend and I got the oolong tea and sat by the fireplace enjoying the Christmas songs sang by the students of a singing class. The staff also seemed friendly and helped us choose a tea of our choice. They also have a cute little store in the back of the coffee shop as well with items for sale. read more

Mudleaf lovers rise up! I highly recommend stopping by for any of your cafe needs - for delicious coffees, pastries, to study, meet up with friends, or anything else. The space is awesome - very spacious with a variety of seating options depending on customer needs. There is also a super cute shop with unique items and local artwork. The baristas are always friendly, warm, and helpful. I much prefer their hot coffees over the iced ones, and the seasonal drink menu is a huge hit for me. Place has such a cool vibe with swinging chairs, lots of nature inspired decor and board games. Lots of unique drink options too. Unfortunately both drinks we got weren't our fave. The summer dry was way too sour and tangy with an acidic aftertaste- the peach flavor barely came through. As for the berry matcha latte, I expected more. While the matcha was whisked well, I barely tasted any kind of berry flavor in the drink. Maybe a puree of some kind would benefit the drink. DRINK Honey Lavender Latte - close the lavender and the honey flavor are noticeable and delicious. The temperature of the coffee is perfect. Also not too sweet which is what I personally like better. VIBES - I went at around 10:00 AM on a Monday and it's pretty crowded with people studying talking and catching up. There's plenty of seating from high chair seating to swing seating to just regular tables and chairs. There is also a quiet area of seating that is divided by a sliding door. The lighting is a bit on a dimmer side, but gives a nice vibe with all the fall decorations. SERVICE - Service is great! They're quick to get the order and also to serve the coffee. Stopped in to try a new coffee shop this morning to get the week started. It's a cute little space that's unique and eclectic. Walking in it gives complete Boho vibes not coffee shop vibes at all. They have a large space but not as many tables for working as you'd think. So I'd suggest getting here a bit earlier in the day. I chose to get a lavender honey latte, which was delicious. Could taste the lavender but it wasn't overpowering. Friendly staff, and I think it's cool they support local artists, they have a small little shop in the back with artwork, and other little knickknacks. Definitely keeping them in the coffee shop rotation. Great spot to meet friends, work, study or even come for a coffee date. read more

I was really excited to try Mudleaf. You could tell by the parking lot that the place was popping with business. When you walk in, it's like entering a modern jungle. Beautiful decor, a matte-black painted fireplace, jungle vines, and hanging chairs add to the calming cafe feel. There's a counter where they make your coffee, and a small shopping section with candles, shirts, decor and other local goods. The staff were super friendly at the counter, but very slow. I ordered an Autumn themed Iced Coffee with Maple. I thought it was just okay. Very watered down and too bitter. My overall experience was that the aesthetics overpower the coffee, and if this place wasn't as cute as it is, it would be out of business sooner than later. read more

Cute, large area to study, but their coffee is mediocre and lowkey expensive. I got an iced white mocha from their seasonal menu and it was lowkey unflavorful and a little salty? We had a group of 4 and the table we had was a bit.. odd. Like a bite was taken out of it lol so there wasn't a lot of space for our stuff for 4. I think there's other places for coffee for sure but if you need to study it's not bad. read more

Very calming space to study and relax. It's always quiet when I go in there. Service is always on point and my coffee is always great.

There's a big ol' fireplace inside! What a vibe! Lots of SPACE and lots of SEATING, including two hanging rattan chairs! The cold brew was a little more on the acidic side. And the baristas seemed to be very annoyed working there, which was a little disheartening. But there was a small shopping area inside, which is fun while you wait for your drink. I got the americano and chocolate chip cookie. The americano wasn't to my taste bc I prefer less acidic coffees but the caffeine hits you pretty good. The cookie was also huge and tasty. The cafe itself was very cute inside and has a little area selling local foods. The free drink board concept was also a wonderful idea. There's plenty of seating for studying and there are charging outlets on some of the tables. However the drink is just okay. I got a blueberry latte and the coffee was a little watered down. Mudleaf is really nice and clean inside, and I immediately felt welcomed when I walked in. We ordered the blueberry latte, wedding latte, and avocado toast. The blueberry latte tasted exactly as imagined, with the sort-of artificial blueberry flavor but not overpowering. I liked the wedding latte more. As for the avocado toast, I was a bit disappointed by the portion size given its price. Would probably not get the toast again (just make it at home yourself for much cheaper!!) but overall not a bad experience. I met with a client today in the shopping center of Mudleaf, we will be doing a renovation to a commercial space in the next few months, It is going to be a meditation, yoga, massage therapy school, She suggested I stop by and check out the decor and get some thing to drink. So glad I did! This is certainly not like any other coffee shop that I have been to. The decor is very well thought out and incredibly stylish. I love how each place has a moment of visual interest, as well as different zones. At the front of the entrance there are hanging chairs with a fun star constellation, Live edge tables and a geometric wall divider. Directly to the right is a space that has a sliding barn door that can be reserved. A quick peek in there shows a spacious table as well as fun artwork. The Conference room can be reserved by the hour. The bar is towards the back of the space and has a reclaimed lumber front, with bar top seating. In the back left is a retail space with all kinds of cute little tchotchkes. There is long tables for working and small top tables as well. There is a faux fireplace and large roomy leather chairs centering the space. The walls are bright white and thoughtful moments of decor throughout. I'm not a coffee fan but I did order a peach tea, had a great flavor and very refreshing. I liked the menu offerings, the cooler next to the register had bento boxes for those who want a quick bite as well. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and served me very quickly. The restroom was nice, I liked the wood countertop and vessel sink coupled with the clean linear tiles. The service was not super friendly, as I noticed another reviewer Ros H mentioned. The counter staff was a bit snappy, and quick to point out that it wasn't 18 oz, but 16 oz is their largest size. Her coworker jumped in to say "many customers think it says 18 oz, too" on their board. (They should probably update their coffee menu board in a different font or style, if a lot of people that come in are unable to read it clearly...) I've been to many coffee places in the DFW area, and in comparison, this place was large inside, but still crowded. A lot of young people chatting, or on laptops. I initially came because it looked cute inside, but it was way too noisy and packed to want to stay; seating was limited even on a weekday. The coffee was pricier than average. I got a 16oz iced Latte for about $8 rounded up. The drink tasted OK. Overall Mudleaf Coffee fell flat for the 1) unfriendly service, and 2) quality for the price. read more

Love this place! Decided to use this as a mutual meeting coffee spot for a business meeting. At first when I walked in it was very packed and a little overwhelming.
