Many people hanging out on the couches and chairs engaged in conversation with friends. There was even a group of people seated at a table with some sort of game spread out. From the outside this looked like a boring strip center with yet another coffee place, but the inside was bustling with activity. They have a side room that is long and narrow. There is a conference table with chairs around it. Off to the side is a conversation nook with couches and chairs around a large tree stump that serves as a coffee table. Although the room is walled off from the rest of the cafe, it has a thin double glass door that doesn't keep the sound contained and doesn't provide privacy. The floor was concrete and bare and the high walls allowed noise to ricochet making it very difficult to hear anyone speaking. It was free to meet here, so we made due. I'm intrigued enough that I hope to return and try out their menu in the future.

The egg salad had some sugar and condensed milk added to the filling. This made it taste great. The service was excellent. We had our sandwiches in a few minutes. The decor is so bright and colorful. Japanese characters adorn the walls and windows. We had fun playing the claw machine. A great place to eat and enjoy the scenery.

Glad to find out that that they didn't add any sugar to their tea. Instead they have sugar at each table. In some places they put in just too much sugar - much more than I like. The tea was smooth and creamy with a nice earthy flavor. I also had a small piece of baklava. It was moist, chewy with a nutty flavor of pistachios. It was not overly sweet or syrupy like some you get from other places. The gentleman at the counter who took my order was super friendly and liked my choice of karak tea as a first time visitor. The inside looks very clean and comfy with all the padded chairs and a couple of long couches against the wall and piano music playing in the background. It's definitely a delightful place to unwind and relax any time or at the end of a hectic day.

The staff was courteous, fast, and came unprompted and cleared our table when we finished any food item, which is not often the case in my experience. On a Monday between 9:30a & 10a they were busy, but they were very well-staffed and moved fast without rushing anyone, and the line wasn't out the door. There's also a free covered garage right around the corner behind the location, so parking within a block or so of walking distance isn't a problem.
