He was phenomenal! He had the perfect sense of humor, was witty and quick with a joke, and knew exactly how to keep the conversation going. He was also incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing. His personality and service made the entire experience even more enjoyable. I started with the fried green tomatoes, which were delicious. For my main course, I ordered the steak and eggs from the brunch menu, and everything was cooked perfectly. The steak was exactly how I ordered it, and the eggs were great. we went upstairs to the third-floor rooftop to drink our dessert! I had the espresso martini, and it was fantastic. The rooftop has great views and is such a fun way to end the meal. Overall, Haywire exceeded expectations. Great food, great atmosphere, an awesome rooftop, and phenomenal service. Marcus deserves a special shoutout because he absolutely made our visit memorable. We will definitely be back!

Wanted a nice evening with our son, but we couldn't even hear each other speak due to the cover band playing LOUD. Not the experience we paid for.

The biscuits are soft and buttery, the ingredients are cohesive, and the execution of everything was 10/10. I tried the hot honey biscuit, the sausage egg and cheese biscuit, and the fully loaded style tots. The sausage egg and cheese biscuit really stood out to me, it's a perfect breakfast biscuit. They had a bunch of different 'styled' tater tots and they were really good. The restaurant wasn't very well cleaned after the brunch rush, but someone came over pretty quickly to clean a table for us after walking to a few different spots and not finding something clean enough to want to sit down. Overall, I highly recommend giving this spot a try!

Shown in the picture is the fully loaded style tots. The amount of bacon, cheese sauce, green onions, and sour cream made every bite incredibly filling and delicious! I think the staff went the extra mile for me here haha I've ordered their sweet tater style tots (not shown) several times - the texture of pecan, creamy marshmallow and tots are a slam dunk. I've had a lot of their biscuits before but the steak egg biscuit is my favorite, hands down.

I have been a fan of True Food for a LONG time, but this most recent visit left me disappointed. The menu still offers many "healthy" options, but while the princes have gone up (to their credit everyone is raising prices) what really gets me is the portions have become so much smaller. My $25 Tuna Poke bowl was delicious, but was the size of an appetizer. I was still so hungry when I was done. I would have ordered a side or additional appetizer to fill me up but between my bowl and $15 margarita I was already looking at a bill close to $50! At the end of the day I give them 3.5 stars because the food is good, the food is fresh and they offer good gluten free | vegan | dairy free options. However, the drinks are weak and are mostly ice, the cost for the portions is so high and you'll likely leave hungry but spent over $50/person after all is said and done. I would eat at True Food again, but I probably wouldn't choose it as my first option.

I came here during December and tried their festive lunch menu. We ordered the Bruschetta Duo and…read morethe Spicy Rigatoni Vodka, and both were really delicious and tasted fresh. I particularly liked the bruschetta because it was quite different from a traditional bruschetta. It came with roasted cherry tomato and house-made ricotta on one, and roasted butternut squash, Brussels sprout leaves and crushed hazelnut on the other. I really enjoyed trying something a little different! The Spicy Rigatoni Vodka was also really good, with Italian sausage, crispy pancetta, shaved garlic, basil and Grana Padano. Service overall was great. Our waitress was super friendly and checked on us throughout the meal to make sure we were happy with everything. The restaurant was buzzing when we visited for lunch on a Saturday, but there was still plenty of seating. It's nice and bright inside and located in a great area with plenty of parking. I'd definitely come back!

Not sure if this is just this location or nationwide. The food was not very flavorful. We ordered the arancini for appetizers, the pomodoro agnolotti, chicken parm and kids pasta with red sauce. The arancini was tasty and best item out of our orders, green sauce was fabulous for dipping. Both tomato sauces tasted store bought, pastas were undercooked more than al dente and chicken parm was over salted. The texture of the agnolotti was thick and chewy and not at all delicate and tender as it's intended to be; would not recommend ordering. Service was terrible. Waiter was rude and inattentive. The ambiance is nice to sit outside by the fountains on a nice day but otherwise not worth the visit, especially for the prices they are charging. Other things to note- happy hour has a good selection but is only available at the bar. Their prix fixed menu deals like the $40 3 course dinners do have smaller portion sizes for all the courses; this is not clearly specified on the specials they advertise. Vegetarian options available but limited.

This was supposed to be a special milestone for him, but your staff completely ruined an important part of the celebration. Without asking anyone at our table, they cut his birthday cake before bringing it out. My dad never got to see his own birthday cake intact, make the first cut, or enjoy that special birthday moment with our family. That memory can never be replaced, and there was absolutely no reason for your staff to make that decision without asking us first. To make matters worse, my dad ordered fish that had to be boned out before it was served. By the time it was brought back to him, it was cold. No one expects to pay for a nice birthday dinner only to receive cold food because of how it was prepared. We chose your restaurant because we expected quality service for such an important occasion. Instead, we left frustrated and extremely disappointed. A 65th birthday is a once-in-a-lifetime milestone, and the lack of communication and attention to detail from your staff took away from what should have been a memorable celebration. I hope you take this complaint seriously and address these issues with your staff so another family doesn't have to experience the same disappointment. I would also appreciate hearing how you plan to make this right. We brought our own cake and it was good, as seen in photo

It was actually…read morerecommended to us by a waitress at a local restaurant that was already closing and she recommended their evening happy hour. When we checked their reviews online, it didn't look too promising, but the menu sounded amazing so we decided to come back the next day and try the food. I am so glad that we did! Every single thing we ordered was absolutely amazing. We were able to order the bucket of fried chicken for $20 off of the happy hour menu which was four boneless, skinless breaded fried chicken thighs and they came out hot and perfect! They were so good. We also ordered one Baja fish taco and we regretted not ordering more because they were really good. We also ordered the lobster Bucatini, which was an amazing flavor, but honestly a bit disappointing on the portion size, it could have come with a bit more pasta and sauce, and a piece of bread would've been nice for the sauce. We ended our meal with the crème brûlée cheesecake which I was kind of scared to order because I really love crème brûlée but I'm not a super fan of cheesecake but Earl's did it 10 out of 10 perfect! Hands-down, one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. For the drinks, I ordered an old-fashioned and my husband ordered a Moscow mule. Both of our drinks were great, we were very impressed and will definitely be back next time. We are in Plano. Dining tip: in order to take advantage of the happy hour, whether it be for lunch or dinner, you do have to sit in the bar, lounge, and I believe the outdoor patio counts as well. Your basic dining area does not give you access to the happy hour pricing.

Getting a table for four on the patio was super easy, which was a huge plus because the weather was absolutely perfect. Parking was also a breeze with plenty of garage parking and a free valet nearby. Unfortunately, that is where the positives mostly ended. The service was really slow. I walked through the restaurant on my way to the restroom and it really did not seem busy enough to justify the wait times we experienced. Drinks took forever, food took forever, and communication was lacking throughout the meal. My friend wanted to try their new guacamole. Apparently it used to come with corn, but now it comes with some kind of salsa. Flavor-wise, it was actually really good. The problem? We got about ten chips. Not exaggerating. We asked for more and our server initially said no, then said he would ask the manager. We never heard another word about it. At one point, my friend spotted someone she thought was the manager walking around with chips, but he looked completely lost and we never ended up getting anything. Maybe those were our chips. I guess we will never know. As for the food, it was mostly underwhelming. The burger was okay. We upgraded to truffle fries and honestly could not taste any truffle at all. One of my us ordered the avocado toast and felt it desperately needed seasoning. I had the chorizo chilaquiles. The menu mentioned potatoes, which caught my attention because I thought it would be an interesting twist. What arrived was potatoes and chips together. I know chilaquiles are traditionally made with chips, but for me the combination just did not work. Ironically, the potatoes were probably the best part of the dish. The whole thing needed seasoning. What I found funny was how stingy they seemed to be with the chips for the guacamole, but then my entrée came loaded with far more chips than I needed. The standout dish was the almond pancakes with berries. Those were genuinely delicious and the only item at the table that I would definitely order again. I guess in every bad thing is a good thing, since things were slow we ended up hitting 3 PM (start of HH) We were ready to order drinks. We timed them too. It took about 20 minutes. Twenty minutes for happy hour drinks... no comment. Honestly, this is becoming a recurring theme at restaurants. Mediocre food, slow service, and no sense of urgency. The patio atmosphere is definitely the biggest draw here, and I can see why people like it. But there are plenty of places around Legacy West with nice outdoor seating. Thanks, Earl's, but this will be a one-and-done visit for us. 2 stars. The patio was great, the pancakes were excellent, and everything else ranged from forgettable to frustrating.
