Had a good breakfast here. I had the corn beef with a side of pancake and hashbrowns. My eggs are over easy and cooked very well. The hashbrowns had good flavor. My server was Andrea, and she was fantastic. Very pleasant. Being a Monday morning it was not overly crowded, I was one of maybe five people here, so Service was quick. Not impressed, waitress got my order wrong, ordered omelet and got scrambled, no hashbrowns because she rang the traditional and not the bigger meal like I asked. She said sorry at least but nothing to make it right. My eggs were unseasoned, pricey at $16 for just a couple eggs, sausage, a single slice of French toast and some fruit. A couple of my coworkers and I were in the area and decided to try this restaurant. We were seated as soon as we entered and the staff was very nice and friendly. I ordered the turkey wrap with fries. It was really good and I would definitely order that again. The fries had a nice seasoning on them. Located kinda close to the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano, Texas, this restaurant with a very plain name and large menu, served up breakfast classics. I thought the pricing was high for the portions served, but it was tasty. The cafeteria at the hospital is closed on the weekends, so my brother and nephew had found this restaurant the previous morning. I wanted to buy my nephew breakfast since I hadn't seen him for a while, so the two of us came back here the morning after I flew into Dallas. He had just discovered skillets (dish with hash brown as a base, and all kinds of breakfast foods on top), and he wanted to try it again. It wasn't very busy inside, even though it was a Sunday morning. We were seated right away, and our waiter started and continued to be attentive. We both got the same thing: Mexican Skillet (14.99) consisting of chorizo, vegetables, cheese and choice of eggs (mine being over easy). It came soon after, and was served on a typical stone dish (not a skillet). The portions were small, and was light on the chorizo (but had plenty of jalapenos), but the hash browns were very crispy and delicious (the eggs were ordinary). I ordered some salsa with it (which they did not charge me), but didn't need it. The skillet comes with choice of bread, so got english muffin. There was jam packets available at each table, and unfortunately it tasted old. The english muffin had been grilled with butter on the flat-top, a good idea if done right, but it had been squished on it, getting rid of all the nooks and crannies. Not sure why they didn't just put it in a toaster. Paid for the meal tableside, once I got our waiters attention. We had ordered a couple of breakfast bagel sandwiches to go (one sausage and one with canadian bacon) for $7.99 each and it used fresh eggs. They did a nice job of wrapping it, and it was a nice breakfast for the folks who stayed behind. read more

We decided to try different breakfast place this morning. I asked Yelp and this establishment caught our attention. It says it's under new management at the front of the place. It's located next to the Kwik Lube. We were seated right away and it's very spacious and busy with customers. They have a quite extensive menu front and back. I decided on Migas with corn tortillas (My favorite bf)and PB decided on double cheeseburger with fries. My food was really good and PB's double cheeseburger was ginormous and he said it was really good. Our server was friendly and attentive. It's definitely a keeper. We will definitely return to try more stuff on the menu. read more

We went for breakfast here. Very busy on weekends. We ordered Bacado Omelette and Lox with tomatoes and onions on wheat toast. Both were freshly made and delicious. Our server is "The Young Turk". He knows what I mean He's friendly and helpful. This restaurant is owned and managed by Albanian Family, a Mom and Pop's business. I noticed the framed painting on the wall of my favorite Saint, Mother Teresa. She's born in Albania. The place is very clean, well lighted and nicely decorated. Nice fast friendly service, quick refills etc. The setup is a bit weird though. They have panels up to block the view of the kitchen, which means that when the employees go back there it's like an empty dining room with no workers. Personally I think people like to see an open kitchen especially if you think about breakfast diners where you can see the cooks working. Very strange aesthetic. read more

We ordered 4 breakfast meals, all were served at different times. The restaurant was not busy, it is hard to understand why 4 breakfast meals could not be served together. This is my first visit and we were seated right away. The service was outstanding with the right amount of check backs. The menu had so much variety that it was hard to choose. Great breakfast. I picked the French Benedict. Ham, croissant and hollandaise. I asked for extra sauce, because I just love hollandaise when done right. This was, indeed, done right. The ham and croissant (as opposed to Canadian bacon and English muffin) was an exceptional combination and a slightly different take on the traditional Benedict. The eggs were perfect. I called around 8:30 am for reservations at 11:30 and was told I wouldn't need them. We still had to wait about 15 minutes but no big deal and it was mostly worth the wait. After being seated it took quite a while for our waitress to appear (5+ minutes) but she was slammed and so lovely. I ordered the biscuits and gray with sunny side up eggs and my friend ordered the chicken panini. My eggs were ok but the whites and edges were crispy. The hash browns were just meh. Biscuits and gravy were good. The chicken panini was very dry. My friend asked the food runner for extra pesto mayo and the girl said sure but 20 minutes later no Mayo and the server hasn't once stopped by to ask how things were. When she finally and my friend asked for more Mayo again it was obvious why my friend didn't get the Mayo she asked for - it had to go through the POS (point of sale) so she would be charged for the extra Mayo for her dry sandwich. My friend also asked if the onions on her panini could be grilled. The response from the waitress (NOT her fault, I'm sure this directive came from the manager) was "maybe sometimes but the kitchen was too busy with 18 tickets stacked up". I do want to point out that when we saw our waitress she was great but she was either oversat by the hostess or they were understaffed. Not her fault and she was great, management just didn't set her up to succeed, IMO read more

First time eating here and I thought the food was decent so I'm going to give it 2 stars. This place is apparently under new management but I don't see it doing well for this reason: We ordered a chicken fried steak meal and side of biscuits and gravy for breakfast. Subbed the hash for mashed potatoes but the mashed potatoes did not have any gravy. I called The waitress over and asked for gravy for the mashed potatoes. She brought the gravy and didn't mention it was extra but when the check came out they charged for the gravy. I asked why we were charged and she said that's what management does here. I was a little confused bc WHO TF charges for gravy with mashed potatoes and chicken fried steak! Not only that, I ordered biscuits and gravy and was already charged for that, which is fine! I was dumbfounded since I grew up in the customer service industry and worked in a restaurant for my whole young adult life. Anyway, I won't be back since they are charging every little thing and not worried about customer satisfaction. This is sad because like I said, the food was decent and they made my daughter a Mickey mouse pancake. The waitress was nice and great when she took the order but wasn't super attentive to checking in on us and it wasn't very busy. I hate to write a bad review but I did address them first. read more

Obviously made in house, from pounded steak to gravy. Pancakes with it were fluffy and delicious. Grits were good (could use some salt in the water). Also had Denver omelette with hash browns and a biscuit. Yum. Biscuits and (sausage) gravy. Great! Italian-roasted coffee. Good. Want to return to try some of the other dishes, especially the egg benes. Hollandaise sauce is made from scratch in house. A bright, open, welcoming space that's not overly loud. Can hold a conversation in a normal speaking voice at the table, even when the place is packed (which it was by the time we left on a Saturday morning). The Mexican skillet was pretty good, the eggs are okay maybe a little too runny, and the French toast was okay. I ordered the cinnamon toast plate and the waitress got my order wrong and tried to gaslight me into thinking I ordered something else, as if I didn't know what I ordered. Then she charged me for the plate of meat (I don't eat meat), and the hashbrowns that were originally supposed to be on my plate. I felt bad and know they are understaffed, but at least listen to what I'm asking. Then at the end she didn't give us a receipt and upcharged us $56 for the cinnamon toast plate ($14.49) the Mexican skillet ($13.99) and an orange juice (5.49) + tip. I would've left at least a 4 star review the last time we came here, but it seems they changed their portion sizes/quality of food since they went under new management. The last time I came here I ordered the same dish, the chicken fried steak meal. It was huge and delicious! The batter was airy and crispy and very well seasoned. This time the steak was very small and the steak batter was soft and seasoning was very bland. Same high prices, which I was okay with when the food and portion sizes were so good.
