Walked in, seated by hostess and she got us coffee and water. Asked if we wanted creamer and we responded yes. Unfortunately she never returned, she got deterred I guess with a phone order and also forgot to let wait staff know we were there. So we waited and waited. Watching this all transpire. Finally one of the waitresses realized no one had been assigned our table. We order...my partner got the avocado toast, big hair on the plate. We returned it and my partner proceeds to watch the cook moved the contents of the plate on to a new one. NOPE! That's not how you do it, trash the food and start over. New toast, new mashed avocados and poached eggs. Especially when you have an open kitchen. Seriously. When he declined the re-served meal and what we had observed. Of course by then he doesn't want anything made in the kitchen. My waffle and ham was good. Coffee was great but never offered refills even after the hair fiasco. Don't get me wrong, things happen, hairs do fall into food. But just do the right thing...trash the food and remake it. read more

Straight to business, the banana foster was a 10/10. It was perfect and i hate wet bread ! Fluffy, chewy, moist, i didn't even need the syrup but i definitely tried it with the toast. The syrup was unique and delicious ! I wish i could've taken it home but i ate everything up and had no leftovers ‍. I order my eggs soft scrambled and they did not disappoint. 10/10. Fluffy and delicious, it holds shape really well and with some salt and pepper it's a banger ! I'm sure it tastes even better with cheese because my lactose intolerance man scarfed his down before i could get a bite ! We also ordered mimosas and they were PERFECT but be careful ! More than two will probably knock you flat. The bacon was thick and smoky without being oily and the hashbrowns tasted great even without ketchup. Whole meal was a 10/10 ! The music and ambience was great and relaxing and our server, Thomas, was attentive, funny and made the meal even better with his helpful tips and jokes. I went here for "brunch" on a Sunday and it was great. There were no wait times, they have all day breakfast and brunch which was great because we got there at about 2pm. It's very airy and they can easily accommodate not small and large parties. I moved to Richardson and this place was first on my list to try. It was pretty good. I wish they had more coffee options. The pancakes are LEGIT. I appreciate that you can basically add brisket to anything. Since settling in we have ordered the pancakes a couple times on lazy days. The lunch menu is also great. The burgers are really good. Pretty simple, overly loud, a few pictures thrown on the wall as more obligatory than much thought. Just basic. Our service was just ok. There were awkwardly long times in between our server's visits. He did not seem overly busy, but he did seem preoccupied in conversations with some of the other servers. The food was just ok too. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken. Not bad by any means but not great. The toast it was served with tasted like an afterthought. I think they could surely do a lot better. read more

Amazing find that I had overlooked because it seemed so small from the outside. Upon entering, I can see how ambitious Bruncheon is with the vast amount of seating. Online, I had been looking at Salmon Crepes plate offered at Las Colinas location for Bruncheon. It was not on Renner Road location menu, but the manager decided to honor my request anyways. I have a lot of respect for leaders that lead from the front, an example for their staff! The chef did a great job on such short notice... the Nova Lox Crepes were cooked just right, and delicious! Waitstaff carefully attend their parties with attention to details. As I was devouring my salmon crepes, a rush of new diners arrived, proving that locals appreciate not having to drive far for a nice Brunch! Help Bruncheon survive 2025! read more

I visited Bruncheon on a Saturday morning around 10am. The small space was not overly crowded, but there was a very good, relaxing vibe as I entered. I was greeted cheerfully and advised to sit anywhere. When my waiter arrived, I expressed that this was my first visit. He graciously pointed out a few of the features and that a plate advertised as only available M-F could be offered on the weekend as well. I ordered the Traditional Benedict with breakfast potatoes. The muffin was beautifully toasted and the sauce was silky smooth. Lovely! The medium poached eggs were a bit too soft for my liking, but they were very tasty. (The waiter confirmed that I would like medium....so I take the responsibility for that one!) My only complaint would be in the potatoes. What arrived had A LOT more onions than I would have liked. The few potatoes that I did eat were very soft and nicely seasoned.....but I wasn't looking for mouthfuls of sauted onions with my breakfast. read more

I've been here twice hoping the experience would improve, but unfortunately it hasn't. The service was inattentive we had to keep waving down the wait staff whenever we needed something. When I asked about Wi-Fi, I was told they don't provide the password for customers, which felt very odd for a breakfast spot in an area like CityLine where many people come to work or meet. The food was fine but very bland and nothing memorable. The atmosphere also felt uncomfortable and uninviting. Overall, there are many better cafés in the Richardson / CityLine area with better service, better menus, and Wi-Fi. Definitely not worth the money in my opinion. I got one of the skinny plate options and upgraded pancake to an upside down pineapple pancake. It was delicious! It has a sliced pineapple in the center and chunks of pineapple in the pancake. Jorge was a great server. Very attentive and made sure I was taken care of. The restaurant itself is pretty big with seating indoor and out. This was our first visit to another restaurant within the Cityline development. This is a great option for breakfast or brunch in the area. I went with the Mediterranean omelette with salmon. The portion size was generous and I had half for breakfast the next day It came with a choice of sides and I went with the fruit and a stack of pancakes - both were delicious. Food was decent. I was not aware that the crab Benedict was as a literal crab cake... I thought it would be shredded up crab so that was a little strange. Crab cake was good but just a weird concept. My sister ordered the salmon Benedict that usually comes with sushi grade raw salmon. This was seared salmon. She said it was good but not what she's used to. The thing that broke my hungry heart was that the eggs were cooked to death. I told the server that I wanted my poached egg to have a runny center and that's not what either of us got. I know he doesn't cook the food so not his fault but dang. We had the most excellent breakfast experience this morning, our first time at Bruncheon! We sat outside on the shaded patio and there were fans to keep us comfortable. It was actually pleasant outside at 8:30 am! A portion of the parking lot was coned off for a group of men showing off their Triumph cars. They were sitting on the patio as well and it was so fun listening to them talk about their engines, etc. I don't know their schedule but it sounds like they come most Saturday mornings. Now, let's talk about the delicious food! I ordered the Hawaiian Pineapple pancakes based on other Yelp reviews. The pineapple gets carmelized as it cooks and the pancake is light and fluffy. It's served with a light vanilla frosting so you don't even need any syrup. It's not overly sweet and they are plenty moist! You can order 2 or 3. I ordered 3, because I wanted leftovers for tomorrow. So delicious!!! Hubby ordered the Denver Omelet with hash browns and a biscuit. It was delicious as well! The omelet was fresh and filled with plenty of ham and veggies. The biscuit was so good too!! Our server, Mike, was very personable and attentive and was the icing on the cake to our 5 star experience! We had a great time because it all came together- great food, atmosphere and service!
