Schianos in Richardson is probably the best pizza around town! We don't eat a lot of pizza but when we do... It's definitely this place! Great pie and good prices considering all the price increases everywhere we look! We had the Sausage, Pepperoni, Canadian Ham with mushrooms all up in it. Check this out! read more

The pizza was not as expected, just blah. No flavor. For a place that advertises pizza it should have been better. Will never order pizza from them again. Years ago had repeat orders of the lasagna and that was outstanding. read more

****Buyers Beware**** If you're looking for great tasting food...This is it. One of the best pizza places in the area, if you like NY style thin pizza. These guys have been here a long time and the staff is excellent and the place is always clean. One time my large pizza when the spun it was a little smaller than it should have been, I prob wouldn't have even noticed, when I got there they said your large came out a little smaller than it should be so we threw in a medium pizza too.... Honest people.... read more

A long drive but worth it. We order a large pepperoni, sausage, and mushroom for pickup. Service was great and the pizza was delicious. They have a small dining area if you prefer to dine in as we might do on our next pizza Friday. read more

We eat here often because it's really close and everything has been decent. Then, we ordered the chicken and spinach Alfredo pizza and we hit the jackpot! It's a 10/10! I want to try the lasagna pizza next! read more

Everything is good here. You won't be disappointed. Been going here for a little over a decade.

This place is about 8 miles out of my way but I make sure to order even I'm around that side of town. Humble, good food, good portions and about average prices. I love the buffalo chicken pizza and their calzone. It's a quiet sit down place, browns around, nothing else much to the dining area. Service is great, order has never been wrong and always friendly. If you're near this place, I'd say pick Schianos over anything else around. read more

So I've never been to this restaurant before and my co-workers were working in the area on Saturday. I looked up pasta locations in Richardson. This place popped up. I saw the pictures, and they looked pretty good. The reviews were good also. When we got to the location around 3 p.m., the place was pretty empty, and we were able to get 3 tables for around 11 or 12 of us, no problem. I ordered the all meat Stromboli, and some got fettuccine Alfredo, and another's got the New York style slices. The price was decent l. The staff was great and attentive.we got all our food fresh, and the Stromboli was the perfect amount of bread to filling, and it was pretty big. Everything looked and tasted fantastic. Hats off to the cook staff, and the flavors were great. I would definitely coke again for the pizza and Stromboli. Staff 8 outa 10 always came by to check on the drink situation Location 8 outa 10 clean and well kept Stromboli 9 outa 10 great bread to filling ratio Pizza 8 outa 10 was not too greasy, and everyone said it was good Fettuccine Alfredo 8 outa 10 from what a co-worker told me, and it was a big bowl. I wanted to get a meatball sub to go but decided not to because I still had half a Stromboli for later All in all, this place is a hidden gem you gotta try out! The only issue I had was that it was kinda of hot because the ovens are right next to the dining area Also told the owner or manager forgot to ask him that I was gonna post a good review, which was un solicited read more

Let's face it, pizza is not one of the first cuisines that come to mind when you think about Texas foods. Well, Schiano's is not your typical Texas Pizza place! Eddie and Dana Schiano are serving outstanding pizza, pasta and sandwiches that will please any palate! If your family has a tough time deciding where to eat, Schiano's has something for everyone - including some unique pizza flavors that I just had to try. I settled on a 1/2 Cheeseburger and 1/2 Lasagna Pizza and a Philly Cheesesteak (yes, this is way more than a single meal, but I love cold pizza leftovers!) The Cheeseburger Pizza will play tricks on your brain. You shouldn't like pickles on a pizza, right? But, it works! The hamburger, cheddar cheese, pickles and bacon all come together atop the delicious Schiano's crust for a taste you won't believe. The Lasagna Pizza is now one of my favorite pizzas I've ever had - anywhere! The savory flavors of the marinara and Italian sausage are contrasted with chunks of ricotta cheese that really satisfy. I want to go back and try other items, but I don't think I can resist getting the Lasagna Pizza - at least to take home. The Philly also didn't disappoint. The beef was tender and flavorful, and the jalapenos delivered a nice spice, all on a toasted roll. I can't wait to go back! read more

Terrible customer service from the owner. He also demeans his staff in front of customers no less

Ordered again and got the Penne w/Pesto and the Lasagna Pizza. The pizza was just as fresh, hot and delicious as last time. The pasta was absolutely TO DIE FOR! It's hard to find pesto around here, and even harder to find great pesto. It has a touch of cream, white meat chicken breast, buttery mushrooms and parmesan cheese. It comes with a generous piece of toasted garlic butter bread on the side. read more

Their lasagna calzone is, "Legen, wait for it, dary!" I'll travel over an hour sometimes just for it. It's not just their calzones here that are great. The whole extension of my family and in-laws will come here for family gatherings and the food for everyone has always been phenomenal as everyone always orders something different. Just got back from New York and was really craving a good slice of pizza. A lot of pizza places in Texas really don't do by the slice if you're not in the big city. But this place really hit the spot. All of the ingredients was fresh, and you could taste the cheese, the dough was nice and thin and crispy, and the toppings was all fresh. Would definitely recommend 10 out of 10, best place in the area. read more

Quality, fresh ingredients. Schiano's is always on point! Love their pizza and ravioli options. Our go-to for italian takeout.

Ordered a to go order for the first time.. here is my take. Food: Ordered a large pizza with 3 toppings along with chicken parm and eggplant parm. Pizza was really good the crust was amazing and perfect cheese to crust, sauce ratio. (True NY pizza) The Chicken parm & eggplant parm were the stars though... OMG so good, the sauce is 100% handmade and thick not at all watered down. The breading on both was crispy and light. The chicken was pounded thin as it should be. The eggplant was thick and fresh and not at all slimy. I really suspect the pasta is also handmade as is was chewy but al dente. Absolutely delicious! Cost: Inexpensive for the quality and taste Overall: Hands down the BEST pizza and pasta I have had here since living here in Dallas. If your at all contemplating ordering fottabout it and order.. your mouth will thank you and you will be walking around your house like Tony Soprano asking if there are any leftovers! Salute! read more

I'm pretty sure if they have pizza in heaven that it would taste as amazing as theirs. This family owned business has been here since 2007! We ordered the calamari and it was perfectly crisp but what set this apart was that it is tossed in a garlic butter sauce! The kids and I were popping these back like they were popcorn! So good! I also ordered the Spinacci pizza which was loaded with spinach, artichokes, in a red sauce. The pizza was tasty and they made sure to load it up! My kids love an Alfredo pasta so I got them one to share. They enjoyed it. I stole a bite and loved the garlicky sauce I tasted! Thank you so much to Dana and the team for taking such great care of us. We absolutely loved it there! It was kid friendly and cozy! If you get a chance, head out and support this small local business! read more

Schiano's Pizza - Cheese and pepperoni, large pie... Excellent!!! - Pizza Near Me - Richardson, Texas

Quality ingredients and preparation. I haven't had a bad experience and I recommend the meatball sub and pizzas.

I have come to this restaurant multiple times over the past few years, and the experience has been the same each time...stellar. So much to be said about service and quality food. If you're expecting a Michelin star, white glove experience then this won't meet that expectation; however, if you're interested in an affordable, high quality italian cuisine lunch or dinner, then you're in luck. The pizza comes out fresh, the crust is soft, yet crunchy. The shrimp fettuccini Alfredo is one of my wife's favorite meals. It came with 6 jumbo shrimp. I truly enjoy local, family-owned restaurants that deliver on all counts. Please try this place out if you get a chance! read more

The fettuccine Alfredo with chicken was absolutely delicious. When it came out it was steaming. The environment and service was also spot on. The young man that work there are very respectful. read more

New to the area. Had a pizza delivered a couple of weeks ago and was very satisfied. Made a huge mistake and went for dine in tonight. Service was very inattentive and the food was fair at the absolute best. Don't stray off of the pizza, or you will feel like we do tonight, which is totally disappointed, with no intentions of going back. No atmosphere, no service, and very underwhelming food. read more

In the past couple weeks we've ordered from Schiano's Pizza. Will say that the pizza is fantastic; with the perfect level of crispness for the crust and quality ingredients for the pie. We recently returned from NY and it's been the closest to NY Pizza we've had in the area. Surely recommend it and love that they do serve pizza's by the slice on all days but Friday nights. Would give it 5 stars but we tend to get the pies pretty late compared to scheduled. Little over a week ago we placed an order for 4 pizza and was advised for delivery it would be between an hour and 90 minutes. We confirmed that it wasn't an issue, at all. If its later, let us know and we'll pick up. 110 minutes later we call for an update and are informed it would leave in the next 5-10 minutes. Sadly that means the pizza arrived well over 2 hours from the time we ordered them. read more

Great food. Authentic NY style pizza and sandwiches were delicious. Beef pepperoni was a plus. Family owned = good service.

Schiano's is the absolute best. Been our favorite pizza place for over 15 years. Try some eggplant on a pizza; the BEST!

Great pizza! I have been here twice and I have always received great service. I switched from Zalat pizza to Schiano's because it's superior in every way! I tried the meat eater pizza the last time I visited and wow. read more

Schiano's Pizza - Meat Eaters Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Richardson, Texas

The Meat Eaters pizza was underwhelming. I expected there to be more meat based on the name. I had to look veeeeery closely to see the tiny bits of sausage. It was just like eating a pepperoni pizza. It wasn't as thin as I'd expect a "NY pizza" to be, but it could be because I ordered the Specialty Pizzas and not a regular "thin slice with cheese." Maybe you can't put toppings on thin pizza. I'm really not sure. They weren't rude, but just not that informative. I'll go back and order a thin slice and see what happens. The Pesto Pizza was really good though. Mushrooms, onions, cheese, and pesto (I got it without chicken.) It wasn't greasy at all (no napkins needed to blot off the top before eating...but maybe I'm the only person who does that). The best part was the crust, though. I don't even like pizza crust, but it was crunchy and kinda doughy on the inside. read more

This is the second time in a row where I've had terrible service. Today I went in and sat down with my son to wait for a table. A party that came after us were sat down before us. I didn't say anything. Finally the guy I originally spoke to about getting a table saw me and told the teen working there that I was there before them so he cleaned a table off and had me sit there. I waited a few mins and took my son to the bathroom and came back waited exactly 5 mins and decided to leave since there were no menus given or anything. The time before this we had been seated and waited and waited and no one came to take our drink orders.. same thing happened the tables who sat after us had drinks and orders taken before us. I really really wanted to give the restaurant a chance hence I came back again but they need more staff that are more attentive read more

Such good pizza and so many wonderful options. One of my favorite slices in the dfw metropolitan area.

5 stars for taste!! Our go to pizza place!! Their bbq chicken pizza is our favorite! i

This place is absolutely terrible. The service is horrible. I used to love this place but the past couple of times I ate here it was abysmal. 1) They take forever. 2) They don't apologize if they got your order wrong or took long to deliver. They just want you to deal with it. 3) Food not hot when it arrives. After waiting for more than an hour or more you'd except the food to be hot, nope not at this place. Even though I live 3 minutes away from the location. 4) Jumbo pizza the slices were uneven as if we were eating left over pizza that was put all together. read more

Make sure you order way ahead and call in to make sure its ready. Took my two slices of pizza 50 minutes to complete (was told 30-35 minutes). This is a little greasier and more tomato sauce than mimi's but it still satisfies. These are giant slices, and they get quite floppy. The crust was a lovely doughy texture that had a faint crispy surface on the bottom, but It never felt undercooked. The ingredients are average, but they still satisfy. This doesn't do well on the pizza stone, as it makes the crust brittle. The meat s are text book in taste and textute. Overall, a good pizza joint (especially with the lack of local pizza joints in this neighborhood). They do a decent job with their lisanti ingredients. read more
