Ok, so CAVA isn't maybe five stars in general, but if we are talking about fast casual, it's top of its class for me. CAVA destroys Piada on flavor and value and dominates Chipotle on quality. I love getting a bowl with half greens, half lentils. You can try three delicious dips, load up on 1/2 roasted veggies (you won't regret!) and half meat. You can even ask for a piece of pita bread to pair with it. Yummy and a really hearty and reasonably healthy meal for fast casual. Service was fast and friendly. I just want to shout out Tony, Tyler , and Mason . One of the most amazing experiences i have ever had . They were so polite, fast paced, and helpful while we were dining in. While delivering in Murphy, I started feeling a bit hungry, but didn't feel like visiting my usual lunch spots. Since Cava just happened to be right next door to my pickup location, I figured I'd give it a shot. Bowls & Pitas is what they have to offer. So I definitely wanted to try a Pita, just wasn't sure which one... Now the thing is I'm usually a carnivore at heart, but I'm trying to cut back "somewhat" on meats. So I ordered the Crispy Falafel, which includes: Falafel, hummus, roasted eggplant, pickles, cabbage slaw, tomato + onion, garlic dressing, skhug. Placed the order using their app, & picked up in the drive-thru. When I was picking up the order, I asked for some hot sauce, I was told that they have some but I would need to go inside to pay for it! They don't have a way to accept payment in the drive-thru... Other than that, the Falafel Pita itself was loaded! Not just with all those ingredients listed, but with flavor! Made me forget all about the need for any added spice. this place is very inconsistent in its portion sizes. from what is blasted in photos all around the establishment to what they give you is way off in terms of quantity. when asked why so much differs from the marketing photos to the actual serving size itself I was told "yeah man there's a difference in how they advertise and what my manager allows me to give you." two stars and only that because the food is flavorful but it's very disappointing some days are good and some days are very lacking and it would t be an issue as long as they would be consistent. restaurant is usually backed up on dishes and empty tables just sit uncleaned for long periods of time as well. almost like they don't want you to eat there so you cant confront them about the prices they charge and portion sizes they provide. get home and BOOM surprise you get half a bowl. ran by young adults and teens who do not care, no wonder its inconsistent. turn over rate seems to be high as well. new people each week it seems. read more

This place is what so many chain restaurants miss and that is they have employees that actually care. I came in today, ordered my Steak Harrassa, (delicious as usual) went to pay and realized I'd forgotten my wallet. Adrianna and Jesse were so nice and said don't worry, it can happen to old dudes like me. Lol they didn't say that but in the age of everything being on the phone, my not having my wallet was a sign of the times and they were kind to their elder! Ha! I love Cava as a chain, but my most frequented location is this one. I love sitting here with friends on a sunny day. There's a lot of great restaurants in Murphy but if you're trying to slowly indoctrinate your friends to branch out to try Middle eastern food, Cava is the great fusion way to begin that process lol. I think this location is my favorite, as the staff are more involved and attentive. I've never gotten a bad order even with my legendary super long delivery pickup modifications lol. read more

Cava is sooo delicious and I am so glad that one opened up in Murphy! I love to build my own bowl, but for people who do not know how or what to order at Cava, they have menu selections for you to try. The service was quick, despite a busy Saturday afternoon around lunch time. Inside the restaurant was bright, clean and modern. However, it was a bit small. I would not recommend coming here with a group larger than 4. There are only a handful of tables here, and many can at best comfortably fit 2 people in my opinion. read more

Parking: Plenty of free open parking spaces (located in a strip mall type of area). Interior: Clean and modern. There are seating spaces but not a whole lot. I ordered the food to go, so this didn't matter to me. Service: It's fast casual style and there was no line when I went, so service was pretty fast. It's similar to Chipotle in which you choose your base, toppings, sauce, etc. Food: I ordered one of their signature bowls but substituted the meat and grain for something else. Every bite was packed with flavor! The interplay of the different spices truly complemented the meal! Drinks: I didn't order any drinks but they make their drinks in-house, so the flavors seem to be proprietary to Cava. We completely forgot to take pictures as both times were takeout. This is the new Cava location in Murphy. You can tell they're still adjusting so give them grace! My chicken + rightrice bowl had missing ingredients both times (feta the first and humus the second). Other than that, completely delicious! Tender steak, crunchy pickles, sweet pickled onions, hummus and I added spinach. Veggies are important! The pita bread was soft and thick enough to support all the fillings and sauce. There were healthier options, but I couldn't resist this wrap. Their salads looked fresh and there were options for lentils and high protein rice for vegetarians. *for those of you less saucy than me, I recommend requesting sauce on the side. I absolutely LOOOOOOVE CAVA! The variation of flavors causes huge taste explosions in my mouth! (Too vivid? Ah well, keep reading. Lol) I create different eccentric and eclectic bowls that satisfy every taste sensation! There's no letdown after I mix the ingredients, either. I feel like a food chemist when I take off the bowl cover. Mmmmmmmm! The service at this location is wonderful. The manager, Jesse, is mad cool! He really cares about your experience, too. If you go in and have a bad encounter or are disappointed with anything, ask for him. He's gotcha! I promise! As for the ambiance, it's OK. The seating in today's restaurants isn't designed to keep you there anyway. Just made for you to hurry up and eat and go. But the service should be enough to make you come back. read more

If I can give this location 0 stars I would. I eat at cava all the time in Richardson and I love it. The people are nice and accommodating and the food is always fresh. We stopped at this location after my daughters game and it was terrible from the people who work there, to the food being cold to the attitudes bc I asked for fresh chicken they would not accommodate me at all. Manager Jemonicka was talking to me like she wanted to beat me up bc I wanted fresh food!!!! Absolutely disgusted from these people and will never return and I will make sure to tell all of my family and friends to never step foot here either. I got the salad bowl with steak and it was barely edible. The quality of the steak pieces were awful. I kept trying to find one that was edible but most were just full of gristle. If I could give zero stars I would. Don't come here. Placed an online order for 5:15 and got there at 5:10 where we sat at the window for 10 minutes before even getting acknowledged. Once acknowledged we were told she would go check on it (girl never came back). After waiting another 5-10 minutes a different girl came and asked us for our name and then said she would go check on it (she also never came back). The time is now 5:40 and we haven't even been updated. Went inside and the girl had an attitude and told us they were waiting on steak but didn't feel the need to come to us and tell us that. Finally got our food after sitting for 40 minutes in the drive thru. The girl gave us our food with such aggression and didn't even apologize or tell us to have a nice day. Went during the grand opening to try Cava for the first time. Service was quick, food was decent but healthy. I think a few minor changes could help optimize the operation/output. First, the pita bread that comes with salad is heated at the very beginning of the line, and then placed and drug across the counter, all the way to the cashier. It was pretty gross and we ended up tossing because...I just couldn't stomach the idea of what it came across on the line. I know there's probably much worse in restaurants but something about seeing it happen is different to me. Not to mention, it gets handled by about 3 different people with the bread partially exposed at the top of the wax paper, this should probably take place at the end of the line and with larger wax wrapping to avoid contamination. The sauces are just thrown in the bowl, i feel like they should be put in a separate container or maybe have a sectioned bowl. Overall, food was decent but not anything I'd personally crave. But I'm glad I got to try it out and experience the flavors. Also, I did appreciate the drink selection, lots of refreshing drink choices outside of the norm. read more

All selections were very good. Harissa Avocado Bowl was spicy and delicious...spicy chicken included. Asked for dressing on the side and was glad I did. Just enough "hot" with very little dressing. Really enjoyed the selections. All ingredients were tasty and fresh. Grandson tried the kid's pita. He loved it...All of us tried the pita chips and tzatziki and hummus dips...all excellent. Selection of self serve drinks excited a couple of people in our party. Check out the menu. Service was better until a surge of customers walked in the front door. A couple of people in our party were skipped over and caused a bit of confusion for staff. It was eventually corrected. New location so service will probably improve with time. Not really conducive to comfortable seating for dine in. Next time will probably get food "to go". So glad it is in nearby Murphy!
