    Assorted Toro sushi

I've been coming here a couple of months and the quality of the sushi is extremely hard to beat even for North Dallas. Presentation is always creative and inviting. The specials and the options blow away any place in 20+ miles. I detest the typical strip shopping center sushi places but this is far and above better. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor is fun and eclectic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The music is always light jazz.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Mr Kim's specials are not to be dismissed either. Great value and excellent choices. Yes, Murphy is off the beaten path but I assure you it is well worth the trip!!!

Kenzo's never disappoints. You can feel the family-owned vibe the second you walk in everyone is so kind, service is phenomenal. The sushi is always fresh, the gyoza is perfect, and the chicken fried rice is amazing. One of those places you keep coming back to.

I always drive by but finally decided it was the day to try it and I was NOT disappointed! We got the K spicy ramen which was very good, perfectly cooked, and the broth was delicious. The shrimp yaki ramen was similar to a lo-mein and very flavorful. We got the salmon tower and fully thought it was a roll but the presentation was a pleasant surprise. It also tasted very good! They also gave us complementary popsicles at the end and I'm always down for a sweet treat! Definitely coming back!

Unfortunately, from my most recent visit here, the quality isn't the same anymore. I totally understand that small businesses are going through tough times right now, but the portions and quality of ingredients are notably lesser. For example, the tuna on my rolls was noticeably thinner, and the color was very off. The same items I've ordered many times in the past aren't like what I remembered.

Huge portions, fair pricing, quick service. This place reminds me a lot of Densetsu in West Plano. Portions are ginormous Ramen is good, definitely not mind blowing. They don't use the classic ajitama eggs and noodles are mid The tuna tower is standard, just wish they had pieces of regular tuna and not just the chopped up tuna Grand Canyon is huge and tasty. Huge shrimp tempura roll covered in tempura flakes, sauces, and avocado Also they give you a free ice cream at the end of your meal. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a cute mom and pop, family owned kind of place[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall recommend Kenzo. It won't be mind blowing but definitely very tasty and at a fair price

first time here, so flavorful, and so cheap for the quality! loved it will definitely be back!

Great food and service, alongside ice cream for the kids, the place gives a nice ambience and a chill environment.

Grand Canyon -- Huge generous portion. Delicious!

Are you looking for giant sushi rolls? Kenzo makes them!! Every visit, we get fresh sushi, big rolls, generous portions, consistently. When they're not too busy, they will offer complimentary food (like a few pieces of shrimp tempura). Nice! FOUR STARS for a few reasons. This last visit, we tried their signature Kenzo roll. It arrives at your table like a LasVegas showgirl, lol. Tall. Exciting. Beautiful purple orchid. But this amazing roll was an epic failure when it tasted like butane gas. Horrific taste to have in your mouth. We complained. They took it off our bill (gracefully). But. That taste ruined the rest of our dinner. I admire, respect, and go out of my way to support family owned businesses. But sometimes, they lose sight of how an ambiance can affect people. Kenzo offers that qaint cozy spot that feels like a hidden gem. But when a "bar area" has been shut down and converted into storage space, it's ugly and uncomfortable. I didn't enjoy looking at 20 sanitizer bottles, stacks of ToGo boxes, backup products, baby chairs, etc etc etc. It takes away from the cozy hidden gem vibe! It's a lovely area that should be for single dining, or having a drink while on a waitlist. My two cents. Not sure we will return anytime soon -- there's too many sushi spots to try to be loyal to this one.

The food was great, normally I'm not too fond of salmon sashimi, but the taste was great. I enjoyed the dressing on the salad. The pork gyoza was good. The best part was the smell and taste of the shrimp tempura. The service was great, it seemed like a family establishment and they were all very attentive.

Got seated immediately! Love this spot since it's close to home. Their staff is always nice and everything we have ordered we have enjoyed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is a smaller place though so I'd recommend getting there early because they close at 8:30pm.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Incredibly sweet owners, we got great service from the moment we walked in. The salmon here is SO good. The Pink Pink roll was delicious. They also have ramen here, we got the miso & spicy miso.

The karaage really didn't need any sauce, tasted fine by itself. The taro chips were quite addictive, good for scooping the salad. Miso ramen broth was not too creamy; pork belly was a little bit on the leaner side. Abura ramen (brothless) is a nice option during hot weather - ginger garlic sauce gave the noodles good flavor since it's broth-less & the noodles weren't drenched; the tonkatsu had a nice crisp. Other sauce & protein options available as well. Will try other menu items next time!

Upon entering the restaurant, we were led to a kiosk to place our order before sitting down at a table. We ordered the potstickers, abura ramen (brothless), and ramen in a blanket (ramen sandwiched between two tonkatsus), plus they gave us an order of the short ribs on the house! To start, the potstickers were very good and I liked that the filling was braised pork as opposed to the traditional ground pork, but the short ribs were on the tougher side. Moving onto the ramens, I really enjoyed my abura ramen; the flavors were great and the house pickles were a refreshing touch! However, while the ramen in a blanket is a unique take, we wish there was some sort of dipping sauce on the side because the tonkatsus were a bit bland otherwise.
