Great food and quick service, a nice place to stop by for lunch and would love to come back again.

Was a regular here 10+ years ago and then life happened and stopped coming. A few months ago I went back to Simon's and since that time I have introduced Simon's to a dozen friends. My favorite roll here is the BTS Roll. I love that Simon has so many different choices on his rolls and not the basic items. BTS has pico de gallo on top with salmon...my wife doesn't eat sushi but will pull off the salmon and give to me, which is perfect!

I love this place so much. The owners are amazing and their daughter, Christina, who waits on customers, absolutely rocks! SERVICE IS A 10/10! The food is also high quality. I never have to worry about the quality of the fish in my rolls - so fresh and tasty! The rolls are super good and you've got to try the BTS ROLL. But every roll I've ever had was stellar! I love their eel roll and the flavor is spot on! QUALITY OF FOOD 10/10 Atmosphere is a small intimate place. There is limited seating so be prepared to wait, it's worth it. ATMOSPHERE 8/10 I absolutely loveove love this place. If youve never been, give it a try! HIGHLY RECOMMEND side note: I've seen some people commenting on price being too expensive. That's crazy, every other place I've gone to is almost twice as expensive and the quality isn't as good. I don't understand people's expectations, especially if you see how expensive fresh quality fish is these days AND SIMON hasn't raised his prices in FOREVER. Simon is amazing and so is his family!

Our favorite spot for over 20yrs. It's always spot on with fantastic service. Simon is truly a master and we were graciously offered a new menu item, which is currently unnamed. The roll was outstanding, and as always Simon, thank you!

The service at this restaurant was not the best. I loved that it is a small and cozy BYOB place but I did not really feel welcomed. As for the food, the fried tofu was really good but the Tuna and Rainbow rolls were a bit disappointing.

We've been coming here for years. We always loved how welcoming everyone is even before we became regulars. The service has not changed. They are very quick to bring your food as it's prepared, fill you water and take away any empty plates! Your always greeted when you walk in and welcomed backed when you walk out! The quality of the fish is always amazing and the creativity on the specialty roll list is fun and unique!

This food is great. Actually, it is beyond great. Invigorating is more like it. vig·or /vir/ noun physical strength and good health. Yeah. Vigor. Simon's Sushi has a roll called BTS. It stands for Better Than Sex. I fed some to my goldfish, King Midas. A day later King Midas turned into a damn shark. INVIGORATING. 5/5 Would invigorate all over again.

One of the best sushi places in Dallas. Food is always consistently delicious. The BTS roll is by far the best. BYOB.

Last night I stopped by after seeing an ad on an evening scroll on my IG, and the algorithm knows me and my fish-tooth all too well. I drove 25 minutes and was presented with a lowkey shop. I was greeted by the cashier fellow, chose the Classic Box, and loved the authenticity and carefully crafted packaging (nice touch). The sushi was fresh, detailed, and satisfied my cravings. I can see people questioning whether the convenience of these boxes is comparable to restaurant dining experiences in prices, but that's also based on personal preferences as the quality is the same/better than most. I would love to see more box/custom options on the menu! Love to see how this young sushi spot evolves!

The presentation is beautiful! But the food itself was pretty lackluster for the cost. I got a variety set and my bf got the seared salmon set. Admittedly I've been to Aji-Kiji in San Francisco so my standards for boxed sushi omakase level was very high. Aji-Kiji was more elevated from the tiny building room to the food presentation, however the price was great too. Here it felt cheap in a few areas yet the price is the same level as them. The rice isn't the best and by extension, the rolls aren't perfect. I can get over that though, just picky due to the cost. Next, the fish was fishy. It was enough to make me worried if I could get sick. I ended up being fine, but honestly this place is just average sushi made to look better than it is

Honestly, some of the best gyoza I've had. The Cherry Blossom Roll was beautifully plated and the portions of each roll will for sure fill you up. I got gyoza and Katsu Don, and my partner got a Charashi Bowl and Red Clam sushi. The gyoza I'd say was above average and pleasantly crispy. The provided salad was pleasant with a strong citrusy ginger flavor. The Red Clam sushi had wasabi hidden underneath the meat, so keep that in mind if you're a spice baby like myself. My partner described the Charashi bowl as good, especially for the price. My Katsu Don is where I felt everything fell a little flat. It was overly sweet, the rice underneath tasted a bit stale and like nothing, and the katsu itself was a bit too moist and no longer crispy on the outside. However, I must note that it was an impressive $13, when I feel the usual is more like over $20, for a decent amount. The waitstaff brought us these lovely pre-peeled and cut oranges with the check and they were a nice touch to the meal. Overall we had a decent, pleasant experience here!

I'd like to start by saying this is some of my favorite gyoza I've ever had, including when I visited Japan. This is a must get. The sauce was delightful, the outside was perfect with a crunchy bottom and soft top, and the filling was delicious. Well worth $7. My bf got some calamari ring tempura, which was fine but we got a small portion compared to when we usually get calamari. There was only like 3 big rings and 2 small on the plate. I also got a Gyu sushi to try. Was it worth $4.50? Maybe, maybe not but I enjoyed it and it was a much higher quality than the beef sushi at say Kura. Now my Beef Yakisoba was questionable honestly. Smaller portion than I'm used to, the beef tasted awkwardly like hamburg and was chewy, and the sauce it was stir fried in was really sweet and thick, almost like honey. Someone might like it but for $18 it wasn't what I expected and wasn't to my tastes Bf got a Charashi bowl for $25 and stated it was mid as expected for the price. I think we would return, but IMO our food was a mixed bag.

We took advantage of their happy hour specials, which were a great deal and gave us a chance to try a few different rolls. The sushi itself was really tasty and beautifully presented. You can tell they put thought into how everything looks when it comes out -- always a plus when the food is as pretty as it is good! The only downside was that at one point we waited over 30 minutes for part of our order, which felt a bit long. That said, our server was very friendly and attentive, and parking was super easy, which made the overall experience stress-free. Despite the wait, we had a positive experience overall and would definitely consider coming back for another weekday happy hour!
