Tempura Udon ($16)
Rachel S.

My mother had frequently been here for lunch since she works nearby and has good things to say. I happened to be in the area, so the family decided to get lunch here on a weekend day. The place got fairly full inside around 12:30. There is outdoor seating too but not always available depending on the temperature. We were greeted by all the staff upon walking in, and service throughout was great! We really felt taken care of. The food was also commendable. I just wish they would have more plant protein options like tofu in their entrees as there are limited vegetarian let alone vegan options here. Options aside, what they do offer was delicious. We tried the tonkatsu bento box ($14) and the tempura udon ($16) which normally comes with shrimp and veggie tempura. They were able to substitute the shrimp tempura with more veggie tempura, which was nice. Portions were quite good for the price. The bento box components tasted good, although the accompanying sauces were a bit strong/salty. The udon and tempura tasted amazing, crispy, and fresh, and I would definitely get them again.

The seating is limited here, but the food and service never disappoints. The highlight was the Agadeshi Tofu and Caviar Mix over rice. So beautiful and delicious!

With a calming atmosphere where you can watch your sushi be rolled or watch any of their TVs, Densetsu is by far my favorite sushi place to eat at. We love their baked sushi (specifically the dynamite roll) and really all of their food is delicious. The service is very friendly and always helpful when you have questions!

Great quality, great service, great music. Food exceeded our expectations! Tried the Densetsu roll (loved the crunchy onion bits), red dragon (10/10!!), and spicy sirloin entree. They also gave us fresh oranges for dessert. Recommend for a casual, delicious meal!

First time here, I ordered the salmon teriyaki bento and volcano roll. The salmon teriyaki bento had a large slice of salmon with a delicious sweet teriyaki sauce I really enjoyed. The salmon itself wasn't amazing, but with the sauce and rice it came together well. It also came with a fresh salad with some sesame dressing and 2 deep fried gyoza. The fried gyoza was delicious! For $15 this was pretty good, and a large size. This tastes better than Shiawase in my opinion. The volcano roll was pretty good, but they added the tuna on top in a meatball form which I am not a personal fan of. The salmon on the sushi was good and the sauces were flavorful though! Service was really great! The food came out fast and fresh and I never had to ask for anything. They were friendly too. The ambiance is like a simple Japanese restaurant, clean and simple. Not too fancy but not too shabby either. Will some back for some fast and good Japanese food!

Wow! Iv been to plenty of sushi restaurants and this is the one to top. (Iv been to plenty) What makes this place the best, is the generous portions, the taste and the amazing display of sushi. This has been the only time where the plate of sushi felt like dinner plate of food and just sushi samplers. The staff was polite and friendly. The place was clean. The only thing I could wish for... is more space. I felt too close to the neighboring table. This place was great! Im making it my go to sushi home. Job job y'all

My favorite sushi restaurant. Omakase is always bomb. Service is consistently good. Not fancy or pretentious. Never had a bad meal here.

Hachi was open this past Monday when it was all icy and snowy which was a god send!!…read more It was my boyfriend's birthday and he really wanted some sushi, I saw the reviews and knew we were in for some high quality sushi! We loved everything we tried! We had the spicy tuna crispy rice (perfect level of spicy) Lots of salmon nigiri, some albacore nigiri A shrimp tempura roll and a natsu roll The portions and quality are amazing for the price points! Our server may have been the manager, and when he heard it was a birthday he gifted us a dessert The matcha cheesecake was balanced so perfectly! The space is small, but beautifully done and it doesn't feel cramped - I can imagine a wait when the road conditions are clear!

Although we usually do AYCE, this was a really great sushi spot…read more Atmosphere/Ambiance - 4/5 - Not a very large place as it has about 10 seats at the bar, and 10-12 tables. Will be busy during the weekends. Staff - 5/5 - Friendly and helpful with recommendations. Food/Drink - Ordered the following: California Roll - 4/5 - Nothing special, but for the kiddos. $7. Salmon Skin Salad - 4.5/5 - Really good with the sesame dressing. $10. Tako Wasabi - 5/5 - Always a fave. $5. Hamachi Serrano - 5/5 - Really flavorful with the pepper kick. $16. Kizami Hamachi - 5/5 - Must get. Yellowtail with mustard/wasabi/yuzu sauce and sriracha. $17. Miso Black Cod - 5/5 - Always a fan. $20. Squid Karaage - 5/5 - Never can say no to squid. $12. Overall, we still prefer AYCE places, but would definitely come back if we are not trying to pig out.

We got tuna and salmon nigiri, temaki rolls (salmon, yellowtail, blue crab), Hama chili, crispy rice (tuna and salmon) and karaage. Favorites were the tuna nigiri and crispy rice! My first experience for happy hour at the bar was spectacular (from service to food and cocktails)!…read moreBut unfortunately my second visit here was not good at all from the hostess stand to the service provided at our table. The food and drinks were still solid, but as I value good service, I was beyond disappointed. To start, the hostess attitude was very off putting . The bar was full, so I asked for a table, the hostess seemed annoyed that I did not have a reservation. After finding a table she rudely said we needed to be finished by 7 and asked where the other dining party was, I felt this was poor etiquette. Our server, Abigail, was not much better. If I say I cannot eat dairy, I should not have to clarify whether it is an allergy or preference as the bottom line is, it's something I cannot consume, I simply cannot and will not consume it. What really upset us, is sitting in between 2 tables that both had the same server as us, and watching them receive amazing and attentive service while received service that was completely below expectation. Overall our food and cocktails were great, the only complaint was my friend's very skimpy portion of broccolini compared to our previous visit. I do still enjoy Uchiko alot, and I will not allow the poor service to keep me from returning, however the inconsistency is something I could not just ignore . If and when I do return, I will definitely just stick with the bar, as I preferred their service much better.

Since it was my first time here and I arrived 5 minutes before happy hour ended, I ended up ordering 7 appetizers and 1 yakitori and got full off of those before I even got to order any ramen. I enjoyed all of the appetizers though. We ordered the crab Rangoon, hamachi rayu, crispy pork ears, shishito peppers, beets and Brussels, takoyakis, and seared scallops. We also tried the beef tenderloin yakitori. All of it was really good. The vibe in here is good and they played good music. They have a pretty extensive drink menu ranging from cocktails to beers and sake. I love their open kitchen concept. Next time I'll be back to try their ramen!

The only non-happy hour item we got was the tsukemen (available after 5 pm). The noodles themselves were good, but I was a little confused by the dipping broth. Tsukemen broth is usually thicker and saltier so it really coats the noodles when you dip them, but this one tasted more like regular ramen broth. I ended up pouring everything together and eating it like a bowl of ramen instead
