This sushi dinner made me happy cry, no joke! I don't live in the area, so this was my first really good sushi meal in about a year! I got the seaweed salad, crazy horse & sweet mango rolls, & scallop nigiri. Hubby got the yakisoba. Everything was beyond delicious. The service was amazing too; very prompt and polite. This would be my regular sushi spot if I lived nearby.

Back again and I am so in love with everything! AJ and his mom are amazing! Our server Leon is super!!! Very attentive, kind and quick! Sushi is spectacular and fresh as always. I love how innovative and high quality everything is! I got the tuna tower (they use scallops, tuna, avocado and REAL SNOW CRAB!!) This is definitely our favourite spot for sushi! Everything is clean and spotless! Ai sushi's team really is the best!

Solid value sushi joint with great service. It seems family run to me and you can tell they really care about their customers. This feels like your neighborhood restaurant that you want to eat at because they have good food and they actually know who you are. It's become a tradition for us to come here on special occasions. I love all the different roll options, especially that salmon lovers. And pro tip is that they do hand rolls that are stuffed with fish. It's off menu so you have to ask to see what they have available. The hand rolls are like a little ice cream cone of delicious fish, what more could you ask for? This is a no frills, good food restaurant not some overpriced sushi place.

Cute little sushi restaurant inside a strip mall next to 99 ranch. The service was good! We arrived around 7:30 pm on a Friday evening. The place was not packed and we were immediately seated. The sushi was good. Free edamame. We ordered 3 rolls: spicy tuna, dragon roll, and the #1 roll. All were pretty good!

FOOD Volcanic Scallop - The volcanic scallop roll was super delicious. The sauce on the outside is generous and compliments the California sushi roll underneath. The masago on the top is really good. The scallops were fresh and well cooked. All the ingredients were yummy and good quality. Definitely a great place for sushi and the prices are pretty reasonable. Would definitely recommend! VIBES The place was pretty empty around 6-7 PM on a Friday night. Nice wooden vibes throughout. There are wooden booths that give nice sense of privacy as well as tables and chairs. Great for getting sushi whenever. SERVICE Service is great! The lady was super sweet with giving recommendations on what to eat. She also checked on us often. Everything was quick to come out and the place is really clean.

I would give this a 3.5 overall. The service was really great! We got free edamame which was good. We also got miso soup and salad with our bento boxes. I got a two meat bento box with sashimi and tonkatsu. My boyfriend got the three piece with sesame chicken, chicken katsu and teriyaki beef. I really liked the sesame chicken and the salmon sashimi was pretty solid as well. It's a lot of food for the price. However, it smells not good in there; like a sewage smell.

Hands down our favorite Japanese restaurant in DFW, the only place we go multiple times a month. Everything is always fresh, flown in straight from Japan. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE their seasonal specials of the day. Impeccable service, and absolutely fantastic chefs.

Cute Restaurant. Friendly staff. They give you steamed edamame which is nice, most places charge for that now. Ordered salmon sashimi, super lion king and grilled scallops. The sashimi and super lion were really good. Was not a fan of the grilled scallops, it was overcooked and tough.

However, the past two times we shared this place with another couple who loves sushi just as much as my husband and I do. One reason we kept coming back, aside from all the delicious food, was how they labeled their menu with the top food allergens. As a food allergy mom, I appreciated this so much! Especially when I was still breastfeeding, I had to eliminate all of my daughter's allergies to breastfeed safely. The main ones I had to look out for was gluten, dairy, egg, nuts, and sesame seeds. The safe was aware of my limitations and shared empathy, not annoyance like other places. T Thankfully I'm out of that stage so I can eat anything on the menu now. We would like to take our daughter here some day, she loves sushi a lot! But being only 5 years old, we'll need to save it for a special occasion. We get carried away when we come here. The food here is top notch and worth every penny, so we'll have to save up. Cooked dishes we always order: Brussel sprouts, steamed mushrooms, hamachi collar and miso cod. All the nigiri/sushi is fresh and you can't ignore the specials or seasonal menu!

Having lived in Hawaii, we ate sushi, sashimi, and poke on a regular basis. Finding spots like this allows us to create new memories while also feeling a bit nostalgic for the flavors we love. We might have gone a little overboard, but everything was incredible! We ordered the Crunchy Eel Roll, Hamachi Nigiri, and Tuna Nigiri, along with two of the EBESU Course menus. My husband had the Chirashi Don and I went with the Toro Tekka Don. Love, love, love. As you can see, it was a lot of food, but every single piece was cooked and cut to perfection. The dishes are very easy to share, and I think next time we'll lean into that more so we can sample even more of the menu. If you are looking for authentic, high-quality Japanese food, this is the place to go!

The three of us ordered a variety of sushi rolls and shared them. We went with a wide variety of options and found it was hard to land on just one favorite as a result. They offer options with some unique variations (e.g. like the North Texas roll that is topped with guacamole and baked with spices). The prices were reasonable, and I will say the width of each piece was on the smaller end, and we still walked away very satisfied with the amount of our meal. The service was on the slower side. They got slammed shortly after we got there and said they don't typically have that much of a crowd on a Sunday night so it caught them off guard. The restaurants seating area is cozy with a warm ambiance.

God bless her there was only one waitress for all the guests and I could tell she was very overwhelmed. It took one girl I was with over an hour to get any of her rolls and we had to remind our waitress. The salmon I got was really good and it said it came with the Japanese vegetables and I literaly only got 2 small carrots and 2 small potatoe slices, I love vegetables so this was extremely dissapointing.

The one in Frisco was terrible, but this one is much better!…read more The green hulk and tango rolls were my favorite, but our party also really enjoyed the shrimp dynamite roll, red mountain, and Edoko tower. The ebi robata was not my favorite, the shrimp has quite a kick in the throat. The chicken thigh robata was really good. Excellent flavor. Salmon belly was nice and fresh too. We came to celebrate a birthday and they were kind enough to put her sushi in a sushi boat. Service was excellent, our waitress was fantastic. I'd like to start by saying this is some of my favorite gyoza I've ever had, including when I visited Japan. This is a must get. The sauce was delightful, the outside was perfect with a crunchy bottom and soft top, and the filling was delicious. Well worth $7. My bf got some calamari ring tempura, which was fine but we got a small portion compared to when we usually get calamari. There was only like 3 big rings and 2 small on the plate. I also got a Gyu sushi to try. Was it worth $4.50? Maybe, maybe not but I enjoyed it and it was a much higher quality than the beef sushi at say Kura. Now my Beef Yakisoba was questionable honestly. Smaller portion than I'm used to, the beef tasted awkwardly like hamburg and was chewy, and the sauce it was stir fried in was really sweet and thick, almost like honey. Someone might like it but for $18 it wasn't what I expected and wasn't to my tastes Bf got a Charashi bowl for $25 and stated it was mid as expected for the price. I think we would return, but IMO our food was a mixed bag.
