Happened to check this very small hole in the wall spot while driving by. I could only grab a butterfly kiss sushi togo because we were in a rush, but this place is legit! It actually feels quite cozy and I was quite surprised by the neat Japanese art decor. They have a pretty wide variety of food options to choose from. The service was quick and was greeted with a nice smile and "hellooo" from the older gentleman. If I lived closer this would def be the spot to grab sushi with a friend. read more

Fun sushi spot with VERY generous fish portions and an accommodating menu. The restaurant itself is pretty small, but the takeout is very good! The only thing I would say is maybe smaller and higher quality fish portions per sushi. There is always little to no wait time so this is the perfect place to get some quick, good-tasting sushi! We were craving sushi and we live nearby this location. It is very easy to locate and find parking. Since it is closer to the neighborhoods, a lot of people order to-go which I recommend since there is not a lot of seating inside. We ordered to eat inside and the service was relatively quick. The dishes came out one at a time but I highly recommend calling and getting the food to-go instead. There's a counter and a few seats so the ambiance isn't that great but if you want to get to-go, they are a good place to get sushi from. read more

Picked up lunch to go. Sashimi and sushi bento. The minute I opened the box I knew something was wrong. The salmon was not fresh and had a stale fishy taste. I had to spit it out. The salmon cut was very muscled and hard to even bite. Tuna was just ok. You can't mess around with sushi. Disappointing. read more

This is my go to local sushi spot! My favs are the big poppa roll, Philly roll and Spicy tuna. The sushi is fresh and fast. The staff is nice and efficient. Super generous with the fish portions! I ordered the salmon poke and seaweed salad. Both were incredibly fresh and flavorful. Food was prepared very quickly! It's a small place with limited seating options, but they make use of the space they have. The environment is cozy with a homemade sort of feel. The server was sweet and efficient as well. read more

The sushi is amazing but every time I go, it just gets dirtier and dirtier. Fruit flies everywhere which makes it unpleasant to eat there. The area by the trash can and behind it is appalling, such a shame because the food is great. Makes you question the cleanliness of the kitchen. I had never been here so when I walked in I was surprised by how small it is. Just a couple tables and some tall stool options. Very mom and pop vibes. We took advantage of the lunch combo special - I had to ask what was cooked versus raw bc there were no symbols or indications on the menu, the man behind the counter was very kind and helpful came out to look at menu with us thankfully no one was behind us. What a hidden gem! We had very low expectations going into a small, strip mall sushi place. We were BLOWN AWAY. Everything was fresh, beautiful and delicious. Imagine stepping back in time to 2016 when everything was more affordable and before shrinkflation made everything small and sad. We have ordered from Oda several times now and each time it's been a slam dunk! The sashimi is so fresh that it will literally melt in your mouth. I always get their lunch sushi sashimi special because it's just that good! Their cucumber salad is also a favorite for me. Everything on the menu looks awesome and I really do need to try more items out. They just have me so locked in with that lunch special! The sushi gets 4 stars but the service easily made it a 5 star experience. This is a small, very casual sushi spot - great for takeout orders. The service was so friendly, and they even brought us a seared Cajun salmon sample on the house. We ordered the following rolls and enjoyed them all: 2 midway rolls, Sunny, Crazy, and Timmy. The restaurant is rather small so I would recommend going either alone or with 1 friend if you want to eat there. This place is awesome! I have done reviews they have sent and always need to remind myself to do external reviews as well. The food here is great! and the prices are nice. I usually only get carryout, but when I arrive to get my order, they staff is extremely nice, courteous, and always smiling! They do have seating inside and outside if you want to dine in and very clean and cozy. Went here on a weekday for lunch. Nice and clean. You can order sushi or poke bowl. You have sheets to fill out your order hanging to the right of the front door. Just follow the instructions and pass it to the cashier in the back. The poke bowl has fresh ingredients and tasted good. I got the salmon which tasted great. Unlike other poke places, you only get 2 choices for sauce (original soy or yuzu). That being said, they have other sauces like spicy mayo and wasabi mayo in bottles at the pickup that you can add yourself. I got gyoza and Katsu Don, and my partner got a Charashi Bowl and Red Clam sushi. The gyoza I'd say was above average and pleasantly crispy. The provided salad was pleasant with a strong citrusy ginger flavor. The Red Clam sushi had wasabi hidden underneath the meat, so keep that in mind if you're a spice baby like myself. My partner described the Charashi bowl as good, especially for the price. My Katsu Don is where I felt everything fell a little flat. It was overly sweet, the rice underneath tasted a bit stale and like nothing, and the katsu itself was a bit too moist and no longer crispy on the outside. However, I must note that it was an impressive $13, when I feel the usual is more like over $20, for a decent amount. The waitstaff brought us these lovely pre-peeled and cut oranges with the check and they were a nice touch to the meal. Overall we had a decent, pleasant experience here!
