Not only is this place pretty good but the price is very friendly too! Inside only has a few tables so most people pick up orders and eat at home. the prices for rolls and sushi are very reasonable if you don't want to spend too much on sushi and just want something good a bit more causal. I got the salmon roll with imitation crab inside, avocado along side with their cajun edamame which were all spot on and delish! The staff were friendly and welcoming as well. read more

Happened to check this very small hole in the wall spot while driving by. I could only grab a butterfly kiss sushi togo because we were in a rush, but this place is legit! It actually feels quite cozy and I was quite surprised by the neat Japanese art decor. They have a pretty wide variety of food options to choose from. The service was quick and was greeted with a nice smile and "hellooo" from the older gentleman. If I lived closer this would def be the spot to grab sushi with a friend. read more

We absolutely loved Oda Sushi! The inside was so cute and welcoming, and I loved all the artwork and little details throughout the restaurant. The sushi was incredibly fresh and every bite was amazing! We tried a few different rolls and loved every single one. The two stars are only for the great sushi we had on our first visit. Unfortunately, this visit was a completely different experience. The deduction is due to the overwhelming smell when we walked in -- it was so bad we had to immediately turn around and leave. The odor was unlike anything I can describe, and it made us uncomfortable staying inside. I hate leaving a negative review, especially because we enjoyed the food previously, but when you're paying $15+ for rolls, you expect a clean, pleasant environment to enjoy them in. I hope management looks into this issue because the smell was severe enough to drive customers away. read more

We were craving sushi and we live nearby this location. It is very easy to locate and find parking. Since it is closer to the neighborhoods, a lot of people order to-go which I recommend since there is not a lot of seating inside. We ordered to eat inside and the service was relatively quick. The dishes came out one at a time but I highly recommend calling and getting the food to-go instead. There's a counter and a few seats so the ambiance isn't that great but if you want to get to-go, they are a good place to get sushi from. read more

Picked up lunch to go. Sashimi and sushi bento. The minute I opened the box I knew something was wrong. The salmon was not fresh and had a stale fishy taste. I had to spit it out. The salmon cut was very muscled and hard to even bite. Tuna was just ok. You can't mess around with sushi. Disappointing. read more

This is my go to local sushi spot! My favs are the big poppa roll, Philly roll and Spicy tuna. The sushi is fresh and fast. The staff is nice and efficient. The sushi is amazing but every time I go, it just gets dirtier and dirtier. Fruit flies everywhere which makes it unpleasant to eat there. What a hidden gem! We had very low expectations going into a small, strip mall sushi place. We were BLOWN AWAY. Everything was fresh, beautiful and delicious. We have ordered from Oda several times now and each time it's been a slam dunk! The sashimi is so fresh that it will literally melt in your mouth. I always get their lunch sushi sashimi special because it's just that good! Their cucumber salad is also a favorite for me. Everything on the menu looks awesome and I really do need to try more items out. They just have me so locked in with that lunch special! The sushi gets 4 stars but the service easily made it a 5 star experience. This is a small, very casual sushi spot - great for takeout orders. The service was so friendly, and they even brought us a seared Cajun salmon sample on the house. We ordered the following rolls and enjoyed them all: 2 midway rolls, Sunny, Crazy, and Timmy. Our chef lacked energy and put on a lack luster show. I had to wait for my protein because he did not prepare the correct amount of protein. When the bill came out the total didn't add up. It was almost $4 more than what the total should have been. This place was not worth driving across town for.

We loved being able to see the brewery, and the dim lighting set a cool, relaxed tone. The employees were nice, friendly, and welcoming, which added to the overall experience. ODA Sushi absolutely deserves five stars! I've tried all the rolls and the miso soup, and everything was perfect from start to finish. The sushi is incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor -- you can tell they use top-quality ingredients. Each roll has its own unique touch, and every bite tastes just right. The miso soup was rich and comforting, perfectly balanced, and a great way to start the meal. The restaurant itself is clean, cozy, and has a calm, welcoming atmosphere. But at that point, we abandoned the Tuna Tower altogether because... why gamble getting sick? The Dragon Roll followed. Also small in size for the price, didn't match the picture on the menu but was somewhat edible. I feel like Kroger sushi would have been a better option. The wait staff stayed polite even though our disappointment was practically radiating across the room. When asked, "How was your dinner?" we gave the safest answer possible: "It was okay." About half of the menu was unavailable as well, which is understandable for a new restaurant still finding its footing. That said, the wait staff were extremely nice and receptive to our feedback, and management handled our concerns appropriately and compensated us fairly. This is an expensive restaurant, so expectations are understandably high, but the quality of the food makes me optimistic. I genuinely want Hinoki to succeed and will definitely give it another try after they've had some time to work out the kitchen and service kinks. There's a very good restaurant here--it just isn't quite there yet.
