Chicken and Steak Hibachi

Was in Carrollton for the weekend and had a strong craving for hibachi. With a quick Yelp search this place popped up. I did a mobile order so can't speak to the quality of service other than they were super friendly when I went to pick up my food. I ordered the chicken and steak hibachi and I gotta say; the portion sizes were great. I love the fact you get to customize your order to your liking and picking which sauces, veggies, and base you want. The food was cooked well. Needed slightly more cooking sauce base but once I added the Yum Yum sauce, it was perfection. Highly recommend if you're looking for a good hibachi place without the fanfare of the table experience.

New restaurant open in Prestonwood Park shopping center. The steam juicy dumplings is what caught my eye! Very delicious, hot and fresh! It's great comfort food. Also ordered Edamame and Beef Fried Rice. Patrons are first shown placing their order by checking boxes on their menu. The food is delivered on a path finding automated server - robot that whistles a cute tune. You can place additional food items by scanning a QR code at your table. They can make to order or preference which I was thankful for! The staff is always so friendly and helpful. We enjoy dining here!

This small shop is easy to find close to Midway and Park. Lots of parking in front. We were greeted as we entered, you seat yourself. The waitress came over and explained their menu We ordered from the hibachi menu pick your protein, 5 veggies, sauce ect. The food is made fresh when u order. In about 10-15 ?minutes it was brought to our table via a interesting "robot" . The waitress followed it and pulled the plates off and it then returned to the kitchen. The food was excellent, the serving size was large and it was seasoned perfectly. We will definately stop again.

If you think of this place as a typical hibachi and sushi place, you'll be sorely disappointed. It isn't the place where you have a hibachi chef cooking right in front of you or anything like that. The type of food is more like the hibachi/teriyaki places you eat from in the mall, which I can say that the mall ones actually taste better. I got the hibachi rice with chicken, the fried dumplings and the cheese wontons. The cheese wontons were like a 2/5 and only because of the filling. The outside wonton wrapper taste pretty stale and I could've used it as a weapon to kill someone (they were that hard). The filling inside was delish tho especially with the sweet and sour sauce that comes with it. The fried dumplings were mediocre. They taste like the ones you get from the store and fry yourself. Nothing special. The hibachi rice combo was really disappointing, the chicken wasn't horrible, and the veggies were okay. My biggest gripe would be the fried rice. They taste kind of salty with the egg and it was literally just too much soy sauce for my taste. The service was nice though. The server was friendly and would come by often. The delivery robot was cute but there's several restaurants that's already doing that for me to come just because of that.

Basically this is a build your own stir-fry grill. Pick your starch, your protein, your vegetables and your sauce. We had chicken breast, broccoli, cabbage, mushrooms, pineapple and zucchini with fried rice. It came out hot and fresh and was enough for my daughter and I to share as a light lunch. The chicken was tender and juicy and the vegetables were like just picked fresh. A Robot named "Peanut" delivered our meal. Cute gimmick that might have more practicality at a busy restaurant. Place was clean with nice tables. Great service topped off the experience!

Yummy food good service. Prices are odd I had to pay $1 extra for chili oil?¿ what???? Would have been 5 stars. My total plus tip was over $18...... kinda wild. But it was a lot of food I made 2 meals out of it so perhaps not too expensive in reality idk

Always good food, my regular is the combo fried rice bowl. The only thing I wish they would change is to have eggrolls.

Excellent service, ambiance, and food!…read more The Chef's choice 5 piece sushi had tuna, salmon, yellowtail, and 2 others I had never heard of. The 2 others were the best ones. Sake toro and mendaiko cream udon were fantastic. I had no idea shrimp was in the pasta as we didn't see any. Chicken thigh yakitori was also very good. Very flavorful, but wished they would marinate it in the glaze that just gets brushed on. Salmon roll, tuna roll, and yaki gyoza were fine. Probably wouldn't order them again. Spicy tuna hand roll was good, but eat it quickly so the nori doesn't get soft and chewy. Unagi hand roll was fine, nothing special. Service was great, they quickly cleared empty dishes. My only con is the suggested gratuity at the bottom is calculated with tax included, meaning you're tipping on tax if you just check one. Hell would freeze over before I ever tipped on tax. That should be illegal.

Food: 5/5 Service: 3/5…read more I came to Hanakin for a birthday dinner and ordered a variety of dishes including sashimi, creamy mentaiko udon, seafood udon, and tempura. The fish quality here is always super fresh, which is why I keep coming back. One of my favorites is the mentaiko udon as it is creamy and noodles are chewy. Service can be a bit slow during dinner hours. Our waitress forgot about our salad until the end, so we ended up not getting it. She also missed that we noted it was a birthday celebration and forgot the candle, so we had to remind her. That said, they gave us cheesecake on the house for the wait, which was a really nice gesture and appreciated. Overall, great food and fresh fish, just expect a slower pace during busy times

Been here a few times when they opened and loved all my experiences. They had great service, great…read morefood, and most importantly, they had a fairly decent price. Came here for dinner two nights ago and although the restaurant itself looks the same, a lot of things were different. I'm not sure if they changed management recently, but I was pretty disappointed with my visit. Changes: -Their dinner menu is ONLY AYCE when before, you have the option of getting an entree or roll if you're not that hungry -Menu is also more condensed; they took out some of the food items and added a hibachi section -Drinks are not included, when before they were. (We did not know of this change.. soda is $2.50 and soda water is $1.50 just fyi) -Price changed from $34.95 to $36.95 (adult) -Pepper Tuna used to be very moist and good, but it was dry and lacked flavor -There is now a limit of 2 hour seating when before there were none -For Sashimi, there is now a 20 piece max for each item, when before there were none -There is also a fee now for wasting food (not sure how much though) We had our usual and ordered their seafood boil, which is a limited option. Sashimi was great, no issues there. Edamame wasn't steamed all the way, not sure how you can mess that up. They took out their stir-fry noodles, which was one of my favorites so that was disappointing. They had a tom yum soup, but turns out it was a typo(?). Onto their seafood boil. They have 3 different flavors of cajun, garlic butter, and something else. Our mistake was getting their cajun. The boil consisted of 4 shrimps, 4 crawfish, 2 mussels, and 1 potato. The only great thing was the crawfish and potato. Shrimp was overcooked. Now let me talk about their cajun seasoning or sauce....What recipe did they use??? Cause that sauce was TERRIBLE. It was NOT cajun. It was more like a thick salad dressing sauce and it was NOT GOOD. They should maybe use a different kind of cajun recipe or maybe not sell something cajun-y cause they are a sashimi/sushi place, NOT a seafood boil place. Our boil was also lukewarm, if not warm and lowkey seemed like it was left out and not fresh.. We finished it not because we wanted to, but more so because we didn't want to get charged for wasting food so that's pretty sad. You are better off going to kickin crab for a much better and tastier experience. They also sell cocktails now for $10. Overall, this place used to be great and we would always recommend other people to come here, but after our most recent visit, we will probably go to other ayce sushi places around the area. For 2 people, you can easily spend over $100+ just on their new prices and drinks..

Ok reservation was for Sunday @ 3:30PM…read more When you make a reservation they don't tell you this, but your chef won't be in until 30-45 minutes after. You'll get drinks and be offered apps first which could take 30/45 minutes. If you are in a rush my advise is to make reservation earlier. Now food wise it was delicious. Brian our chef was super awesome. Did all kinds of tricks and cooked our food perfectly. It was pricey but worth it. The group all shared everything. For apps we had the edamame and the pork dumplings. Dumplings were amazing. For hibachi We tried the fillet, the scallops, the shrimp, the chicken, the lobster, the veggies. Seriously everything was good. Like I said, the only downfall is if you are expecting to have dinner at your reservation time that won't happen. It will Be 45 to an hour before you do. So worth it. We shall be back.

Stopped by Sushi Masu on a cold day so I was craving something warm! I went for the tonkotsu ramen…read more It came with an egg, pork chashu, bamboo, and some imitation seafood bites. I would say this ramen was more like instant ramen style and the noodles were on the softer side. They do have a nice happy hour, though! Appetizers are $1 off, simple sushi rolls are $1, and specialty rolls are $3 off. There was a drink special too, but I can't remember exactly what it was. I shared a couple sushi rolls with my friend and those were actually solid. Plus, they have pickled wasabi, which I always ask for at sushi places, so that was a nice touch!
