Crunchy albacore roll $15 with slivers of fish.
    Amanda R.

I forgot why I quit coming here. 8 years later and I remember why. Soon as I received the bill, I had a flashback. Ugggggh! It's WAY overpriced for what you get. The food is simply just ok to the palate. Extreme disappointment for a return visit on two occasions. I wanted great food, it wasn't what I was expecting. The rolls were extremely small for the price. Small slivers of sashimi placed on top of roll. The albacore roll was quite petite. It made me really sad. If the sashimi had been sliced any thinner I would have not been able to see it. I was expecting to be blown away. Instead, it was my money that was flying away. I had two plates and the bill was $36 without the tip. AND I was still hungry! That's a lot of money for 1 person and receiving such a small amount of food. Boo! The place is clean, you're greeted with a shout out. Enough room....However, as a previous author wrote, if you're not a regular, you don't/wont get that special "I belong feeling." Spot on observation. I'm done. The price of the food is freaking nuts! No wonder I never returned. With a 20% tip, you've over extended yourself for the month! I never missed a thing in all these years. Will I return? Probably not anytime soon. Waste of money to be served average food and to leave hungry. That usually doesn't happen with me. It is BYOB. That's a good thing. Big plus for that! January 2024

Great food and quick service, a nice place to stop by for lunch and would love to come back again.

    BTS Roll

Was a regular here 10+ years ago and then life happened and stopped coming. A few months ago I went back to Simon's and since that time I have introduced Simon's to a dozen friends. My favorite roll here is the BTS Roll. I love that Simon has so many different choices on his rolls and not the basic items. BTS has pico de gallo on top with salmon...my wife doesn't eat sushi but will pull off the salmon and give to me, which is perfect!

I love this place so much. The owners are amazing and their daughter, Christina, who waits on customers, absolutely rocks! SERVICE IS A 10/10! The food is also high quality. I never have to worry about the quality of the fish in my rolls - so fresh and tasty! The rolls are super good and you've got to try the BTS ROLL. But every roll I've ever had was stellar! I love their eel roll and the flavor is spot on! QUALITY OF FOOD 10/10 Atmosphere is a small intimate place. There is limited seating so be prepared to wait, it's worth it. ATMOSPHERE 8/10 I absolutely loveove love this place. If youve never been, give it a try! HIGHLY RECOMMEND side note: I've seen some people commenting on price being too expensive. That's crazy, every other place I've gone to is almost twice as expensive and the quality isn't as good. I don't understand people's expectations, especially if you see how expensive fresh quality fish is these days AND SIMON hasn't raised his prices in FOREVER. Simon is amazing and so is his family!

Our favorite spot for over 20yrs. It's always spot on with fantastic service. Simon is truly a master and we were graciously offered a new menu item, which is currently unnamed. The roll was outstanding, and as always Simon, thank you!

The service at this restaurant was not the best. I loved that it is a small and cozy BYOB place but I did not really feel welcomed. As for the food, the fried tofu was really good but the Tuna and Rainbow rolls were a bit disappointing.

We've been coming here for years. We always loved how welcoming everyone is even before we became regulars. The service has not changed. They are very quick to bring your food as it's prepared, fill you water and take away any empty plates! Your always greeted when you walk in and welcomed backed when you walk out! The quality of the fish is always amazing and the creativity on the specialty roll list is fun and unique!

This food is great. Actually, it is beyond great. Invigorating is more like it. vig·or /vir/ noun physical strength and good health. Yeah. Vigor. Simon's Sushi has a roll called BTS. It stands for Better Than Sex. I fed some to my goldfish, King Midas. A day later King Midas turned into a damn shark. INVIGORATING. 5/5 Would invigorate all over again.

Used to be good but it's gone really downhill. Service was fine (not great but not bad) but the food was extremely disappointing.

I got gyoza and Katsu Don, and my partner got a Charashi Bowl and Red Clam sushi. The gyoza I'd say was above average and pleasantly crispy. The provided salad was pleasant with a strong citrusy ginger flavor. The Red Clam sushi had wasabi hidden underneath the meat, so keep that in mind if you're a spice baby like myself. My partner described the Charashi bowl as good, especially for the price. My Katsu Don is where I felt everything fell a little flat. It was overly sweet, the rice underneath tasted a bit stale and like nothing, and the katsu itself was a bit too moist and no longer crispy on the outside. However, I must note that it was an impressive $13, when I feel the usual is more like over $20, for a decent amount. The waitstaff brought us these lovely pre-peeled and cut oranges with the check and they were a nice touch to the meal. Overall we had a decent, pleasant experience here!

Honestly, some of the best gyoza I've had. The Cherry Blossom Roll was beautifully plated and the portions of each roll will for sure fill you up. The ahi tower was delicious- I added ponzu sauce to cut some of the sweetness of the house sauce. Overall 5/5 stars

The food is so amazing and the service also stands out every time I come here because the staff is so attentive. The photos I'm sharing are from their Mother's Day omakase. I brought my family here to celebrate my mom, and I was really impressed with how accommodating they were. A few of the dishes included shellfish, which my brother is allergic to, but the staff handled it so smoothly and prepared amazing substitutes for both him and my dad while still making the experience feel complete for everyone. My mom and I were still able to enjoy the original dishes, and it never felt like anyone was missing out. This is one of those places I'll always recommend to friends. It's definitely on the pricier side, but for the quality of the food, service, and overall experience, I genuinely think it's worth it.

A friend and I made it in for happy hour where we ordered the chicken karaage, truffle fries, blue crab hand roll and lychee martinis. The previous times I've been, I sat at the bar and had some of the most knowledgeable and attentive bartenders ever. We sat at a table this time and our server was not as attentive but I do like that each time a dish is delivered the server describes it to you. The charred lemon broccolini is divine but this go round I got a hand full of broccoli stalks for like $9. Still delicious but it was just a taste. The karaage is delicious. Crispy chicken thigh with a sweet glaze hit the spot. The truffle fries are probably some of the best I've ever had. They're a thicker fry so the truffle oil really permeates the tender fries. The blue crab tobiko is delicious as well. This time it had a charred shishito pepper inside which added a nice smoky spice. You cannot go wrong with the lychee martini. I always enjoy Uchiko and their uniquely delicious dishes.
