This is a really cute place to catch up with friends, have a small meeting, or to go and work . It is very spacious, the servers were delightful, and food and coffee were great! The vegan option that I noticed on the menu was the dip plate with hummus, muhamarra, and babaganoush. It came with regular toast, and I think it would be great with pita, but it was tasty and fresh. Coffee was great- would love a non-dairy milk option like oatmilk, but they did have lots of flavors of dairy creamers.

A hidden gem for brunch lovers Aroma Breakfast and Lunch Cafe in the Collin Creek area is such a delightful find. The space is bright, spacious, and comfortable, with plenty of seating and a genuinely pleasant - if strip mall - atmosphere. The staff is warm and friendly, which immediately makes you want to linger. There is even a "secret" beverage menu available for in-cafe customers, which adds a fun little insider touch. I tried a latte, and it was everything you want from a hot latte: smooth, comforting, and delicious. But what truly inspired me to write this review was the shakshuka. Oh my goodness. The shakshuka. Exquisite, perfectly cooked, and divinely spiced. I fell in love with shakshuka at the InterContinental in Manhattan and have been chasing that experience ever since. This was my fifth attempt in the North Dallas, Plano, and Frisco area, and I was starting to think I would never find one that lived up to that memory. Then I hit pay dirt. The eggs were cooked to absolute perfection: firm whites and yolks in that magical sweet spot between runny and just set. Every bite was rich, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. If you love brunch or are on a quest for great shakshuka, Aroma is absolutely worth a visit. I will definitely be back.

Amazing food and great service! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. Definitely a great spot for breakfast--highly recommend and will be coming back again.

Ad that made us want to go

A new restaurant opened where Soup & Salad used to be behind Chipotle off 75. It's called Aroma Breakfast & Lunch. I could not find a page for the on the app. We were so excited to try and support this new family owned business today. We've been in the neighborhood more than 25 years. When we arrived for brunch around 10 am. They had a pretty full house but no wait. The remodel was beautiful and the chairs looked comfortable. Nevertheless, we stood by the doors for more than 7 minutes with at least 3 of waitstaff staring and making eye contact from the back counter. Still no one greeted or acknowledged us. Finally, a few minutes later we were sat. It's been more than 10 minutes total and no water or coffee offered. We were given menus and never saw a server again. Another two top came in after us, was sat and received drinks but still not us. No one had even walked by so that we could be like hey can we get some coffee. The table of four got up to leave and still no one came to the table. 17 minutes in I looked at my husband and said let's go. We were completely ignored. I do not want to say it was a race issue but it certainly felt that way. Needless to say, we will not be going back or recommending Aroma. #aromabreakfastlunchplano

    Mediterranean platter

Loved this place! Aroma is going to be our new go to brunch place! The selection was great with traditional American to Mediterranean breakfast. My vegan friend had no problem finding something on the menu and the servers were so friendly and accommodating. We'd been looking for a good family owner brunch spot and this hit the spot! It was so convenient to get to from all over as it's right off 75 near George Bush! It was so quiet while we were there I will be disappointed when it gets busy, but the restaurant definitely deserves it. Oh and the chairs were so comfortable! Normally I'm a booth person but these chairs were great! Clean and classy place!

Just moved to Plano and am looking for new breakfast spots. Aroma was great! The food was delicious. Decided to add it to our list of breakfast spots.

Husband ordered their beef plate with rice and salad for $14.99. Both plates came with a huge pita bread. Portion sizes were huge! I really liked their pita bread. It was really good and chewy. Only downside is their meat. They give you a lot, but the chicken was dry and overcooked. They also slice the meat really small, so I wasn't a fan of that. Beef was cooked well, but wasn't a fan of the small slices of meat. They don't have water, only bottled water in the fridge. They do have a hot water dispenser though. Friday night around 7, not busy at all. Overall, it wasn't bad. I would be fine with just an order of their pita bread with hummus.

I visited this restaraunt for the first time and genuinely enjoyed everything I ordered. Starting off with appetizers, my friend and I ordered the pan shared halloumi cheese. This is paired with tomatoes and fig jam and is a wonderful accompaniment to the complimentary bread and olives served for the table. I'm a big fan of halloumi in general but this one was particularly cooked well and a must order for next time. For main entree I ordered Hunkar Begendi, which is sautéed marinated lamb tenderloin with red and green bell peppers over creamy eggplant puree. The lamb was in fact tender and perfectly seasoned and the eggplant puree went very well with the slight gaminess of the meat. I enjoyed this dish overall and it didn't feel too heavy, which sometimes is the case when I eat lamb. The pieces of meat were cut small enough while not being super tough, which I appreciated. I would definitely recommend this restaraunt if you enjoy trying Mediterranean fusion spots!

Given it was 12:30pm we were happy to see this place was quite full but still had a table for the 2 of us inside. There is a terrace which might be an option for our next visit. Yea you read that right, we will definitely be back. For lunch we ordered the octopus appetizer which was nice a tender, perfectly grilled and simply served with the most perfect vinaigrette. Nothing more than a little squeeze of lemon over it and you could have brought me a dozen more. But we had to save room for our mains. I chose the gyros salad and my wife the baked haddock with Greek potatoes and string beans. Both dishes were perfect. Not too fancy and just what the doctor ordered. Overheard several tables around us that they were repeat customers so we must have stumbled on to something good. So if you are thinking Greek, check this place out. You won't be disappointed

The main dish just wasn't my favorite, but it wasn't because it wasn't well made, it was more of a texture preference for me. The potatoes were a little overcooked for my liking, although a friend at our table said his were great. I did, however, love the gigantes! Our table also shared the Trio of Dips (tirokafteri, hummus, and skordalia), the moussaka, the Brazilian steak, and the Aegean stuffed pepper. The tirokafteri and hummus were both delicious. The skordalia wasn't for me, but that's simply because it's essentially a chilled potato dip, not a reflection of the restaurant. The Brazilian steak was fantastic, great flavor and cooked perfectly. The stuffed pepper and moussaka also got a thumbs-up from our group. I believe our server's name was Uli, and he was good. He took the time to explain several dishes. Greek food probably isn't at the top of my personal favorites list, but this one was ok.
