    Country Benedict and pancakes
    Ryan M.

I have never not had to wait to be seated when visiting any OHOP location. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Classic diner feel inside but what really shines is the food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their pancakes are absolutely next level. Not sure what they put in that batter but it's incredible. I love the Country Benedict as well.

I haven't been here in about 30 years. In the area for other reasons, hunger hits and I spot... The Original Pancake House I swing in,order the basic breakfast and I'm happy. For less than $13, I had a good breakfast. Nothing to write home about but, good. They have an extensive menu with some specialty items I would try next time. Like the Dutch Baby or Apple pancake. Give them a try

Cinnamon roll pancakes and summer berry crepes. Plenty of coffee and some crispy thick bacon on the side.

So my lady and I wanted a nice place for brunch after church Sunday morning. This place did not disappoint. Greeted with smiles even though it was really busy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Comfortable clean atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Waitress was very nice and very attentive to us. The best part was the warm decedent cinnamon roll pancakes for her and some summer berry crepes for me with some crunchy thick bacon with plenty of rich bold coffee. I have been here before & will not be shy about returning. Thank you

The corned beef hash is very good. The bacon was very good too. It was thick and not too salty. The pancakes were okay. I like that the price is affordable. Coffee is good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Place has an "oldish" vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was excellent. Food came out fast and it was hot. Our server, Beverly is so sweet and she was very efficient. Thank you!

My first time going here but wanted a quick breakfast and overall I was not disappointed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is usually crowded on weekends but during the week it wasn't bad.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was just by myself this trip so was sat right away. My server greeted me quickly and took my drink order. She was also attentive throughout my time there. Since I was my first time I asked her what's one of the best things on the menu and she recommend the apple pancake. Now in my head I was thinking a normal pancake with some fried apples on top. I was wrong. She told me it would take about 25 minutes to prepare so I knew I was for something. After about the 25 minutes later I see my server coming back with this mound of apples baked into a this bread like bowl with brown sugar and steam rising like the Statue of Liberty in the night sky. I was immediately invested in this journey I was about to undertake. I cut into it and take my first bite and I am taken on a taste explosion of cinnamon, apples, and brown sugar. I don't know how to describe the "pancake." It tastes like a soufflé and pancake mixed together so has a kind of "eggy" taste to it. It's thinner than a pancake for sure. The cooks slightly crisped the outside (don't know if that's common) so added a slight charred taste to it. Overall I was impressed with it. It was massive so it's definitely one that can be easily shared with another person. This was definitely a good place for some nice eats. I will definitely be going back to try some more items and hope that others do too!

First time here. Went here with my kids for breakfast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Simple breakfast restaurant, many good options for whole family, nothing real special.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Omgggggggg! Pancake house never disappoints! Yesterday I went here and had my usual, the corned beef hash and pancakes. The hash was so fresh and perfectly seasoned. The pancakes were so fluffy and literally melt in your mouth! It felt like I was eating nothing when I ate the pancakes, which is very dangerous because I could eat so many! I cannot wait to return and have my favorite again.

    Mushroom and Spinach Omelette

We had our late brunch here we ordered Western and Spinach/Mushroom Omelettes. Also, a short stack of Pancakes. They're delicious. Serving staff was so patient waiting for us to finish, we're the only customers since they're closing at 3pm. Well lighted and decorated restaurant.

Started coming here for breakfast since we moved here. Love that they are fast and efficient and the wait is never long however, we always come before 9a. We ordered the omelette, duct baby pancakes, and blueberry waffles. The omelette is not pretty looking but its is good. You can get 2-3 servings from this omelette. My husband loves the Dutch baby pancakes. It's soft and custardy in the center. It is his new favorite breakfast item. The blueberry waffle is delicious. The waffle is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside filled with blueberries. It also comes with a blueberry compote that is not too sweet. My only complaint is the add on of eggs and bacon is $12 alone. However, the other price as pretty good. 100% recommend. This is our go-to breakfast spot if we want to be in and out. Some of the booths up front is really tight, can barely get in, even as a smaller person.

    spicy Breakfast Quesadilla

I went to get brunch and got the spicy quesadillas. I brought my leftovers home and found a wire in the food :/ the food was okay and the service is good but this is disappointing and unsafe to eat.

    Mold growing on vent.

We dropped in on a Sunday with one very important mission: splurge on dessert lol. FYI.. If you haven't tried Haywire's Chipolte Chocolate Cake, Whiskey Bread Pudding or their famous Pecan Pie, you're missing out. No lie! There was one big problem. They were completely booked. Inside was full. Outside patios and bar area -- all full. Apparently everyone had Sunday plans to eat at Haywire. Yes, its that great. But instead of turning us away, management thought outside the box and put us in a tent. That's what I call real customer service! This was a new exciting experience for all of us. Third floor rooftop area, seated us in one of Haywire's private canvas tents. These are not camping tents, think Texas glamping lol. Private dining space. Climate controlled. Cozy, and had the ability to close for privacy. The tents can accommodate up to six people. They can be reserved for 2 1/2 hours with a $150 food-and-beverage minimum, rather than a separate rental fee. See my pics. What started as a quick stop for desserts turned into a little adventure and one of our more memorable visits. Thank you Haywire, we appreciate everything you do to make life relaxing for regular folks like us.

Things didn't go as smoothly as I hoped for her first visit, but management apologized and tried to make up for it. I appreciated the effort on their part and opportunity to give my feedback. The Russian/Thousand Island dressing is so good. (4 STARS for the appetizer only) Pasta the presentation was great. However, today someone in the kitchen was heavy handed on the seasoning and it was super salty. The taste was not good. Seeing that I have had it multiple times I won't criticize it as much and chalk it up as a one off. Drinks: The Frosé is so refreshing. It's a cold slushie perfect for a warm summer day. Music was loud enough to where I could hear my husband across the table but not anyone else around me. We could still hear the comforting sound of the fountain and fans that blew a cooling mist too! We ordered the pretzel bites as an appetizer and it came out in literally 60 seconds. Bread didn't taste like pretzels, but it was tasty and the sauces yummy. Like, I could order the bites and some beers and be perfectly content. But I was here for the fish n chips and I was so happy! I'd have preferred a full filet of fish, but the batter was so crispy and salty (I love salt!). Fries were okay and basic but not bad with malt vinegar (I can literally drink that stuff!). Husband got the elite brisket flatbread. It was huge and honestly we'll probably just split this next time we come. It was delicious and back of the throat spicy, but the toppings were outstanding and brisket was tender!! Service was soooo quick and easy and the waitress has the decency to look away as you tip. We ordered the Boss Hog flatbread, chips and queso, and two margaritas the Skinny Bear on the rocks and the Caddy frozen margarita. We definitely enjoyed the happy hour discounts, which made the visit even better. We started with our drinks, and both margaritas were mixed very well. The Skinny Bear did seem a little stronger, but both had great flavor and were easy to enjoy. For appetizers, we ordered the chips and queso. The chips were thin, crispy, and had a nice dash of seasoning on them, but we do wish they had been served hot. The queso was warm, but not piping hot, and the texture was a little gritty, almost powder-like. We were expecting a creamier cheese, so it was good, but not our favorite part of the meal. Now, the star of the show was definitely the Boss Hog flatbread. It was cooked to perfection, baked really well, and had that nice crispy texture. The toppings were generous, and every bite had great flavor. I would absolutely order it again. The ambiance was also amazing. We loved being able to see the brewery, and the dim lighting set a cool, relaxed tone. The employees were nice, friendly, and welcoming, which added to the overall experience. I would definitely come back to try more menu items, and I recommend Union Bear for a cute date night, happy hour, or a laid back evening with good drinks and food.

One day he looked at me and said, "You know what would make me feel better? Let's get a bruschetta at Sixty Vines." Hard to argue with that kind of therapy. I remember when Sixty Vines first opened on the Tollway. The whole wine-on-tap concept and that impressive draft wine cooler were some of the hottest tickets in town. It reminded me of years earlier when cold sake on draft at The Blue Fish on Frankford was something everyone seemed to be talking about. There is always that one new idea that suddenly makes going out feel a little more interesting. For whatever reason, I've only been to Sixty Vines a handful of times over the years. Not because I didn't enjoy it -- it just never became part of my regular rotation. Now my son is changing that. There's something pretty cool about watching a place you remember as new and trendy become a favorite of the next generation. Apparently Sixty Vines still has it. And according to my son, when life isn't going quite right, a good bruschetta there can make things a little better. I'm glad the new generation is giving them some well-deserved recognition. We fully understood that we were early and were told that we had been checked in and that our table would be ready closer to our reservation time. We had absolutely no issue with that. While waiting, we found an area near the bar and ordered appetizers and drinks, spending close to $300 before we were ever seated for dinner. At approximately 8:20 p.m., after our reservation time had passed and we had received no update, we approached the host stand to make sure they knew we were still waiting. We were told that they were waiting for seats to become available and that we would be seated soon. At 8:30 p.m., we were still waiting. When we approached the host stand again, the response was noticeably less courteous. We were told that they could not ask people to leave their tables and that we would be seated when they could accommodate us. At some point during this exchange, we were also told that once we were eventually seated, they would provide us with complimentary appetizers. I want to be very clear: this was never about receiving free food or having something taken off our bill. We had already spent close to $300 on drinks and appetizers while waiting. I neither wanted nor needed complimentary appetizers. What I wanted was for our reservation to be honored within a reasonable amount of time--or, at the very least, for someone to communicate honestly with us, acknowledge the problem, and treat our family with respect. Offering free appetizers did nothing to address the actual issue. By approximately 8:35 p.m.--20 minutes after our reservation time and nearly 50 minutes after we initially checked in--it was apparent that there was no urgency to seat us and, more importantly, no meaningful communication about when we could expect to be seated. At that point, General Manager Landry became involved. Unfortunately, rather than attempting to de-escalate the situation or offer any reasonable solution, his attitude made an already frustrating situation substantially worse. When I reminded him that we had an 8:15 reservation and asked when we could realistically expect to be seated, he again told us that we would be seated when they could seat us. I explained that our party included a pregnant mother-to-be who had not eaten and was beginning to feel unwell, as well as a young child. There was no apparent concern or effort to accommodate the situation. When I pressed him for a more specific timeframe, Landry responded that "it's just a reservation." That statement was astonishing to me. A reservation is a commitment made between a restaurant and its customer. I certainly understand that restaurants run behind and that unexpected circumstances occur. What I do not understand is a General Manager dismissing a customer's reservation as though it carries no significance whatsoever. I asked Landry what Sixty Vines' policy would be if I had arrived 30 minutes late for my reservation. Instead of addressing the obvious point behind the question, he accused me of being "aggressive" and informed me that, if he wanted to, he could simply ask our party to leave. That response was completely inappropriate. Rather than acknowledging that his restaurant had failed to honor our reservation, apologizing for the delay, or attempting to find a solution, the General Manager chose to threaten to remove a family that had been patiently waiting and had already spent nearly $300 at the restaurant. A few minutes later, Landry walked past our group and visibly shook his head at us. It was dismissive, disrespectful, and entirely unbecoming of someone entrusted with managing a restaurant and representing the Sixty Vines brand. Ironically, the person who demonstrated the most professionalism and empathy that evening was the young server who had been taking care of us near the bar. She observed what was happening, approached us on her own, apologized for the situation, and asked whether there was anything she could do to help. Her response stood in stark contrast to that of the General Manager. By this point, we had closed our tab. The pregnant member of our party had become so unwell while we waited that she actually vomited. We informed Landry of what had happened, and again there appeared to be little concern. His primary focus remained his assertion that we had "yelled" at him. To be clear, customers who have waited well beyond their reservation time, received virtually no meaningful communication, and then been told by the General Manager that "it's just a reservation" are understandably going to become frustrated. A capable General Manager should know how to manage that frustration professionally rather than escalating the situation and threatening to remove the customers. Ultimately, we left without ever having the birthday dinner.

The space is large, with plenty of lanes available. The staff is extremely friendly and check in often. Food/Drinks: They offer a solid menu with entrées and appetizers. There are bottled and draft beer options. There is also ample seating throughout the space if you want to sit down and enjoy your food or drinks. Fowling: The game itself is really fun and easy to learn. It's a simple concept but very entertaining, and it was only $15 per person. There are also many TVs around, so you can watch while you play. Other Activities: In addition to fowling, there are free games available such as cornhole, giant Jenga/connect 4, and a large Tetris game. There are also several arcade-style games you can play for an additional cost, generally ranging from $1 to $4.

We ordered a variety of the flatbread pizzas and a variety of the sliders. Everything was really good. No one in the group had done this before so it was the first time for all. A member of the staff reviewed the rules with us....and she was making it sound really complex. But basically you take turns hurling the football at the pins on the other side. Knock down all your opponents pins and you win. Everyone really enjoyed it. It's definitely a spot I would take a large group. Overall my team and I had a blast and would definitely come back when we are in town.

The atmosphere was casual and up beat. All the burgers and loaded fries were cooked to perfection. One of our friends had the Bloody Mary and she seemed to enjoy it. I overheard the group say more than once. That whoever recommended this place did a good job. Overall very pleasant experience. I'd definitely eat here again.

My family and I decided to go to Rodeo Goat for lunch. We walked in, were politely greeted, and…read moretold to sit wherever we wanted. There was plenty of seating at the restaurant with long tables, sit down tables, and outdoor seating. After choosing our table we waited 15 minutes before our waitresses showed up. They were very busy with the lunch rush so it took awhile between everything. It even took awhile to get our waters. One waitress was in training and learning from the other. The positive was that the waitresses were friendly throughout. After looking at the menu and waiting another 15 minutes we finally placed our order. We got our appetizer after waiting another 15 minutes. Thankfully that held us over until we got our burgers and fries. We started with tostada chips and queso. It was good and we ate it up pretty quickly. We requested another basket of chips to finish off the queso. To eat with our burgers we ordered hand punched fries and sweet potato fries. The hand cut fries were nice and thick and you could taste the salt. I enjoyed eating them with ketchup. The sweet potato fries were also thick and salty and you could taste the flavor of the potato. No need for ketchup with these fries unless you want it. For my burger I ordered the HL Hunt cooked medium which comes with white cheese, bacon, blackberry compote and mustard. The burger was filling, the cheese was melted but it had little flavor, and the bacon was chewy. The compote was my favorite part of the burger as it added a slightly sweet flavor. I requested a medium cooked burger but it didn't taste that way but it was still good despite that. Overall Rodeo Goat has lots of seating and friendly staff but I would go at an off peak time so that you don't have to wait a long time for everything. The food was still good despite the wait.
