This restaurant has a Family Friendly ambiance but is quiet enough to easily have a conversation because of the layout of the booths. My husband and I ate here after church on Sunday, 5/24. I had the Chicken Apple Pecan Salad (requested tomatoes to be added and substituted ranch dressing for the fat-free raspberry vinaigrette. It was very good! I also had a hot chocolate with almond milk = nice and sweet! My husband had the Chicken Fried Steak, hash browns, eggs, and pancakes. That was a LOT of food, so he boxed up a good portion of it. Amy was a good server. I took a star away because the salad did not have the cranberries and candied pecans as advertised - unfortunately. So many great options and lots of yummy food. The sausage Pattie's were a little dry for our liking, but everything else was incredible. My husband got the breakfast omelette and the potatoes O'Brien with orange juice to drink. I had the S&M combo with tres leches French toast, over medium eggs, bacon, and sausage. Met herewith a group of friends that have breakfast monthly and I've been to Eggsquisite several times have never reviewed it. Eggsquisite is a bright, cheery place and service is fast and friendly. I'm attempting to eat healthier so I went with the Ironman scrambler without toast. The eggs (with spinach, tomatoes and mushrooms) were perfectly cooked and the side of berries was quite tasty. Service was top notch and we never felt rushed. Lots of variety on the menu and if I wasn't trying to be good would definitely order some waffles or pancakes. Found this stellar breakfast place during a recent trip to Dallas. Located in a plaza off one of the main drags is this incredible place. We wanted a good breakfast and this filled our desires and then some. Place is beautiful inside, spacious and full of great wall decor. For our meals we got the country fried steak with eggs and hashbrowns and toast while my buddy got the same but bacon instead of the steak. Steak was delicious as was the gravy, was scooping every last drop up with every bite. Bacon was crispy and the eggs were perfect. Service was attentive and very friendly, they run a tight ship here. The service here is amazing! Our server Adan was so nice and helpful. The standout dish here for me is the spicy chicken n biscuit. It has sausage gravy and it wasn't heavy like most are. I found the chicken to be cooked well and even though it wasn't spicy white meat it was pretty moist. The spicy honey on it makes the dish and the combination of the chicken, biscuit, gravy and runny egg (or however you like it) makes it a delectable bite. The huevos rancheros was good too and the salsa that comes with it is freshly made and probably the star! The pancake side was alright I don't think it stands out that much where pancakes are concerned and we made a mistake eating it at the end so it got pretty chewy but it feels chewier than normal. Given it was a Sunday (@ noon), we expected things to be slow. Welp, our wait for a table was less than 15 minutes! Awesome. BUT, that's the only positive thing to say. Waiter-he seemed checked-out, and was simply slow as heck on many levels. He definitely avoided us once he realized we were not happy with no coffee refills, OR the syrup wasn't at the table before eating our pancakes, OR not checking in to ensure everything was fine.... Food preparation-it took FOREVER to receive our food! We observed others waiting impatiently as well, maybe they're just slow in general??? When it FINALLY did arrive, our eggs were cold, the bacon was "rubbery" and it didn't taste right... Well, something was definitely wrong with the bacon, because my stomach was killing me when we got home and I was in my 'other office' for the remainder of the day/evening.... Our family was in town for a wedding. Before driving back to Houston, we wanted to grab brunch around 10:30 am. We needed a table of 12 & there were a lot of people waiting but the wait was only about 20 min. It is located in a complex so there is a large parking lot. The waiter was great, patient and accommodating! He was very friendly from beginning to end. We ordered a variety of entrees such as the smoked salmon (subbed with croissant & no hollandaise), avocado toast, combo, kids breakfast with a side of avocado, spicy Cajun chicken & waffles & Mickey Mouse pancakes. Everyone including the kids enjoyed their meal for the most part. The chicken sausage was on the sweet side for me. The smoked salmon was very good with the croissant for me. There was a little mix up with the order but I always expect that with such a big group and it didn't affect our overall enjoyable experience. I really appreciated the substitutions since half the family could not have pork. The dining area was efficiently organized and well lit. There are only 2 bathrooms so sometimes there was a little line to use it. I would recommend this place for brunch. read more

Had been there before but this was a disaster! Wife's food came reasonably quickly but mine did not come. In a few minutes a person brought two pancakes to me with no syrup. I waited and when nothing else came I flagged our waiter and he went to check and came back and told me something had happened to my order-would I like to reorder? Since my wife was well into her food, I declined and proceeded to eat the pancakes using my wife's syrup. In a while the manager came to ask how things were and i told him. He encouraged me to reorder but I declined because now my wife was well into her food. He persisted and i said no. I ate most of the two pancakes, asked for the bill which charged $4 for the pancakes-fair I guess? At checkout I told the manager i felt the waiter dropped the ball and should be talked to about his service. Wow, what an amazing place. I came here through quick Google/Yelp search because I was visiting a family friend and so glad I came! It is such a cute cafe that is surprisingly spacious (but the vibe is more of a diner than a cafe so I do not recommend studying or doing work for long periods of time in it). Plenty of parking outside. Very affordable, the food is so tasty and the portions are HUGE. I asked for a salad as one of my sides and got a huge plate - almost thought it was an entree for a second. The staff are also super nice, efficient, good at answering all questions, and genuinely seem like they want to be there! They also have their own shirt designs that is so cute. Eggsquisite Cafe is great! I've been to this location and the Frisco one, and they are both excellent. The prices are super reasonable, portions are large, and service is great. They are very personable, helpful, and add to the overall brunch experience. I'm not the biggest breakfast/brunch person in the world, so I don't frequent breakfast places, but this stands out at the top of my list as the best in DFW! I love the avocado toast with soft scrambled eggs with cheese (so good) and a side of hashbrowns. Their fresh OJ is amazing as well. The restaurant itself has a lot of parking, it is spacious and clean, and is well decorated. The menu is adorable and readable. I highly recommend this place for everyone! They even have a lunch menu for those that don't love traditional breakfast food! Will be returning soon. read more

Errybody loves Eggsquisite. It is an Allen staple. It is my oldest's favorite place in all DFW. It only has 4 out of 5 stars for lack of vegan and veg options. (Oatmeal doesn't count.) Of the carnivores options they are fabulous. On this most recent visit we tried many plates including spicy chicken biscuit and mm it is creative with some sweet hot honey and gravy and that gorgeous egg. Service is kind and attentive if not willing to get the right answer. For example we asked what roaster provides the coffee and she said oh its the coffee on the side of the cup which is not accurate. You pay at the counter which is nice to get up and move while your full belly is attempting to digest all that food. The Yelp page indicates outdoor seating which is inaccurate. It is indoor, and usually very busy. Highly recommended! read more

Arrived for a late breakfast with friends from Arkansas. They were so impressed with the delicious food and are very delightful and friendly server, Pam. We all just started breakfast was an order along with a waffle on the side. And when ordering gave Pam free reign as to how that should be. It came out with delicious Nutella strawberries, and whipped cream. It looked so awesome, we didn't want to eat it! We have been lucky to try several locations. All of the food is the same across the board. The standards of cooking from these establishments are 5 top notch We love Eggsquisite in Rockwall, and we are frequent fliers there for breakfast. I had to wait to be seated for almost 10 min with 4 waiters on their phones, and one girl trying to check out 4 people and do a Togo order. The eggs were cooked on a skillet that was so hot, the whole one side of the eggs were grizzled and hard to cut. I had to add pepper and salt because it had zero flavor. I was charged extra for "OBrien Potatoes" which consisted of cooked onions and peppers. They arrived with no vegetables, they were dry, and when I asked, then brought it back in less than 2 min with some finely diced peppers and onions that had barely been cooked thrown on top. Grits were gross due to pure blandness. The chicken friend chicken is suppose to be a "favorite" and the gravy is clearly not made in house, had no flavor, and it's hard to screw up a fried piece of chicken... The bathrooms were messy, and had printed signs half peeling off, about flushing random stuff down them, which is always a sign of a restaurant headed down hill. It's surprising the reviews are so high, but perhaps it's regulars that are okay with below average food and friendly staff. A casual and cute little breakfast spot in Allen! You get sat pretty quickly and their service is great. The food comes out exceptionally fast, which is nice if you're really hungry or in a rush. My favorite by far is their sweets section - from the crepes to the waffles. Their coffee is also bomb. They sell coffee bags and pods of their delicious coffee choice.
