Bar seating!

A nice airy and well lit restaurant with a great ambience that worked well for us! Le Anne got us seated quickly and then proceed to wait on us . She was very friendly and courteous and paid complete attention to our needs . We ordered coffee , Maple Bacon Croissant Sandwich and Frittata Rustica. The coffee was excellent and both the dishes were made fresh and from farm fresh ingredients ! We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and will definitely come back for another round!

Got there around 9am and waited about 20 minutes for a table -- not bad for a Saturday morning! Parking is easy and plenty. The server was friendly and our food came out pretty quickly. I had the Farmhouse Skillet, which was a good portion and really tasty. My daughter had the sourdough grilled cheese and said it was delicious, and my husband got the French toast, which came with a mixed berry jam that was sooo good. Only downside was that we needed a water refill that never came but otherwise everything was good!

First Watch is a great spot for breakfast or brunch and it's kid-friendly too. Our kids like the kid's menu options, we like the fresh and healthy options and the drinks too. I do agree with others, the WaitList is a joke. As others have said they don't actually add you to the list until you check in and there is seating for maybe 4 people inside otherwise you're outside standing around. My go-to is the Power Bowl - Power Breakfast Quinoa Bowl, it is so hearty and filling and the ingredients go so well together! Others I have tried and liked are the Farm Stand Breakfast Tacos, The Power Wrap and the Traditional Breakfast. My husband really enjoys the new SoCal Breakfast Hash and they used to have a breakfast croissant sandwich that was his go-to.

The most delicious, fresh, handcrafted drinks you will ever have.

Do yourself a favor and RUN to First Watch!! It was my first time at any of their locations and I'm so glad this was my first experience!! The staff was incredibly friendly, quick, and knowledgeable. They were so accommodating as well, despite the fact that there were hundreds and hundreds of us (there was an event at the Event Center). This place is beautiful and SO CLEAN! I was impressed by how neat and clean everything was, knowing this has to be one of the busiest locations being that it's next to the Event Center. Now the food... y'all the FOOD. 100/10. So so good, delicious, seasoned, purposeful!! Easily one of the best cheese grits I've ever had. The seasonal menu is so charming! Can't wait to find a First Watch close to me!!

Don't let the pictures fool you. It looked way better than it tasted. We typically love First Watch. It's one of our favorite breakfast places. But today, it was definitely lacking. The food came out cold, if it came out at all. We ordered the donut holes and the sweet waitress must've forgotten to put the order in because we had to remind her. The potatoes were cold. The chikichanga was cold. The eggs were cold. Thankfully, the drinks were also cold, as they should be. It took a while to get served and for the food to come out. It's a Monday morning, not very busy. We'll probably stick to the Plano location even though the Allen location is literal minutes from our home.

Very different in appearance from my neighborhood First Watch in Austin, but wonderful menu - and cocktail service! I needed a 30-minute turnaround, so I seated myself at the bar and mentioned my time constraints. The man behind the bar today - I wish I had asked his name - was FANTASTIC! What hustle! Never wasted a step, presented my check immediately so I wouldn't need to wait on him, delivered my food still piping hot. I love First Watch because they know how to dress greens and their menus are varied and distinctive, but WOW! The service today just knocked it out of the park. Loved it!

Breakfast tacos and blueberries

I came to First Watch this morning and ordered breakfast tacos with blueberries instead of black beans. When my meal came out, it came out with the blueberries they use for the pancakes, not the fresh ones the ones that come out of a bag that are frozen. When I mentioned it, they said those are the only berries we have this is the only First Watch I've ever been to that doesn't have fresh blueberries. They really didn't have them. Not one to usually complain about things, but I frequent First Watch 3 to 4 times a week Please address this FW I know your growing big time!! I love your restaurant

(Ryan Reynolds voiceover) The vibe is place for breakfast in Allen! Junior warmly served us! We ordered the Farmhouse Skillet. Hearty! Extra crunchy as ordered! Sooo good! Bacado. Fabulous! Pesto Chicken Quinoa. Healthy and tasty! Morning Meditation. OJ w/ beets and a dash of turmeric! Ohmmmmmm. Juan, the GM, even stopped by to make sure our meal was fantastic! Would order everything again! Thanks, Junior and Juan! Woohoo!

My new favorite breakfast and brunch location. Great healthier options. Hoping they can add vegan in the future but I can work with this menu for now. Seriously in love. From the look and feel, to the service, and the gorgeous plates even. This trendy new breakfast offers elevated menu selections and I am in love. The Morning Meditation juice is my jam. The toast even- I could just come in and eat the toast. For real, I am in love with the potatoes. They are not potatoes from a bag in the freezer (at least I don't think so). They taste fresh and amazing. We all loved our breakfast experience and cannot wait to cone back and try other offerings. Of note: the ticket comes with each diner completely separated as well as totaled so each diner can either pay individually or as a whole and completely calculate their contribution. Great thoughtful ticketing.

This place was conveniently located next to the Courtyard hotel in Allen. We were definitely not disappointed by the service and food. There was even a staff member that opened the door for us. The ambience has a clean fresh look and feel. The food was really good, fresh and perfect amount for what we were looking for. The service is kind and attentive.

Grand opening day! Service was ok at 7:45am. Not sure if everyone knows it's open yet though. It used to be the old Paradise Bakery, but they did such a good job renovating, that the ambience feels so bright and farmhouse looking. We received a free pot of Project Sunrise coffee to start the morning with. It's complimentary all week for grand opening. Your table is equipped with both flavored creamer and sugar. We ordered the salmon frittata and the classic eggs Benedict. The Benedict was soo yummy and creamy. I received 2 perfectly poached eggs. Both dishes came with a good helping of greens, which I appreciated. We cleaned off both of our plates. There were tons of people around who asked how the food was. Everyone was smiling from ear to ear. Our waiter however seemed a bit rushed though for some reason. It wasn't busy at all and he handed us our check already mid eating. That part is annoying when it's clearly not necessary. There was no small talk or getting to know the customer, but whatever...the food was great. We will be back again for another early morning date post school drop off. They were also handing out nice coffee tumblers at the checkout. I think it's just for the first 100 customers.

Carne Asada Hash

"Good morning," I yell from the couch of a Dallas Airbnb. My stomach growls, begging to be pleased…read more I went to meet my brother and sister-in-law for breakfast, and they recommended Sunview Cafe. Located in a never-ending strip mall in Allen, we walked in and got our name on the list. It was 11:30 am, so the early church crowd was coming in alongside us. We were told it would be about 30 minutes, but it ended up only being about 10. Inside, Sunview is loaded with Texas décor all over the walls. It feels pretty small, but they definitely take advantage of every corner of the space for seating with their booths and tables. The prices are pretty fair for a brunch spot. One thing that definitely caught me off guard was how many things were on their double-sided menu. It felt like a legal document with how extensive it was. It is definitely overwhelming, but I locked in and ordered a Meat Lover's Omelet. It's filled with bacon, sausage, ham, and American cheese. For my sides, I got hash browns and two pancakes, which is a steal for a $14 omelet. It wasn't long before the food came out, and I crushed the omelet. It needed some salt and pepper personally, but it was pretty good and hearty, especially with the pancakes as a side. The impression from my brother and sister-in-law was that they wanted to come back here often, and I'll probably find myself returning next time I'm in Dallas. I ended up getting the quesadilla off the kid's menu. Waitress said it was made with one tortilla. I should have asked how big a tortilla. lol It was very small. Too small, imo, for even a kid's menu. More like a toddler menu. Tasted okay. Came with fruit and hashbrowns. The fruit was very good and all of it was fresh. Loved the pineapple. Hashbrowns had a bad flavor-from the grease they squirt on the griddle to cook the hashbrowns and get them crisp. It tasted old. I love hashbrowns and order them a lot when ordering breakfast. I could only take a few bites. The hubs ordered a panini. It came with potato soup. I tried the soup and it was good, but needed more flavor. Probably just needed a tad more salt. Waitress was attentive and patiently waited for us to decide what we wanted. Would probably try this place again if we are back in the area and need a bite to eat.

In Eunice G's review, she called this place a "Hidden gem in Allen!". I completely agree, and would…read moresuggest that you could also call it a gemstone mine, because it is chock full of gems. We were looking for a good taqueria in Allen and found it here. This is a cozy place with about 10+ tables, playing Mexican music videos, etc. (but not loud enough to interfere with conversation). To try things out, we ordered their grilled cebolla/jalapeño combo, and 4 tacos -pastor, chorizo, barbacoa, & lengua (see photos). These are Mexican Street taco style with 2 corn tortillas. I tried the pastor, chorizo & barbacoa - they were all excellent! Served with onion, cilantro, lime slices and radish slices. Very high quality! I would be happy to eat any of them again, but would probably quadruple down on the pastor because it was just great (and I am a pastor fan - I am still in search of the El Tizoncito style al pastor tacos that you can find in DF, but until I do, these will keep me happy). While I can eat lengua (if I can't find pastor), but my wife is a connoisseur and she liked them (and messaged a friend about them). The Cebolla asados with jalapeños were amazing and an incredible value at ~ $2. We had no chance to try La Sirena (paleteria y fruteria), but it looked very promising. We will be back to try their breakfast offerings. We feel quite fortunate to have found this place.
