Look. Just get the shakshuka here. It's freaking delicious and by far the best thing on the menu. Service was great and price points are fair. Parking is a nightmare.

Previously this restaurant was really disappointing, but I tried it again and it was excellent. Food quality has increased by A LOT. Service was also better especially considering they were about to close. Food is great and so is the espresso. BLTA-no Avo & Cortado

Breakfast location that has a service with robot experience. Everyone knows this breakfast place in down town

First time here. Came with my bf for a nice brunch, we sat outside, nice patio area. Food was exceptional, but our server was amazing, wish I remembered her name!! Worth trying at least once

Great mom and pop feeling restaurant! Our waiter was attentive and kind. The food was good and the coffee was great! We had an overall good time! They also accommodated us with space for a stroller!

Little cafe with big flavor. My family stopped in for a quick breakfast. My husband ordered the steak and eggs (no picture). While my daughter and I split the Belgian waffles. If you have a sweet tooth for breakfast things, I would recommend trying. You don't even need to use syrup the sugared waffle and fruit complimented each other perfectly. My daughter was also happy to enjoy a decaf latte. Also, never seen a place where a robot delivers your food. Would eat here again if ever back in town.

Super cool. And the menu says VEGAN hash. Not much protein but it rocked. Maybe add Tofu then that would top it off Biggley. Make it crazy with vegan cheese put it under the broiler make it almost a nacho thing and charge double. Non vegans will have FOMO and want to check it out and will come. Then the idiots that say it is too much - cut it in half and charge half. Thanks for being here. Courtney rocked it with good service.

Superfast service, topped only by the speed of the cooks! Wow! Even better, the food quality is superb! My 'Corned Beef Hash & Eggs' was hearty and tasty, and my wife loved the 'Breakfast Tacos.' The Mocha Espresso was better than Starbucks. Five Stars all day long!!

Rob or Robert which ever he prefers that day, was a fantastic server! He was very attentive, personable, and made sure our table was taken care of from start to finish. Our drinks stayed full, the food came out smoothly, and he had such a great attitude the entire time. Service like that really makes a difference--highly recommend asking for Rob!

Food service and ambiance is great! The food is so good that they are always busy and have a wait time to get inside but it makes it completely worth the wait!

What a great little spot in down town. The parking is a bot challenging but worth it! The Food was fantastic. And the service was marvelous. We enjoyed a nice breakfast sitting outside and taking in the bustle of the thriving downtown. I would definitely return. If in the area I would suggest you give it a try.

This a great place for breakfast or lunch. Very laid back atmosphere with old brick walls and includes a full bar. I ordered the monster-sized 3 egg omelet with an add-on of breakfast potatoes. All was delicious! They use a cute robot to help serve plates and service is prompt and friendly. I will definitely be back for a lunch sometime very soon!

Fantastic venue, decor and nice staff. Went for Sunday brunch and their ordered a cappuccino, mimosa (1st was $12 and each additional was $1), cornbeef hash, sweet potato bacon hash, and toast with cream cheese, strawberries and their delish freshly-made fruit compote, which was incredibly tasty. Both hashes were savory delights. Would definitely eat here again. One unique aspect was "Bella," the robot server. Our waiter explained that they use the robot because the kitchen is so far away from the seating area and the robot can carry up to twenty plates compared to a human server.

Are walk-ins welcomed or are reservations recommended? (Wondering about wait time / lines)

Walk in are welcome. Reservations recommended on Saturday's & Sunday's.

Is it possible for a walk in on Sunday mornings or a reservation must be set in place?

Since it's the weekend I would call ahead to see if you need to make a reservation before you come. I went during the weekday morning and was able to sit anywhere since it was not busy.

Oh my goodness! I am so happy to see a vegan option on the menu here! Cant wait to bring vegan friends and try it! What other vegan friendly things are available, besides the vegan hash?

Can you walk in and order a coffee to go? Or do you have to be seated? Thanks!!

Yes you can get coffee togo.

Hey! Planning on stopping by for brunch soon but I was wondering if you all offer almond milk or some kind of milk alternative for your coffee?

Yes we do, we have almond and soy milk.

Is this a good place to study?

Totally! Perfect amount of white noise, plus caffeine and delicious pastries to keep you energized.

I'm curious if you have any vegan friendly options or options that can be altered to be made vegan? Vegan = NO animal products... No milk, no butter, no meat, no cheese, no egg, no animal stock, no fish sauce, etc. THANK YOU! :)

Super patient with us, answered all of our questions, made recommendations, and very attentive. Will ask for her again. The menu was a cornucopia of drinks and eats that sound amazing. We had the pimento cheese spread, two orders of the chicken fried steak and two orders of redfish. Everything was spectacular. We can't wait to go try other items on the menu. While waiting for our table we wondered up to the 3rd floor. They had live music. The place was jumping up there. We are going to have to look up who is going to be playing and have another married date night. The only downside to the evening was unfortunately the host at the front door. He was rude and severely lacking in communication skills. If anything else had me "meh" I would have taken stars away but everything else made up for his shortcomings.

Once seated we waited nearly an hour for the food, and it arrived with one good plate, and a $55 "Wagyu" which was a small, twisted piece of sinewed, chewy meat with cold, soggy veggies and mash. Sent it back, and my wife was finished by the time the replacement came - which again, was about as 'Wag'yu as a pup's tail. They kindly removed cost of my meal, and we got anniversary desert. Nice building and staff working hard - just set your expectations accordingly.

Great experience at Union Bear Brewing Co…read more Customer service was on point. Our waitress checked on us just enough without smothering us. I'm not a fan of constant interruptions while eating, so that balance was appreciated. The place itself is awesome. Plenty of TVs, a great layout, outdoor patio, and a great bar area. Perfect hangout spot whether you're with family, friends, or just grabbing lunch solo. Prices are reasonable and competitive with similar spots. The downtown McKinney location is ideal and easy walking distance to other shops and restaurants, so no need to keep driving around. Food was great. The burger was juicy and flavorful even well done. The salmon was also well done with crispy edges and a slab of butter that melted right over it great flavor. Hoping that butter option is available for the steak because that's next on my list. Sides were solid too. Only thing I wasn't big on was the fries. They're super thin, so they were crispy but had a slightly hard, borderline stale texture. Just my opinion though. overall still a great experience. Definitely coming back. Burger and salmon were outstanding, customer service was great, and the atmosphere makes it a spot worth checking out with family or friends.

Our booth was very comfortable and easily fit our family of five. The noise level is above average, but not for a sports bar/brewery. It was just right for us. We could talk, but didn't to worry about anyone being disturbed by our kids being a little louder than normal. The menu isn't big, so I suggest perusing before arriving, especially if you have dietary restrictions or are picky. Our family settled on + Korean Shrimp Tacos (no dairy). The kitchen was super careful not to include any dairy in my tacos. They were tasty, but I didn't realize the shrimp would be fried and the slaw would be removed to accomodate my no dairy request. I would pick something else next time. + Big Tavern Burger for my husband and he loved it! Even the fries were a hit. + Big Tavern Burger with cheese and grilled onions only for one of the kids. + Plain hamburger and a single meat patty for our other two kiddos. + Hubby and I both got unsweet iced teas and the tea was brewed just right. Our waitress was wonderful, I hate that I forgot her name. She was friendly and kept our waters and iced tea full the whole time. She was never hard to find if we needed something, but gave us space to enjoy our dinner too. We will definitely be back!

The tallow fries were as good as it ever gets: crispy, soft inside, must be 2x fried. Outside square had great World Cup fan area. We watched Colombia vs Uzbekistan. We love downtown McKinney and so many establishments have that southern charm, friendly service, and just love people. We always bring in a group of paying patrons. Early on we felt there was a clickish vibe, but never thought anything about it. We make friends everywhere, since we are travelers . Last few months we noticed a shift, bartender ruder, lack of service, the regulars shifting their gaze as if something was wrong. Last night ended that for us, and I'm sure they will be thrilled. Our bonus son chose to come here for his celebratory event. We invited a variety of people we knew, local talents, professionals, and family. Hateful comments about having a few balloons and party hats and how "you BETTER clean all that UP, I'm not doing it." We were treated with disdain. No service, each person had to get our own menu when we were ready to order, , and silverware after food was served, no one took our drink orders, when we went to the bar-our tabs were closed after each drink order. The bartender, Chevon, (who is always there) was rude and ugly to our whole group and to those she didn't even know was in our group. The new DJ, (Shawn) skipped over our friend twice. Chevron (bartender) who didn't know the person she was speaking to was my sister, said "I hate that guy, all he sings is rock songs." I mean... it karaoke. And that guy she's talking about has been bringing a group of people here for over a year. So carry on the "high school drama" there are a ton of places in McKinney that are lovely and welcoming. When you are hateful to singers, doctors, nurses, business owners, and veterans... that news will travel fast. And as rude and ugly as this review is, it's not near as rude or ugly as we were treated, individually and as a group. If you are gonna be bias to people, you don't need to be serving them. It's sad, because I know Karen and what Spoons means to her and her family. I hope they clean house and start over in the back. FYI (Shawn was a really nice DJ, he was so kind to people celebrating others.) But other than that, I wouldn't recommend The Garage for any new Collin County resident, any bridal party, bachelor party, or group celebrating anything... you can DM me and I'll give you a personal list of plenty of places to go. Many of them walking distance.
