This was not one of my favorite spots. Everything we ate was simply meh. I don't think we'll be back the food was not that good. It was busy. We did sit in a booth. The restroom seems to always have a waiting line. I only wanted to each my hands, I used the men's restroom. It was clean. Looked no different than the ladies room. I suppose you can call these potties unisex! July 2024

I had the most wonderful crab eggs Benedict and my husband had traditional crêpes. The food was amazing! We both tried each other's dish and loved both dishes. I think the most important part of our visit today was the warm service we received from Krissy/Kristin., it's cold out, but from the moment we walked in the door we got a warm greeting and we're treated well by our server, who gave us the right amount of attention the entire time we were there. Now let's talk about the coffee! You don't have to go somewhere special and pay $1 million to get a wonderful warm cup of delicious coffee. I would consider myself a coffee snob. But I absolutely enjoyed Segafredo Sanetti. If you live in McKinney, check this place out.

5 stars were only because McKinley turned the bad experience into a good one. McKinley, awesome job. She definitely turned a wrong into a right. Talked a few seconds, and she brought up that she also works at another restaurant. Hardworking young lady. So let's start with we got seated within 7 min. The table was cleaned but soaked. See one person cleaning the tables. There is too much water on the rag kid. 12:30 we were seated and whomever our waitress was never came back. She kept refilling drinks and coffee. McKinley walked by at 12:46 and was nice enough to take our order on top of the other tables she was already serving. 5 stars were only because McKinley Kudos to her for realizing we hadn't been taken care of and going above and beyond. At this point, it was smooth sailing . She deserves a raise for her outstanding customer service. I hope this review lets this establishment know how valuable she is. We saw two groups of people walk out and others mad about how disorganized it was . I'm not sure if its do to new employees or some employees not carrying their own weight, causing more work for others and dissatisfied customers. Whomever the floor manager should have caught this and directed the flow to make sure there were no waiting.

Omelet was pretty tasty..... hash browns not so much

Unassuming breakfast place near Walmart. The interior is pretty basic and was not very busy Sunday morning. The service was quick buy there were issues: 1. Lukewarm coffee.... I like everything very hot!! 2. Got a side of gravy with my biscuit.... great flavor but was ice cold. 3. Waiter checked on us 10 minutes after we got out food. Considering all the breakfast options in the area probably would not return.

My son used to live in Laramie, so I'm always looking for a diner with classic breakfast food and a small town feel like J's Prairie Rose. I certainly didn't expect to find it in an spot that shares a parking lot with Walmart, but Benny's Cafe is just that. The workers were incredibly friendly and efficient. I came to eat by myself, received my food I a quick manner, while enjoying the ambiance of Benny's Cafe. Basic, yet delicious, food.

Fresh Fruit Parfait LIKE ARE YOU KIDDING I FELT LIKE A QUEEN EATING THIS

Love it love it love it love!!! I live really close to this establishment and never go but I regret it, I've been missing out on some of the best service and food, especially the fresh options, like the fresh fruit parfait that comes in a margarita glass makes me feel like I'm eating a sweet treat on a budget ( $7.00 y'all!!) shoutout to Alexis for being such a attentive waitress, so nice and was super quick. Please stop in and give this business the love it deserves!!

Each I have come here it seems like it gets worse & worse. Service is kinda hit or miss. The food is probably in that 3-4.4 star

They did not look at the special request so the food was not made like I wanted. So did not eat. This is the first time they did this.

The menu may look the same, but the quality and preparation of items have changed. For example, the crab cake Benedict used to feature homemade crab cakes, and now it's a fried frozen-style patty. The one-star review is really based on the service experience, and unfortunately it's the reason we won't be returning. While waiting for our table, the manager or possible owner was telling single-party guests there was a 30-minute wait, while parties of three or more were being quoted only 10 minutes. An older woman standing there heard him tell the group in front of her 10 minutes right before he told her 30. The more I thought about it afterward, the more disappointed I was that I didn't speak up in the moment. Treating guests differently based solely on party size is unacceptable and left a very bad impression.

Since then, we've had brunch there 3 or 4 times, and every time has been a delight. We've spoke to the owner, a very friendly Armenian gentlemen whose cousin is also involved with the restaurant, as is the owner's daughter and others. Plus, he's been in the restaurant business for over 30 years, and a number of the employees have been with him for many years. Bottom line, the guy knows how to run a business. Be warned, though, as others have mentioned, there will be a line, and there's no phoning ahead, going online etc. You'll speak to the man with the clipboard, that's the owner. He'll put your name down and find you when it's your turn. The system works, and it's great. But what of the food? We've brought friends and family and between us all, have sampled easily a dozen dishes or more. My latest brunch was the chicken fried steak, and I ordered it kind of half breakfast, half lunch style. I wanted hashbrowns (extra crispy, and boy, were they delivered that way!) but also wanted fried okra, our server accepted the order with a smile. The steak was tender, well coated with golden brown and delicious crust, and the gravy was thick and well seasoned. Eggs were light and fluffy, and one can see from my picture, those hashbrowns were surely extra crispy. We've also sampled a number of the shop made desserts, and they have all been phenomenal. Bottom line, this is a great locally owned and operated business, where the owner is literally involved and working the floor every day, and they're really doing everything right.

Super patient with us, answered all of our questions, made recommendations, and very attentive. Will ask for her again. The menu was a cornucopia of drinks and eats that sound amazing. We had the pimento cheese spread, two orders of the chicken fried steak and two orders of redfish. Everything was spectacular. We can't wait to go try other items on the menu. While waiting for our table we wondered up to the 3rd floor. They had live music. The place was jumping up there. We are going to have to look up who is going to be playing and have another married date night. The only downside to the evening was unfortunately the host at the front door. He was rude and severely lacking in communication skills. If anything else had me "meh" I would have taken stars away but everything else made up for his shortcomings.

Once seated we waited nearly an hour for the food, and it arrived with one good plate, and a $55 "Wagyu" which was a small, twisted piece of sinewed, chewy meat with cold, soggy veggies and mash. Sent it back, and my wife was finished by the time the replacement came - which again, was about as 'Wag'yu as a pup's tail. They kindly removed cost of my meal, and we got anniversary desert. Nice building and staff working hard - just set your expectations accordingly.
