The pastelitos and tequenos were both delicious! The green cilantro garlic sauce that accompanied them was so good I had to take some home! I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs, subbing chicken, and all was super fresh and crisp. The location is a nice hole in the wall. Having gone during the holidays, they were decorated with Christmas decor. They had decent foot traffic with no wait time. Visited here on 12/9/25 - for my boyfriend's bday Atmosphere was nice, not busy at all, decor was cute & put together. Service could've been better. We ordered pastelitos (ground beef & chicken), the ground beef was really good - the sauce it came with definitely gave a good extra flavor to it/ the chicken one was dry, so the sauce helped with that. Also ordered Cachapas (sweet corn pancakes with pork) - wow these were delicious, especially when you eat them together. There was a lot of cheese though (I love cheese thankfully) I think we also ordered the slow roast brisket hash (didn't get a picture cause it was really good lol) Nonis is definitely worth a try read more

Great Find! I have been here twice. The service is great. The atmosphere is cozy. The food is the star. Great menu options. Looking forward to trying more items on the menu. First visit: Chachapas: 7/10 the corn cake was moist and fluffy. Actual corn kernels in the mix. Cheesy gooey goodness. I could not eat it all but glad I tried an authentic dish. The pork was sort of dry, not as enjoyable. Pastelitos: chicken (8/10) spring (9/10) both flavorful and appropriately stuffed. Flakey crust steals the show. So hands down my favorite breakfast spot in Melissa and I'm not entirely always a breakfast fan. I'm still waiting on them to get their espresso machine, but the food here is great. Located in a shopping center. We were greeted with a smile from the hostess and the server. The fresh OJ was delicious but our coffee was like warm at best. The coffee was probably old in the pot. Ordered hash browns. Good portion but missing the top layer being crispy so they did not have any texture. Waffles tasted like the hotel's waffles. The floors near us were dirty and there were only 5 tables when arrived. Have another star because my wife liked the crepes. Very transactional once we were being served so it felt awkward. The wait to be seated took about 15 minutes, which was impressive since people were waiting outside when we pulled up. The food took probably about 15 minutes to come out. Not a big deal considering how busy they get! Chocolate milk (not pictured) is creamy and thick, which I love. I didn't see an iced coffee on the menu so I just asked and they made me one! I added in a hazelnut creamer from the table to sweet it up and it was great! The eggs and hash browns were good! I love a slightly crispy hash brown. The avocado toast was good, but would be great in sourdough bread! The pancakes were very dry. Next time I would try the crepes or french toast instead. About $50 for everything read more

I was really excited to try this place. Unfortunately once will be enough. Service was just awful and the food was only okay. To be fair I arrived at 2pm on a Saturday and they close at 2:30. When I walked in there was one other customer and atleast 4-5 employees who were at the back talking. Took a few minutes for anyone to acknowledge my presence or seat me. Once seated I waited several minutes for anyone to come take my drink order. I wanted to respect their close time so I was ready with my meal order as well. It took about 7 minutes to get the cup of coffee I ordered. It was lukewarm. I politely asked if perhaps a new pot could be made. The server said that would not be possible and there would also be no refills. She did not offer to take it off my check. She finally offered to microwave the one cup of coffee available. Food was okay however the pork was so dry that if it had not come with a dip and lime juice I don't know if I could have eaten it. No one checked to see if I was happy with the meal. Had to wait several minutes after finishing to get the check. Still no offer to remove the coffee. There were a couple of friendly employees in the restaurant but my server was not one of them. Overall, pretty disappointing. There are so many restaurants in the area doing a great job, that I won't bother with this one again. read more
