Sunday Brunch Buffet - chicken fried steak, chicken fried chicken, fried catfish, Mac & cheese, and squash casserole
    Abbie J.

This place is our Sunday afternoon go to! We absolutely love KK. She has such incredible service that she feels like part of our family. She knows exactly what drinks we want and says hello with a bright smile every time we walk in. Their Sunday brunch buffet has the most consistently delicious southern comfort food in DFW! My husband loves the chicken fried chicken and mashed potatoes and I literally crave their squash casserole and fried catfish! This place feels like home and tastes like home. It's warm and inviting from the moment you walk in the door until the moment you waddle out ready for an afternoon nap.

I ordered the chicken fried steak. Not only was the batter flavorful. The meat itself was seasoned well! Homemade mashed potatoes were chunky but excellent. Oak was perfect. Ordered a peach cobbler to go. Service was great. Super cute and homey inside. Can't wait to try the brunch buffet.

Love that Yelp helps me find great places no matter where I go. Buffet had great chicken fried steak, fried fish, pot roast, ribs. Desserts were yum. Great lil place.

"Meatloaf" was horrible tastes like watered down meat and was burnt

family friendly Cozy little place to eat nice but dont order the meatloaf. Horrible was burnt and took one bite.... the waitress had the audacity to think we should pay for the $13.00 meal.

You could let potential customers coming in on Sunday that all you have is a buffet and nothing else.

The food is good. The brunch is pretty epic. I particularly love the chicken fried steak fingers. They also have an amazing buttermilk pie!

Their food options are also impressive, with everything from small bites and finger foods to more filling dinner options. This is great because the staff is always so kind and welcoming. Our personal favorites have been the charcuterie board and the pizzas, both of which are always a great choice. The charcuterie board was WAY bigger than I expected and honestly big enough to share as a meal next time. I ordered the Sweet Thai Chili Chicken Flatbread and really liked the flavor, but they were definitely generous with the sauce. It made the flatbread a little soggy, even after trying to crisp up the leftovers in the air fryer. Same thing with the hot honey flatbread I ordered to-go for my boyfriend. Everything tasted great, I'd just ask for the sauces on the side next time. Overall, I'd absolutely go back. Great atmosphere, great food, and now I know exactly how I'd order next visit.

Service is excellent the staff is friendly and the owner is super sweet. She wants her customers to be happy. I really appreciated her kindness. Food is good, but it's not your typical American Catfish and appeared to be Swai. Which makes sense as this is an Asian business. I know Swai is a cousin to the Catfish family I'm use too. I will say the portion size is generous. The fish is fried with love and seasoned well. It's cooked to order and came out piping hot. The fries were also hot and crispy. I thought the fries were really good. I enjoyed the jalapeño pepper, tomatoes and pickles. Included was hot sauce, tartar sauce and ranch dressing. Finally! Bonham got a good place to eat breakfast!…read more I ordered the Texas Classic breakfast and opted for bacon and biscuit with it. The bacon is a good, quality bacon and was cooked to perfection. The hash browns were cooked exactly how I like them...crispy. my eggs were cooked exactly like I ordered them. Now let's talk about that biscuit. Yes, it is worthy of its own paragraph. It is homemade, and so delicious. Yum! Hubs ordered the ham and cheese omelet with a side of fruit (he's on some new diet kick). He said it was very flavorful with lots of cheese. His fruit was very fresh. As an after thought, I ordered the sourdough toast just to try it. So good! So buttery. It is hard to choose between the toast and biscuit. Both are winners. I cannot wait to come back here for lunch or dinner! I glanced at their menu, and their prices are super reasonable. The service was super friendly and attentive. I am a suckered for rustic café decor, and this one is very charming. They have a really cool painting. I took a photo. Another after thought...hubs saw pumpkin lattes, so he ordered one to go. Although they didn't have a bunch of reviews, the ones they did have were good - so we decided to give them a try. Walked in around noon on a Friday to an empty restaurant, that's usually not a good sign. Our server looked like she'd just rolled out of bed but at least she was there I suppose. There was also a young school aged girl sitting in a booth who was semi watching a little toddler (employees children I assume)? We had to listen to Miss Rachel sing Old McDonald & the toddler running around being loud. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special either. They had good tea, I will give them that. It's a nice place, it was clean & conveniently located downtown near other businesses - which is why I couldn't understand why they weren't busy. I guess the locals might know something I don't. We were the only ones there the entire time. I know good help is hard to find these days, so you may have to settle for what you can get, but your employees can also make or break you as well. First impressions are everything, and although we were just passing through, I don't think I'd go back.
