Sunday Brunch Buffet - chicken fried steak, chicken fried chicken, fried catfish, Mac & cheese, and squash casserole
    Abbie J.

This place is our Sunday afternoon go to! We absolutely love KK. She has such incredible service that she feels like part of our family. She knows exactly what drinks we want and says hello with a bright smile every time we walk in. Their Sunday brunch buffet has the most consistently delicious southern comfort food in DFW! My husband loves the chicken fried chicken and mashed potatoes and I literally crave their squash casserole and fried catfish! This place feels like home and tastes like home. It's warm and inviting from the moment you walk in the door until the moment you waddle out ready for an afternoon nap.

I ordered the chicken fried steak. Not only was the batter flavorful. The meat itself was seasoned well! Homemade mashed potatoes were chunky but excellent. Oak was perfect. Ordered a peach cobbler to go. Service was great. Super cute and homey inside. Can't wait to try the brunch buffet.

Love that Yelp helps me find great places no matter where I go. Buffet had great chicken fried steak, fried fish, pot roast, ribs. Desserts were yum. Great lil place.

"Meatloaf" was horrible tastes like watered down meat and was burnt

family friendly Cozy little place to eat nice but dont order the meatloaf. Horrible was burnt and took one bite.... the waitress had the audacity to think we should pay for the $13.00 meal.

You could let potential customers coming in on Sunday that all you have is a buffet and nothing else.

The food is good. The brunch is pretty epic. I particularly love the chicken fried steak fingers. They also have an amazing buttermilk pie!

Their food options are also impressive, with everything from small bites and finger foods to more filling dinner options. This is great because the staff is always so kind and welcoming. Our personal favorites have been the charcuterie board and the pizzas, both of which are always a great choice. Overall, The Red Feather is a fantastic local spot with great drinks, great food, and a polished atmosphere that makes every visit enjoyable.

The charcuterie board was WAY bigger than I expected and honestly big enough to share as a meal next time. I ordered the Sweet Thai Chili Chicken Flatbread and really liked the flavor, but they were definitely generous with the sauce. It made the flatbread a little soggy, even after trying to crisp up the leftovers in the air fryer. Same thing with the hot honey flatbread I ordered to-go for my boyfriend. Everything tasted great, I'd just ask for the sauces on the side next time. Overall, I'd absolutely go back. Great atmosphere, great food, and now I know exactly how I'd order next visit.

Great food, service and had the new modern breakfast Cafe look, feel and sound. I usually go with French toast but something on the menu caught my eye...Chicken Biscuits. Chicken Fried Chicken on Biscuits and Gravy with Hashbrowns, chicken drizzled with honey and topped with an egg...YES PLEASE!!! I 86ed the egg wife asked if she could have it so they put it on the side for her. It was delicious, and I'm not even a biscuits and gravy kind of guy. Chicken was well seasoned and the biscuits were nice and fluffy. I really enjoyed the hashbrowns being thin and crispy as opposed to thick and mushy like at our local place. They also had Tobasco which made me really happy, a lot of places only have Cholula or their house hot sauce. A few shakes of Tobasco on the chicken helped my eyes roll further in the back of my head with every bite. My wife had the Garden Skillet and really enjoyed it. It was a huge portion, at least 2 meals for her. Go check them out, we will be back. I want to try the French toast but all I've thought about for the last 2 days is the chicken biscuits...

They have a rather large drink menu to choose from, so there's something for everyone. The chips are really thin and the dip options are fantastic. The black bean dip was a great appetizer, but there were two different salsas that were equally tasty, with the right amount of spice. We ordered a steak fajitachanga, which was delicious. The steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The portion was quite large and could have easily been shared. Another dish was the appetizer platter, that consisted of a quesadilla, jalapeño poppers, nachos, and some flautas. The quesadilla and nachos had steak, that was seasoned similar to the other dish. The Mexican shrimp cocktail was a little sweeter than I'd like, but I still enjoyed it. Our server was great and attentive. We will definitely be back and wished we hadn't waited so long to try this place.

Walked in around noon on a Friday to an empty restaurant, that's usually not a good sign. Our server looked like she'd just rolled out of bed but at least she was there I suppose. There was also a young school aged girl sitting in a booth who was semi watching a little toddler (employees children I assume)? We had to listen to Miss Rachel sing Old McDonald & the toddler running around being loud. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special either. They had good tea, I will give them that. It's a nice place, it was clean & conveniently located downtown near other businesses - which is why I couldn't understand why they weren't busy. I guess the locals might know something I don't. As an after thought, I ordered the sourdough toast just to try it. So good! So buttery. It is hard to choose between the toast and biscuit. Both are winners.
