It's a small restaurant and there were about 15 of us so we had to sit in three different groups (sad face). It fill up so it was quite noisy. Our waiter was good, the food came in a timely manner. When they brought the food they hollered out what they had. The food was OK. Delivery of the bills and paying them quite well. Parking was at an angle on the street and they need to paint the lines and make the spaces a bit bigger. read more

Second time eating lunch here. They have a nice selection of lunch specials for $9.99. My son and i had the Chicken fried steak and the pork chop. The sides were pretty standard, the potatoes are real (not instant). The pork chop was fried perfectly with just a crust of breading. Service is fairly quick considering its a small town cafe with a small staff and this place was packed when we walked in. Highly recommend stopping in. read more

Went in on an evening where they were open later for dinner, we were the only ones there. Server was extremely friendly and helpful with recommending popular menu items. I got a standard cheeseburger, and my partner ordered a chicken fried steak. Everything came out fresh and quick, and tasted great. We were silent during our meal because we were so focused on eating! Vibe is hometown diner, and the style definitely fits that as well as the food. They were recommended to me on a group. Wanted a new place to take my kids to. They were affordable, easy to find and the service was amazing. My kids cleaned their plates. I was hopeful for this place when we first moved to Howe, as food options here are limited, but the food is just not good. It's the most basic food possible. Pretty sure the veggies came out of a can. The salad that came with my spaghetti was a complete waste, basic shredded iceberg with next to nothing on it. That should never be served. The spaghetti was super bland, but still better than the salad. Best thing I could say is the server was super sweet. But we'll probably never be back. read more

The good: Whatever you're doing to make those fresh-cut fries, please don't stop. The catfish was nearly as good as Huck's, which I consider best in the area. A few recommendations: If you're gonna make catfish this good, make sure the tartar sauce is homemade. Also, I was expecting the ranchero beans to be spicier... but I loved that they were prepared with tender loving care. Great burger! Stopped in for lunch the other day. They have a list of lunch specials. They are mostly country food dishes which were not my favorites. However, they have a list of burgers that are out of this world. I got the Swiss mushroom burger which was fabulous. It came with chips or fries. I opted for the fries and asked for ranch dressing for the fries. There was an extra charge. Oh well, they were worth it. Definitely a great lunch place. I had heard of a lot of people driving to Howe from the DFW area for it, and after trying it I understood why.
