This place was super yummy. Clean & creative atmosphere. I had the pro protein shake, some scrambled eggs & and açaí bowl. All were delicious, though the bowl melted rather quickly. Service was good. Love that it's both CJs & Lettice Indulge at this location

Packed to go because cutting this took over half an hour.

This was at the new location downtown. Food was ok; service was abysmal. When the manager finally brought my wife's meal - 20 minutes after everyone else finished eating - he acted like he did us a favor by making it at all. Unbelievably smug, basically told us it was her fault for ordering

Location is right off the main highway. Bypass the Starbucks and go into this location for a local coffee from CJ's. Even though CJ's and Lettuce Indulge are separate businesses, they share a space with a wonderful environment. Service may seem slows but it's because they make your food fresh to order! Health conscious and fresh ingredients are good for the soul. Say hi to Angela who always has a beautiful smile and is ready to serve you.

Lettuce Indulge will forever be one of my favorite places to eat at. I don't live in Texas anymore, but whenever I come back to visit this is always on my list of places to go. The staff is always so friendly, and I feel that you can tell the cooks enjoy their job based on how each dish is always picture-worthy. Overall, a nice place to eat, grab a coffee and meet with a friend, or even study.

Driving from Dallas to Oklahoma and used Google to find food nearby. One person ordered cold brew coffee and another got the Mocha Frappe. The portion size was perfect. It was filling but I did not feel like I over ate. The salad included a mixture of different greens. It was not just iceberg lettuce. The veggie skillet with red potatoes was perfect for the vegetarian.

This shop and roastery is owned by a guy who knows and is passionate about coffee and roasting, and is happy to interact with customers in the shop. He's got a small library of videos on YouTube on a variety of topics that are of interest to home enthusiasts as well as professionals. But how's the coffee? I dropped in for an espresso and a cortado, followed by a bag to take home. All of the products were based on their house blend, Ember Espresso. It's promoted as a "well developed medium roast", and I'd agree with that assessment. It promises notes of chocolate and caramel, with a smooth body, and hints of dark berries. Both drinks in the cafe (particularly the espresso) delivered in all point. The berry notes appeared towards the end, almost like a sweet farewell as the shot went by. My home shots from the bag (brewed on a Decent Espresso DE1) were very similar, with intense chocolate and that slight berry "punch", and went fantastic in milk drinks. The cafe itself is well appointed and inviting, and can accommodate a pretty good crowd. Parking can be a little tricky, but that's not their fault. Nothing a little walk won't fix. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there's a good selection of beans to go along with a nicely appointed menu of drinks. The quality of beans and drinks here could almost make it a destination for true coffee enthusiasts; I'm fortunate that it's only about 20 minutes from my home, so it's a no-brainer. Definitely worth the side quest if you're making the trip up US 75 towards Oklahoma or back.

I could taste the quality and how they had recently roasted the beans. I enjoyed the richness and depth of the coffee beans in the espresso. The staff is exceptional - I liked how the owner struck up a conversation with us about where we are from and my friends traveling. The vibes are that of a roastery with massive brick walls like a Brooklyn warehouse with cozy seats, games, and (assuming) art from where they get their beans. I'll be returning :)

One of these indie shops is Full City Rooster. I stopped in twice and had an iced Latte. The crew was great. Very nice, good eye contact, they seemed genuinely happy and made some good casual conversation. The coffee was fantastic as well. Good pull on the espresso, not burned, and the balance of milk to espresso was ideal. The space itself is cool, (feels smidge stark as far as seating), but the aesthetic and atmosphere, as well as the patrons, made this spot a fave to stop in.

In addition to our single origin offerings, we only roast small batches. Small batch roasting allows us to keep control of our quality and contain our bean loss in the event that one of our roasts does not produce according to our standards. Because we only roast single origins and in small lots our sales model is based on a limited amount of finished product being available for purchase. Once it is roasted, and all of it is sold we move on to our next single origin product. This system allows us to keep our product waste to a minimum; our cost lower, and provides our customers with unique and fresh coffee. What Makes Us Different from Large Retail Roasters: As with any type of produce, coffee crops have cycles. These cycles are what allow us to obtain different coffee's at different times of the year, which means we can offer coffee's to our customers that large retailers cannot. The "Big Boys" order millions of pounds of the same coffee every year from massive "Estate" coffee plantations. Smaller coffee farms that offer rare and interesting coffees are skipped over because they cannot produce enough beans to satisfy the demand of large roasters. This means that Kings Koffee can purchase these smaller farmers product and offer a unique creation to our customers...
