We stopped here for lunch on our way to camp at Burns Run East Campground. The was plenty of space in the parking lot to park our trailer. The special of the day was the chicken fried steak dinner with 2 sides for $10.00. That was the best chicken fried steak that I've had in a long time. It was so tender, I could cut it with a fork. The onion rings were also delicious. Comfort food at it's best!

This place is a good home cooking restaurant. The atmosphere is comfy and the railroad decorations are an added bonus. The food was delicious and good size portions! Will come again!

Cool little one of a kind diner. Country cooking comfort food. Great fries and loaded baked potato. Great atmosphere and the music wasn't blaring. Prices were reasonable. See us on youtube at Coolest Life.

Was in Sherman and placed a to go order to take home and I ordered 3 chicken fried steak sandwiches with onion rings......the sandwiches were decent but I have never in my life eaten more disgusting onion rings....they were completely limp, barely had any breading at all and were greasy greasy GREASY. They at least tried to make them fresh, but in this case the frozen onion rings would have been 10 times better. We all 3 threw them in trash and ate potato chips.

Great food- loved the hamburger and especially the bun. 4 stars because you walk out smelling like fried food.

Doesn't taste homemade and poor quality. Small portions and gravy tasted from packet. Would not recommend.

My ideal for small town, dining. Good food, good service, and a whimsical atmosphere. Large portions and reasonable prices.

A great down home kind of place. Traditional menu cooked to order. Nothing fancy but very good overall with friendly staff.

Stopped in on way to another place (no food was had). No…read moretraditional bar taps on wall, so the bar is quite odd and void of norms. Non-traditional. The entry is as though it's a restaurant, primarily, but to me I was still visiting a brewery regardless. Beer menu had a variety yet was too minimalist in info. Zero descriptions. (Pic) Tried Sherman Bock, Kilt Switch and Dubai Chocolate Stout. Sherman Bock was my fellow beer drinkers choice. A solid bock, easy drinking type for a broad section of people. Kilt Switch is a Wee Heavy Scotch Ale that is hidden and buried in the menu simply under Ambers. WhatTF?! It's a 2 time GABF medal winner (2025 Silver 2018 Bronze) and the taste of match! Why not highlight it!? 903? Easy drinking, which is dangerous at 10.5%, and one not to pass up if you like Scotch Ales. Dubai Chocolate Stout 9%. As pics show, zero description of beer or ingredients are offered. It was a good "special" Stout style. Bit sweet to me and reminiscent of winter choco/fruit stouts. Good in its category. Just not my preferred style. Side note: Menu has another unlabled GABF medal winner under stouts but no visitor would know unless they ask a lot of questions or are a beer nerd (me?).

Absolutely never again…read more The beer was the biggest disappointment. We tried a flight of four different beers, and every single one was bitter and had an unpleasant aftertaste. I'd generously rate the beer a 2/10. It was also overpriced. They didn't have flight glasses (restaurant was empty ) so they served the beer in plastic cups The food wasn't much better. The burger buns were dry and chalky, the burger was overcooked, and one of the burgers came out completely wrong. For two burgers with fries, a flight of four beers, and a water, our total was about $70 (including an 18% tip). For the quality we received, it wasn't worth the price. Overall, the beer, food, and value were all disappointing. We won't be back.

Yeah, that includes CFA #Shhhh They love the military, first responders, and returning customers. Not that this is the healthiest place to eat, it's one of the most welcoming. You've never had French fries until you've had Freddy's Fries. And you've never had custard like Freddy's either. Just trust me, I'm so happy they have a Freddy's in Texas. Last time I couldn't order a hot dog because "they hadn't thawed out the buns." Tonight the crew seemed to be without a manager and completely lost. 1. I had a $10 reward (that's how often I come here). No one could figure out how to apply it. There seems to be a severe training gap here. 2. It took more than a half hour to get our food. 3. The order was wrong. Barely any lettuce on the burger, no onions even though we asked for them. No ketchup because "they looked all over for ketchup and can't find any." And the patty was practically bleeding. 4. Literally every single table is filthy. We had to clean our own. 5. By the mobile order stand, there is a lake of water. Not sure if it was spilled or coming from the freezer. 6. The tea tasted rancid. 7. The door on the south side is broken arm or something because it kept slamming hard. 8. Hot dogs didn't taste right like they weren't the normal wieners. And they were overcooked. 9. The fries were ice cold and underdone. By far the worst visit out of many here. Not sure why. We've had great experiences in the past. I'll be happy to delete this when I see service improve because I am happy there is a Freddy's here, but at this pace, you will be out of business soon.
