This place was outstanding. We had an order of chicken fajitas, and an order of the quesabrilla tacos, with the chips and queso to start. The flavors were just so much better than other Mexican restaurants. Their homemade green and red sauce were brought to the table, and they were outstanding. We found this place on Apple Maps and wanted to give it a try and it was our best decision yet! The service is amazing and the girl at the counter is super nice. We ordered tacos, birria, steak torta, and a machete with 2 meats. I wish I took a picture but the food both looked and tasted amazing. There are also refills on the agua fresca which is almost never heard of!! If dining in, they also give you chips with salsa and beans and I want to say the bean dip is AMAZING!!! read more

Decided to try this place after seeing reviews online. Came after the lunch rush but before the dinner crowd. Not a huge parking lot but a few spots behind the building. When we arrived at 10:30 for breakfast, there were zero cars. The front door was locked but no sign so we knocked. A woman came to the door and apologized profusely for it being locked. She hadn't wondered why not one person had come in. We sat looking at the breakfast menu but we aren't familiar with the food and we don't understand the Spanish. I ate at Chef Angel Mi Restaurante the first time today. I had the chicken enchiladas. They had a good flavor and there was plenty food on the plate. The menu here on Yelp does not match their actual menu. Everything on their actual menu is on the Yelp menu, but some things on the Yelp menu are not on the actual menu. Specifically, the pork chops are not on their menu. I asked the waitress and she said they do not serve pork chops. I urged them to contact Yelp and figure out what is going on. read more

My Husband and I picked up dinner from here for the first time, last week. Wow am I sorry we haven't known about it sooner. Lindy had the chicken fajitas and I had the chicken tacos. Oh my goodness everything was absolutely what I've been looking for here in town. We have many Mexican food places but in my opinion, I hadn't found one that was something I could look forward to because it was SO good, until Chef Angels. Food was hot and fresh and the service was wonderful. My son even went there the very next night after I told him about it. He got the beef fajitas and said they were incredible. Worth a visit or two. In a market is saturated with TexMex restaurants, this is more traditional Mexican food with some TexMex options. The horchata and jamaica (hibiscus) are very good! I've had the flautas (very good) and the chimichanga. I'd happily have both again. My wife got the the pombazo and the sopa de res. She was very pleased with both! They have a children's menu with American options. After trying most the "Mexican" restaurants in the the area, I don't see a reason to revisit any other restaurant when craving Mexican food. It's the best around IMO. FYI - They are not open every night, so check the hours before you make the visit. read more
